 + -1 moreThey fixed the problem. It was under warranty at the time. They were so expensive when I called them after that, they were ridiculous.

Description of Work: Watson's sold us a gas fireplace and had their contractor install it for us.

Description of Work: A representative came to give us an estimate on replacing the vinyl liner on our above-ground pool. This pool is very old, we inherited it when buying our home six years ago. Representative reached the decision that Watsons would probably not be able to help us due to the fact that the pool was old, partially built into the ground, company installing pool was out of business, they would not be able to get parts if needed, sides might collapse, metal might have rust spots, etc. We later received a phone call from a person in the Watson's office offically telling us that they would not be able to help. We told them in advance, at our home, that we would waive in writing any responsibility on their end if something DID go wrong. Turning us down was the best decision they could have made from our side. We ended up finding a great guy with over 30 years of experience w/these pools, and he replaced the liner and skimmer for a lot less than Watson's estimated cost. He also was prepared for possible complications, like rust on the metal (which it did not have). In our opinion Watson's is an O.K. place to buy needed pool supplies but necessarily good for service.

 + -1 moreWe went to the Kettering store to look at fireplace options both gas and electric. The salesman there was very knowledgeable about both and helped us make the decision to buy an electric fireplace made by Dimplex. We brought it home and are enjoying it. The price we paid was very competitive. We were given the "sale" price for the unit even thought the sale did not start until the end of the week.
Description of Work: Purchased an electric fireplace from Watson's.

 + -1 moreTHEY HAD US RESEARCH THE PROBLEM UNTIL WE COULD IDENTIFY EXACTLY WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY TO REPLACE THE PART, BUT HAD A FAULTY ONE, SO HE HAD TO COME BACK WITH ANOTHER ONE.
Description of Work: THEY REPAIRED THE GAS FIREPLACE THAT THEY SOLD US TEN YEARS AGO. THEY REPLACED THE IGNITER AND THE THERMOCOUPLE.
