Spivey Heating and Air Conditioning

Everything went quite well. I get our A/C and furnace serviced every year and decided to try a different service provider this time just to get another opinion. Toby was very professional in his explanation of what we needed to do to keep our unit running efficiently. He also explained our options when it is time to replace our current unit which could be further out than we had been told previously. He took his time, but was efficient and didn't waste my time. We will definitely call him again in a couple months for the winter service.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out okay. I had purchased a big deal for 50 Dollars, and I paid 80 Dollars more. He was an average regular provider.

Toby responded quickly to my call for more info about the deal and the timing. When he heard I needed I knew I needed a charge on my old a/c unit and was getting told I would have to wait at least a week to get an appointment and hot weather was coming, he squeezed me in the next day. He did the job quickly and efficiently and charged me a reasonable price for the charge (3# @$80 +$59 for the tune-up = $299) I appreciated his quick response, his honesty, and his willingness to work with me on my 40+ year old A/C unit. I will definitely use him in the future and will call him for a quote when I can afford to replace my unit.

Arrived when he said he would, did a detailed checkup amd service of both furnace and air conditioner and pronounced them in good shape. He had serviced both pieces of equipment some years earlier when working for another firm. We were very happy with him and will use him again in the future.

The owner/serviceman Toby arrived in the 2hr scheduled appt window and after a 20 min courtesy call. He was clean, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He inspected everything and cleaned as needed explaining in detail what he was doing and things I could do to to keep things running well.

The guys was very easy to work with and worked around my busy work week. He showed up on time and then let me watch as he did the job. He did a great job cleaning my very very dirty A/C he spent about 2 hrs doing it which was well above and beyond what he had to do. I would use him again any time I need A/C work

Combined with the fact that he is the business owner makes him the front-runner for my air-conditioning contractor needs.

The service was scheduled for a morning that ended up being rainy. He called before he was supposed to arrive to say that he had been monitoring the weather radar and would be leaving now as the weather system appeared to be on the way out. The work was quickly and professionally accomplished. He also took the time to look at the insulation in the crawl spaces and answer my questions about that even though he was not contracted to perform that service. One of the serices was purchased through Angie's Big Deal; the other one was purchased for his full price. His pricing is much better than a larger, local firm I had used in the past who not always charged more but who also discovered "problems" every time they serviced the units. I will definitely be using him in the futre and highly recommend Spivey to others.

Our two AC systems are 15 years old and needed to be recharged. Called Toby in AM and he was here about 2:30 PM. We are in the market to replace one of the furnace & AC systems at the current time. Toby provided a quote to me by email early this evening. His prices are the best I have seen so far for comparable equipment from Lennox, Bryant and Amana. He is offering TempStar which is owned by Carrier, which also owns Bryant as well. All their equipment is interchangeable and the systems look the same. Now I have to learn about TempStar and see where the differences are. Thanks Toby for your service today.

The heating went just dandy, he was real helpful.

Spivey went the extra mile by putting silicone on the furnace where cool air was escaping. Added a PVC pipe to prevent clogging and gave me a tip on using Clorox to keep the PVC pipes clear. Also gave details on the type of air filters to use.

Toby was pleasant, polite, punctual, and professional! I would use his services again, as well as recommend him to others.

The guy that came out was extremely kind, friendly, and checked out our whole system. He was very professional. Great all around.
