Description of Work: Perus landscaped my yard. They offered the best price and made everything work out great. Even when they found drain lines that we did not know about they took the mini crisis is stride, solved it and still completed the job on time and within budget

Description of Work: We had a large (35+ft) maple tree fall on our deck. They cut it up and removed it. Jesus Peru was up it another maple tree most of the next day trimming and carefully lowering branches to the ground. His crew cut them up and removed them. He brought in a crane to remove a tree that was leaning behind our garage(4ft diameter). Very professional and a good price.This work was done in 2009.

Description of Work: I had them cut down 4 huge elm trees which had died over the past two years. If they would have fallen they would have done a large amount of damage to our house and the house next door. I wish the workers could have removed the cut wood, but because it had a disease it could not be removed from the property. However, they did cut it into huge chunks for me. If I can get it cut into even smaller pieces and split into firewood sometime, I will have enough firewood to last a long time. But that will be another large additional expense which I can't handle at this time. I've used Peru's Tree Service several times in the past and I like them very much. They are comparatively expensive because they have to climb way up in these very tall trees. I should explain, these trees can't be reached by the "cherry-picker" truck because they are on the verge of a steep ravine right behind the house, and there is no way at all that a truck could go between the houses and get back there. I still have 2 more dead elm trees, but hopefully they will not hit any nearby structures if they should fall.

Description of Work: Gave us a couple of phone calls about time. Showed up with team of 4, on time, and did what they said. Yard cleaned up afterwards; team moved quickly and efficiently. Tailor-trimmed one tree shortening it after they asked me if it was short enough (in other words, asked me if I would like it shorter, and therefore added bit of time to their work but left me more happy as a customer). Used safety equipment appropriately - very glad to see that.

The crew showed up on time, was professional is every way and left the site in good order. I would use them again and can offer a high recommendtaion to others looking for tree services.

Description of Work: I had Peru's trim a large tree and grind out a stump in my backyard. They did a wonderful job! They left my yard cleaner than when they got there. I have had other stumps removed and the debris left behind was huge - not with these guys - I just ended up with a small, ready to seed area where the stump had been. They trimmed the tree away from my house and driveway. They also shaped the tree up. It looks fantastic. They even swept my front walk. I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: VERY DISSATISFIED!!!! Their phone number is an answering service! Called to set an appt. waited days for a return call, "he was in my area and could by now"-that was in the middle of the work day, no way for me to leave the office on a moments notice. Set an appt. for 10/30 at 4:45pm, called about 3:30 to move it to 5:00, they said someone would call me. I called again at 6:00. No one ever showed up and NO ONE HAS CALLED, as of 11/1 6:40p.m. Could not be more disgruntled. Awful, awful service. BIG black mark on Angie's list. Description of Work: Peru's Tree Service was prompt in returning my call after I purchased the special they had going thru Angie's list. They explained they would call the day before or the day they would be in the neighborhood and we did not have to be home when they did the service. They called in the morning of Oct. 20 and said they could come that afternoon if that was OK. I said yes and they came about 2PM. They had a lot of equipment to handle the job and quite a few people as well. When I went out to meet them I asked if they could also take down a hemlock tree and how much would that be. They said they could and did a good job......even rearranged the mulch where it had been so it was nice and neat. The trees look much nicer and it will be easier for my husband to cut grass now without having to duck. They even raked up leaves and left the property look very nice.
