Stephen Fugate Concrete

We just had our 900’ long driveway completed. The Fugate team does excellent work. It was a big project that took five days to complete at about 200’ per day with a crew of six or seven long term employees with a lot of experience. They worked very well together as a team. Set the forms the day before, concrete arrived early the next morning, they placed and finished that days concrete, and set the next day’s forms. We would not hesitate to recommend.

Excellent, they did a good job they did what were asking too. done neatly and on time. Reasonable price.

They did a very good job on the driveway, but they left holes in the yard up and down the driveway. Now I am going to have to spend more money for a landscaper to fix my yard. I was not told in advance that they would not fill in all the holes in my yard.

It took one day to remove the old concrete and lay the forms. They came the next day and finished the project. Dyed and stomped the concrete and it looks terrific. Great job!

The job went very well. They arrived on time, went right to work and definitely knew what they were doing. The job was complete in 6 hours.

Steve called me back same day I left my message. He showed up for the appointment when he said he would and he delivered an excellent final product. Very impressed with Steve and his team.

Stephen arrived on time and worked through out the day tearing out the old concrete and setting the forms. He returned a few days later due to a rainy Friday and the weekend and poured the new concrete. I am very happy with his work and professionalism. He is very pleasant and wanted to make sure I was happy with everything. I would definitely hire him again.

I contacted Mr. Fugate to request an estimate for replacing the walkway, driveway and garage slab at my home. He arrived promptly for our appointment. After our discussion and his review & measurements of the area, he offered a price estimate followed-up with a written, detailed statement of work. He provided timely responses to all my questions. Mr. Fugate exhibited a very customer-focused attitude and provided a fair, reasonable estimate. He did not attempt to over-estimate the amount of concrete needed for the project and did not attempt to sell me a “thicker” slab of concrete that would have been needed for a private residential property. I found him to be a business person with integrity. These traits enabled him to stand above several other providers who also offered estimates but disappointed me by exhibiting one or more of these customer-unfriendly behaviors: • not responding to my questions in a timely manner, • not providing a written estimate in a timely manner, • over-estimating the square-footage or cubic-footage of the area being replaced, • over-pricing the job without reason or justification, • providing a vague statement of work, which allows opportunity for “nickel-and-diming” the customer after work begins. Since I had not experienced any of the above concerns while working with Mr. Fugate, I was very comfortable in my decision to hire him for my project. Once the work dates had been established, Mr. Fugate honored the scheduled work dates and arrived early on each work day. We were blessed with warm, sunny, dry work days. Mr. Fugate and his team worked steadily each day in order to complete all required work for each day and to keep the project on schedule. The job started on-time and it finished on-time. From start to finish, Mr. Fugate and his team were hard-working, skilled and respectful toward me and my property. I was extremely happy with the results. The work team did not depart my home until after I had performed my review of the finished work and after any questions/issues had been addressed. Many of my neighbors have offered compliments regarding the results of their fine work. A few neighbors wanted to know who did the work as they also require concrete replacement on their properties. Now that weeks have passed and the new concrete has dried, I remain very pleased with my new driveway, walkway and garage slab. I enjoyed working with Mr. Fugate and his team. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and his crew for your (the reader) concrete project. I sincerely thank Mr. Fugate and his crew for providing me with a finished product that compliments my home and will be appreciated for many years!

Great. Stephen arrived on time and did a great job according to schedule and agreement. A wire to the front lamp was broken in the process (inevitable - it went under the existing sidewalk) so Stephen installed a plastic pipe before laying down the new sidewalk so new line wouldn't be embedded like the prior line. Finished product looks great. I got 3 quotes. Stephen's was several thousand less than others. He also provided proof of liability and workman's comp - which is important if you're having folks use heavy equipment on your property and/or have employees. Stephen is one of the most easy-going and hard-working guys I've met. Even with a significant equipment malfunction he completed the job on time and kept his good mood throughout. This work was done on our primary residence and I'll contact Stephen for work on my rehab and rental properties as well.

Awesome young man. It was right before winter hit because we were on a crunch because if we didn't get it done in time and he was able to get it straightened out. We weren't able to use our front porch for probably 3 months. His politeness stood out the most.

He was consistently pleasant and professional. He did a fantastic job in a timely manner. He is very good at analyzing problems and coming up with practical solutions. Where other contractors thought we should have a new retaining wall, Stephen felt that a new hill side of compacted earth (clay) would serve the same purpose at a much lower price and he even recycled the old retaining wall. I highly recommend him for any sort of concrete and masonry work. He is very skillful and talented to the extend that impressed our neighbors and even asking for his information. Our friends have admired the driveway and it is rare for people to even notice one!!

We needed to have our garage floor fixed, either jacked or taken out and replaced. After talking to a couple of contractors we decided it would be best to replace it in the long term. We contacted Stephen Fugate Concrete for a bid and see what needed to be done. Stephen came out and plainly explained what we needed done, how he would go about it, how much concrete we would need, what type he would use and the steps to do it. He quoted a price that was fair and what we had thought it should cost. After all, it's concrete, not rocket science I told Stephen that we would need some time to clean out the garage and he graciously offered to help with that. When the day came they arrived on time and helped move a large cabinet and metal shelving unit out of the garage. The work was done as he had stated and completed in one day. It took 8 yards of concrete and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Before he left we talked about replacing the front and back side walks next spring. We are glad we found Stephen Fugate Concrete. Hard working and professional.

From the beginning everything with Steve was very good. He was very professional when he came to our house for a free estimate and his crew was hard working and professional during their time here. The project hit a bit of a snag due to weather, they did the demolition and forming one day and due to rain had to come back early the next week to pour and finish the concrete. Steve was great with the delay and did his best to get here and finish the job as soon as possible. It has rained hard since the pad was poured and the drain was installed and it is doing exactly what it is supposed to do! Quality of work was excellent, and everything about the job was great. I would definitely recommend Steve and his crew for your concrete needs!

Mr. Fugate and his crew showed up on time and ready to work the day of our scheduled project. The pad was completed within the time AND within the budget ,laid out in the free estimate provided by Mr. Fugate. We're very happy with the results, and are thankful for the job well done!!

Stephen and his crew arrived at my house to replace a part of the driveway that had sunk in. What I liked the most is that he called to let me know when he would arrive 30 minutes before so that gave me to move my cars out of the way. He and his crew were very professional in regards to my neighbors as to not block their way in and out of their homes with the equipment. During the pouring of the concrete they were sure to instruct traffic as the large concrete truck came down the street. His crew and himself were very professional during the time they were at my home. The quality of work was outstanding! I was very pleased to come home and see the craftsmanship and the detail to the slab. My neighbors were all impressed with the workmanship and several hired him. It was also very nice to come home to the clean up. No detail was too small and I appreciated that!

It went great. I love my patio and it has made a huge difference in my home. I love sitting out side and just enjoying my patio. The quality of work is incomparable to other stamped concrete patios I have seen. I felt like his price was very fair and he was very professional. I am a single girl who lives alone and a lot of companies will take advantage of the elderly and women. I never felt uncomfortable with him being there and lets face it some guys just creep us women out! I will always tell everyone about his company if they need any concrete work done. I am very very very happy with the work that was done.
