Vesper Painting & Restorations

Everything seem to be going well until Chris was beginning to finish up the job, there seemed to be personal issues making him rushing to have the job completed. I was pointing out spots within the house where the previous coat of paint was still showing through and he began rushing around. With the rush he spilled paint on our carpet which he covered with flour to soak up the paint. I then brought up the point that the stairwell still had black showing through some of the white paint and at that time he told me the cost would increase for additional coats on the stairwell. This was very unacceptable since he told me the cost up front of the job, I would not expect the price to increase after the fact. He should of completed the job for the price quoted originally. I then told him I was concerned with the paint spill on the carpet and did not feel comfortable with paying until it was cleaned.. At that point he began to be a bit hostile demanding payment in front of my wife and newborn, but had agreed that if the use of flour did not work then he would have someone out to clean up the paint. So I took him at his word and paid him to get him out. After a couple hours I tried to pick up the flour and the paint stain was still in the carpet. Also after the fact, I found quite a bit of spilled paint in our laundry room which he did not clean up or even feel that he should tell me about before he left. I texted him right away with pics of the issue with no response. I also have called every day over the last week with no answers or return calls. I would not recommend Chirs Eldridge or Vesper Painting to anyone in the future.
