This company is THE BEST! Within minutes of leaving a voice message, we had a return call - when we described a problem we had with our air conditioning unit, the provider ensured our pre-season system check up was done as soon as possible. (the initial scheduled time was two to three weeks out). Spivey's was professional, prompt, responsive and very qualified...they serviced our unit, answered questions and fixed the problem. Previously, we used a different company for our air & heating service - not any more. Spivey's has our business for life. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and give them top grades across the board.

All went well. Tobey called me shortly after I purchased Angie's Deal just to touch base and let me know he would schedule once the weather warmed up at bit. As spring temps climbed, Tobey called to schedule the inspection. During the inspection, Tobey explained his findings and recommendations. As the AC was close to 30 yrs old and losing freon, etc. we decided on replacement. Tobey emailed me proposals for 3 units of increasing capacity, features and price. He explained that the base model would be quite adequate and at 13 SEER was much better than the current unit (estimated at 8 SEER). I was especially grateful regarding his identifying the electrical wire hazard. After agreeing on the base unit Tobey was able to arrange his schedule, and installed the unit the following Saturday! He had help from a friend, also a small HVAC businessman. They arrived about 11 am. and finished up close to 6 pm. Excellent work; very professional; were careful not to damage foundation plants near the unit; cleaned up the area better than they found it! When testing the unit, they discovered leaks above the furnace in the delivery unit (cold air spilling out profusely!) and they sealed the leaks. Although, we are not yet using the AC, I am confident we will be pleased. If not, Tobey is available as any problems arise. I highly recommend Spivey Heating and Air Conditioning. If possible, I like to work with small business persons. Yes, they usually deal in cash/checks; however, just minimal issue for me.

I purchased with a "Big Deal" from Angie's List. Toby with Spivey contacted me promptly and worked with my schedule. He called when he was on the way, like he said he would. He was pleasant, and gave me a tip on how to maintain my a/c and prevent a problem. He also cleaned a bird's nest out of my fire place vent, eventhough it had nothing to do with my a/c. He had noticed it and told me about it. I told him it was on my list, I just didn't have the right tool on hand. He then took care of it for me. A very pleasant experience. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

It was great! He was very fast, efficient, professional and seemed like a really great guy.

After seeing his reviews, I called Mr. Spivey to get an estimate for the installation of a humidifier. He asked me some questions about the location of my furnace and water tank, and we both agreed that he should come look before scheduling installation. He came the next afternoon and explained everything I needed, showing me where and how the installation would proceed. What a nice guy! That Friday he came and installed the humidifier, then showed me how to operate it. I was very pleased with his professional manner and friendly attitude. His price was fair compared to other installers in the area. I will call him when ever I need service!

Made appointment with Toby Spivey. He was very nice and honest on phone call and in person. He arrived on time. As he worked, he explained how my system worked and what I needed to do to keep it in top shape. Very pleased that the price he quoted me on the phone was the same!

Showed up next day after I called, replaced thermostat in efficient manner, instructed me on how to use.

I got Mr. Spivey's name from Angie's List and set up an appointment with him for an estimate. We were able to enter 2 of the 4 apartments which were fairly representative of them all. Mr. Spivey's estimate was $600 less than the other estimate I received. I selected Mr. Spivey's estmate because of his good reviews on Angie's list and I probably would have selected him if his estimate had been the same or maybe a little higher than the other one. I contacted each tenant and told them I was replacing the heating and air conditioning units and to expect a call from Mr. Spivey. He worked with each tenant to secure access to their units. I did not need to be available. He completed all four units in a timely manner. I am very pleased with his work and would recommend him to my friends.

They fixed it and were very professional. They didn't charge me extra for having to come out in the evening and I thought that was nice of them. They did the best job with the work and I would recommend them to anyone.
