Tuned furnace and a/c. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service.

The service worked out great. They were able to help out clean out another problem that was going on with our heat pump and we hired him to fix it as well. He came out and did it promptly. They were very attentive. He ended up reducing our second job that we hired him to do by the amount that we ended up paying him for the initial job so that was very nice. He ended up saving us money in the end because he could have replaced a bunch of stuff but he found out that it needed a small piece repaired and replaced. He was very good.

It turned out very well. They are dependable and they do good work.

Mr. Spivey was kind, efficient and helpful! Despite the extremely cold temperatures (temps well below zero) he came to our house, checked out the furnace, answered my questions, explained what he did and why. He didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need and after he'd replaced the relay he stayed for a little while to monitor the furnace to insure that it was working properly. I would recommend Spivey Heating to my friends!

Toby was punctual and very professional. He cleaned and inspected our furnace. He found some hairline cracks in the heat exchanger, which he showed me with his camera device. A new exchanger is ordered with the manufacturer. The furnace is still under warranty.

Provider arrived on time and performed the work efficiently. I probably hadn't changed my filter in two years. He advised me on proper maintenance and answered all my questions satisfactorily and willingly. He was very helpful. I would recommend Spivey Heating and A/C.

Showed up in two hours of call, which was a week before my scheduled appointment time due to breakdown. Found problem fixed it and did my annual tune up. Happy and impressed with service and professional conduct.

He fixed everything that the Big Deal stated; but he also mentioned that the cold air returns were working, when they were not. They were really nice and they kept everything clean though. They didn’t mess anything up and did a good job with the Big Deal, but all they did was the A/C tune up. Only one technician came out to do this work, but I did have issues with my cold air returns, which he was not able to fix.

Spivey was very nice on phone, and up front when I told him that I had a Lennox Pulse Furnace. He told me that I would be better served to have a Lennox Dealer service my HVAC. He was up front and honest, so I would highly recommend Spivey.

He called ahead like he said he would. He showed up when he said he would. He performed the tune-up well. He went the extra mile cleaning out all the pine tree debris that had fallen into my A/C unit. Nice guy, professional and friendly.

He was very knowledgeable, on time, went right to work, answered any questions I had. The humidifier filter needed to be cleaned or replaced, I opted to replace. He had none with him but said he would buy one and put it in for $35. I have not heard from him about the filter. My husband bought a filter and replaced the old one himself.

Mr. Spivey was very knowledgeable and spent more than an hour and a half cleaning and checking out our furnace and air conditioning systems. He brought to our attention the need for one of the a/c systems to be replaced because it was leaking and about 10 years past its typical life span. Frankly, I've never had anyone do such a thorough job of inspecting and cleaning our units. The outside a/c units were absolutely filthy and despite our having someone else come every year to clean them, Mr. Spivey removed an incredible amount of dirt/leaves/etc. that were affecting our a/c's functioning. We are very, very pleased with him and will have him come back, and will also consider his very reasonable bid on the one unit that needs replacing.

This was a good experience. Toby first came to my house on 10/3 to assess what would need to be done, location of my furnace, etc. Arrived on time, very pleasant and professional; insisted on wearing protective booties inside my house. Spent about 30 minutes explaining the installation process. I told him I was in no hurry - sometime in November would be fine. He called about 2 days later and we schedule the installation for 10/16 with planned arrival before 10 am (I work at home and had explainedto Toby that I would be on a conference call at 10 a and unavailable to let him in, so asked him to arrive before 10). He arrived on 10/16 at aroound 9:20 am and went immediately to work, letting me know there would be noise coming from basement. He also had to replace a broken water/pipe valve and remove the old humidifier. He spent a good amount of time educating me on how to use the humidifier, average settings, demonstrated how to change the filter, where to get the filters, etc. He was very helpful and patient. Job was completed and he was gone by about 1p.

Prompt service efficient and knowledgeable

I had a new Furnace and A/C unit installed in 2006 and we never had it cleaned. Mainly because we were afraid whoever did the work would tell us we needed costly repairs done. We purchased a special deal run by Spivey heating and cooling in June/July and even though I had assumed he wouldn't come out on our scheduled day and time due to all the rain we were having the day before and the morning of our appointment he still came out and left his card on my door and called to reschedule. Toby was very professional and worked hard to be sure he could fit us in his schedule as soon as possible based on my availability, but due my families busy summer schedules I had to schedule the appointment several weeks out until the first day my son went back to school in late August. Toby was right on time and very friendly, personable and professional. he showed me the unit and educated me on the operation and do's and don't's and why annual maintenance is so important for improved performance and longer life. We discussed my dislike for the reusable furnace filter that came with your unit that I have been so frustrated with because completely cleaning it is a frustration and headache. He explained to me how I can use a disposable filter, what size I needed to buy and how to install it correctly so it wouldn't fly around inside the unit when it is running, as well as what types of filters to stay away from due to being too dense the air could not circulate through it. I am so happy with my service that I am know calling my Spivey Heating and Air my go to for all our heating and air needs and I am referring him to all my family and friends. You can not go wrong with Sprivy!

Could not have gone better.

It went great. He showed up when he said he was going to. It turned out the unit was very dirty and he cleaned it and added frion. He was very nice, did a thorough job, and we feel like we got out moneys worth. I'll use him again in the future.
