They were great...arrived on time and did a wonderful job. Not a leaf or twig was left on the ground and I can barely tell that a tree was ever there.

I received several bids for the job, and Peru was about half of what everyone else wanted. I had a large ash tree in the back that had died and needed to be removed. Peru scheduled me in 3 weeks from the time I contacted them, and at my request mailed insurance paperwork and workers comp certificate coverage info. They contacted me the day before saying they were coming, and arrived the next morning as promised. They had plenty of equipment and workers (5) to do the job in about 3 hours. The tree was located in a tricky spot, next to wires, a shed, etc. It was also difficult to reach because of its location on a hillside. The tree is gone and the area was left clean. What more could you ask for? By the way, I used a coupon I found on the company website for $75 off of $750. Go on the website and print one out if you plan to use them.

I called three other companies on Angie's List and they were the best bid and also did a great job. They were on time and did exactly what they said they would do.

From my neighbor whom I referred Peru's and Jesus: Jesus, the owner of Peru?s Tree Service, sent a representative out to give a bid on removal of ivy and trimming of trees and bushes near the house we had just purchased. We discussed, agreed upon a price, and I signed a contract for $1,800. We then were scheduled for the work to occur 2-3 weeks from the contract signing. When the crew came near the agreed-upon date, Jesus told my wife that he couldn?t fulfill the contract, that he needed an additional $800 (because he now disagreed with the price and the his representative no longer worked for the company). After intense discussion about how the contract was legally binding, she offered an additional $200 in exasperation; he refused, and left with the crew. I phoned him later that day, explained that I was reasonable, but that we had a binding contract, and said I was willing to pay $2000, and receive less total work than we had originally agreed upon. He then agreed to perform the job. The next day, I met him in person to execute this, but it was clear he didn?t want to perform the job, citing that the ivy was too hard to remove, among other excuses. When I reminded him that now twice we had agreed upon a contract (once on paper, and then a revision for most cost and less work, verbally), he stormed off. I had requested this work be completed before a faculty recruiting dinner we was having the weekend following, but could not find someone else within the 3 days left, leaving me fairly perturbed that Peru?s would not honor their own contracts and having waited 3 weeks for stonewalled non-completion. Needless to say, this is not acceptable behavior by any contractor. Since then I found a reliable landscaper (Allen Brothers Landscaping, 513.281.7260) who performed the job for approximately the same price as Peru?s had originally agreed to.

Everything went well. Done on time, done well. Polite, professional. Would recommend.

I called them on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013. THe receptionist said they were not there, but would return my call. THey did no call back on the 5th or the 6th. I called again late on the 6th. She said again they would return my call. They did not call back and I never did hear from them. It is now 6 days later. I had used them about a year ago and they were excellent. But I will not be able to us them in the future since they do not return by calls.

The first bush they brought was too small, so they exchanged it for a larger bush. Planting was done quickly and with no problem. Will definitely use them again.

Jesus, the owner is very professional. He gave me an estimate and every time I have a question, he would return my call right away. The price is very reasonable. They came today to cut the tree and it took them about 2 hours. They clean afterwards, removing all the limbs left in the driveway. Great experience with this company. Highly recommended!

Peru tree people showed up on time and performed their work to our satisfaction. This was our second time asking them to provide tree removal service. I thought the price of the second time was a bit high for the work involved but I did not price shop so it may have been cost appropriate for a small job. I would use them again. I would recommend them to a friend.

They were pretty good. They showed up on time and I was happy with they did. Very professional job.

It was fine. I had to pay $200 more because it was a branch on a tree that he was gonna charge $300 for. He came and checked it out and I was at work and he did the work. Everything was nice and tidy when I got home, I'm very pleased.

They had the best price and did a great job. My dad was very pleased. He got five different quotes. They came when they said the were coming, finished in one day and cleaned everything up.

Jesus and his crew did an excellent job. He told me multiple times he wanted me to be happy with the job done.And he definitely accomplished that. I called various tree companies and had trouble getting them to come out and give me a quote, yet when i called Peru's Tree Service, I received a call back within 48 hours and he came out for the estimate exactly as scheduled. His workers were very pleasant and professional. When I gave them instruction as to what needed to be done they listened and followed direction. They worked tirelessly all day. Not only did I have them cut down quite an bit but they chipped and shredded and hauled away the debris. I plan on having them come back and finish up a few things as they couldn't cut down some large crowded blue spruces until I find out from Duke Energy if there are undergound utilities in that area. Peru Tree Service definitely exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them.

Very well! They were prompt and everything was cleaned up. My daughter said they were finished by 2:00. they arrived around 8:00. There was no mess or evidence that they had even been here!

I requested that the stump be dug deeply, so that we could plant a new tree in the same spot. Work was efficient and well done. The stump grinding was very well done. Area was completely cleaned and Peru's responded quickly to my inquires.

He arrived for the appointment for an estimate on time. When I showed him what I wanted to have done, he told me that it would be much more expensive than what the coupon would do. He was professional throughout the interactions but was very, very expensive.

They were very good and nice. They cleaned up and you would not know they were here except the tree is gone. Will use them again

They did an excellent job on the major tree work. The biggest tree they took down was in our front yard. There was a smaller tree in the backyard. We spent more than what the Big Deal was for. We were pleased with the work. I would use them again for major work.
