Peru's Tree Service

About four guys armed with cordless leaf blowers swept our entire front and back clear in about an hour! Awesome!

They did fine. They did great. They were polite and prompt.

Went great. Showed up for estimate and work right on time. Gave me several options and performed all work in a professional mannor

Though they were unable to get out to do estimate for me because of my very tight timeframe and the fact that I called on a weekend, they did call me be promptly Monday morning and were very pleasant on the phone.

The team was great. Very professional and very efficient. They took care of a very large tree in a single day that I'd received other estimates for two days of work. They had to drive over part of my neighbor's yard for the removal and were very careful and considerate not to do any damage. Their work was recommended to me by a friend, and I will definitely recommend and consider them for any future needs.

Very Well. They called to tell us when they would be here and arrived on the day and the time indicated. They brought all the equipment necessary and lots of man power. One of them even waved for a photo I took as he cut down the old ash. They were professional and did the job for a very good rate.

Not well. A service worker, Steve, was willing to help, but Peru would not agree to the service and Steve would not say why. I do not live at that address any longer and would not recommend the company in any way.

This is my second time using Peru's. Work was excellent, timely, and the entire crew was very friendly, courteous, and hard working. They left the work area spotless and provided a great area for me to restore to lawn area. Very pleased and definitely would hire again and constantly refer.

For the most part the service was good. The crew was professional and worked at an efficient pace for the first few hours. Safety is the most important aspect to any job and the owner demanded that from his crew (which I highly respected). There was a difficult situation for the crew, discussing the removal of a heavy/large portion of the tree trunk. After the discussion, they returned to cutting down the tree trunk. Then the large piece of the tree trunk came down in the yard and did some damage to our deck and yard. The owner said he would return to fix it another day. After what was supposed to be a five hour job, the crew finished in seven hours. It was quite impressive to watch the crew work for the first few hours. The owner returned a few days later to fix the deck (letting himself into our locked, fenced-in backyard without permission), but did not replace the hose holder or hose that was damaged when the tree hit the deck. I understand that things like this may happen. Again safety is the primary concern. There was not an offer to take on a few dollars off the estimate or have him replace some of the damaged items. I know it is not a lot, but we had to spend an additional $40.00 for the mishaps from the company (a hose, hose holder, 80 pounds of dirt and grass seed, which was for the hole in our yard from the tree trunk hitting into it). His quote was also $500.00 more than two other quotes, but it came down to a scheduling aspect in which we went with this company. I would have given the company an A for the first few hours of their work. But the quality of work diminished after the initial part of the day, which earns a rating between a B and a C.

I am VERY pleased with the service AND the pricing. I want to commend Ethan, who was very professional and very kind from proposal to finish. I was also very impressed to find that the actual OWNER, Mr. Izquierdo was an actual WORKER on the job!! He was very kind, very open to questions and the over all experience was TOP NOTCH! The entire team was on-point! I was in awe of all of the work they did in such a short period of time. I had EVERY tree on my property trimmed of limbs. From small Mulberry trees, medium Catalpa trees, to huge Sycamore trees, workers were on the roof, climbing trees, and before I knew it, (I was home intermittently)......they were finished. I returned home, and the yard looked so much better. I felt as if I could breathe better (metaphor). They also cleaned-up all debris. Other than the trees all looking so much better, I could not even tell they had been there. I HIGHLY recommend Peru's Tree Service. They had done a similar huge job for my Aunt last year, and she was the person who recommended them. When I came to Angie's List to check out other tree service companies to read reviews, Lo and Behold....Peru's Tree Service was at the top of the list. At that point, there was no question - I had found what I was looking for. I will be calling Peru's Tree Service in the future. The work was A+++

It was awesome! We had a tree that was leaning over from a storm. It was leaning over our neighbor’s shed. This company pruned and cut some limbs and other areas off the tree. They even trimmed some other trees around the area with no extra costs. When they cut the wood, they cut them into pieces so we could use them for firewood. They cleaned all their mess up and they were very professional.

Cut all branches off 1 thorny black locust tree, leaving only the trunk as instructed; also trimmed 2 hackberry trees of branches that were overhanging my driveway, garage & patio. Removed all debris, even fallen branches from a different tree in the yard. Had used Peru Tree Service 3 yrs ago for a very large job and was happy to call them back for this job. Easy to make appointments & obtain estimate, calls were promptly returned, crew showed up when promised & pleasant, cleanup was fine. Not happy about the 3% service charge for using a credit card but consider it as hazard pay for Mr. Izquierdo because of the cantankerous & rude neighbor next door. Would recommend Peru's and would use them again.

They did a great job! They branches and chips were all cleaned up.

They were okay. I wouldn't say they were my top-rated favorite. They did the job and did give me some good advice about a beech tree that came down later. They fulfilled their service. They were completely above board and all of that. They did do a good job. I'd had never used them before. They actually come when they say. They were courteous and kind. What they told me about my beech tree did come to pass. They showed up on time and answered my call. They honored their coupon, etc. There was an issue with language. I had no problem communicating because one side of my family is not from this country. My girlfriend was here and couldn't even begin to figure out what one guy was saying.

First scheduled date was canceled when their truck was in repair shop. Locus tree was located between houses, but this was cut down and removed. Mulberry tree was significantly trimmed back. In cutting these two tree, Peru's Tree service significantly damaged our landscaping ponds which were located below the trees. The Peru crew new they had damaged the ponds as they dropped branches into the unprotected ponds--the dropped cuttings put 10 punctures and one large tear in the pond's liners. For more than 5 months (March-July), I spent hours in attempting to patch those leaks; punctures could be repaired, however, the large tear could not be fixed. Costs included patch systems, vinyl caulks, and lost chemicals and water. Finally, the ponds were rebuilt including a new $100 liner plus nominal $50 supplies.. The dead tree was left with 4 to 6 foot lengths, larger than the 2 foot specified. Peru took down a section of our fence for easier access;, it was incorrectly re-installed, which I subsequently corrected.. Finally, Peru sent me an advertising note, highlighting savings of $100, $200 et.ct if I used their service again. Peru Tree Service was more like bulls in a china shop, ignoring our property. They can't be trusted and they owe me nominal $150 for the rechless damage of our property.

When I bought the special deal, I contacted the company via email and got no response. I contacted Angies List a month after I bought the deal, and they said they would tell him to contact me. Another month passed and he didn't call. I called Angie again. Several months after the original purchase, the owner called to tell me he was in South America visiting family and would contact me when he returned. He never did. I finally contacted Angie, and after another attempt on their part to get us together, they issued a refund.

Selected Peru from bids among top-rated Angie's List vendors. Jesus and his crew arrived promptly on the scheduled day. They worked pleasantly, efficiently and professionally. I was concerned about the tree closest to the house -- not a problem! Cleanup was good -- all tree debris removed, and the remaining mud-tracks from the tracked vehicles was pretty unavoidable. The relative savings from their quote was worth my effort hosing them down. I would use them again and recommend them to friends.

Very punctual. Quoted me on 3-25-14 and performed the work on 3-26-14. Everything performed as requested. I would recommend their services.

I had purchased the tree service but when he came out and gave an estimate he wanted more than the estimate and was unwilling to wk with me on doing some of the trimmiing. I found them very unhelpful and condescending.

Jesus provided a tree removal estimate on March 13. It was excellent. I should have told him at that time I wanted Peru's Tree Service to do the work. I thought about the estimate for a day and called the next day to set an appointment. I was told that they would be able to remove the tree in the middle of next week. Jesus and his crew arrived on Thursday, March 20, about 9:30 am with a large Ford boom truck and a huge chipper. They removed the tree , chipped the smaller branches, and cleaned up after themselves in a workman like manner. By noon Peru's tree service was on to another job, I was pleased with the work will call again should the need arise.

This past summer we had them come out and removed about 7 trees. The completed the work in about one day. They were quick, fast and did what they said they were going to do. They also had great cleanup. I have even recommend to others.

Provider arrived at appointed time. Worked quickly and efficiently with no disruption. Work performed in a very professional manner and was all cleaned up upon completion.

They cut back some tree limbs that were hanging over my neighbor's garage and a couple of other dead limbs.

While I had some difficulty getting in touch with the owner to schedule the actual day for the work to be done, the work was extremely well done. The staff were professional and courteous, and the work was done very efficiently and neatly. Recommended!
