Description of Work: Things went well despite one painter quitting during my job. I was also not given a correct estimate but Chris called me immediately and let me know of the mistake.

Description of Work: They painted 3 of our bathrooms. Everything went fine and I will be having them do future work.

Description of Work: Tri State Painting did a fantastic job. They were on time, cleaned up after themselves, were very responsive to questions, and most importantly did a fantastic painting job. Couldn't have asked for anything better. We will definitely use Tri State Painting again in the future!

Description of Work: I called TriState Painting to have them quote painting some interior doors in our home. They came out, and took a look. I was told that I would get a quote in a couple of days (via e-mail). We confirmed my e-mail address, and I got nothing. I called back and spoke with the operator and she indicated that she would find out what was going on and get back with me. Never heard from them again. Can't say anything about their quality of workmanship. I just know that I won't be using them given that I never got a quote for the work.

Description of Work: I put the plus sign because I will be hiring tri state painting again. |The owner and another gentleman arrived on time and began working promptly. The owner carefully inspected each wall and was very meticulous in correcting every imperfection, flaw, mini-crack and nail mark on my walls. |The work and the work ethic were top quality.

Description of Work: Three painters came to my house and proceeded to paint my living room ceiling and walls and my kitchen ceiling and walls. Because smokers used to live in my home there was nicotine stain on the walls through out the house, which required multiple coats of paint. The painting process is a bit different for a ex-smoker's home. This I learned from the three painters. They did a great job considering what they had to cover. I would definitely hiring Tri-State Painting again because they were very professional in their work and I learned a lot from the experience. I would definitely recommend having them provide the paint (purchased separately) and consult with them to determine the best way to approach the job (smoker/non-smoker, best colors, etc.). This was a totally new experience for me!

Description of Work: Painted walls and ceiling of living and dining room. Great attention to detail!

Description of Work: I was originally scheduled to have painters arrive on Friday. However, on Friday morning no one showed up during the scheduled time. When my husband called, they said there was a scheduling error and would not be able to come out. This was frustrating because my husband had taken off work and we needed to have our laundry room painted because we were having appliances delivered the next day. After that news, we decided to paint the room ourselves. In order to make up for the error, the painters agreed to come out and paint for us the following day. The painters were very professional, friendly, fast and cost effective. The job they did was awesome and the rooms they painted looked great. Overall, I think they could benefit from keeping better track of their schedule and a confirmation call a day prior would be beneficial. But the work was great and I would use these painters again.

Description of Work: They arrived 10 minutes early. They painted 2 full bathrooms and a small hallway. They did a quality jobs and didn't waste any time. |

Description of Work: Painted ceilings and trim. I found drops of paint on the floor after they left. Overall the job was ok. My biggest problem with the is they would only work weekdays. Since I work the weekdays this was a problem. I think they said they limited the special to weekdays only but that didn't help me. Also, they left early because I ran out of ceiling paint, my fault. I called a few days later to see if they would com back, I had no expectation that they would. The woman who answered the phone said she would check with the owner. I never heard from them again, not good. |So, even though the work was ok, I won't be using them again.

Description of Work: They were great. Showed up on time, kept everything clean, they were quiet and professional. |I am using them again this month. |They went around painting the crown molding and patching up spots along the way.

Description of Work: They painted my downstairs and upstairs hallway, including a bunch of trim. Nick did a wonderful job - great attention to detail. We definitely will use them for our other painting needs

Description of Work: Complete wall paper tear-down, repair, and paint on two-story interior family room, hallway, stairs, and foyer plus all door and window trim. | |One of the best painting contractors we have ever used. Planning to have them back for exterior painting soon.

Description of Work: I preface this critique with the fact that I am very demanding and sometimes overly critical. | |I had a few questions for Chris a few days after his crew had finished the job. Chris arrived the same day and went above and beyond the call of duty! He was a pleasant person, and was very meticulous in his work! | |I would positively recommend this company, and easily would use him again for future painting tasks.
