Peru's Tree Service

Great. They come in, do the job, clean up the mess and leave. Cant ask for anything more than that. And at a great price!

They came with a crew and had a lot of good equipment. They have been very nice. I asked for logs to keep for my fireplace and they were very polite about it and cut and stacked the logs for me. I cannot say enough about this company. They are wonderful.

They provide written estimates promptly, get the work done as they said (and are always willing to do a little more that I notice as they are working) and clean up. They even sweep the street under the chipper. They have great equipment and are totally trustworthy to do the job right.

They arrived early in the morning, dropped the 2 trees, put them through the chipper and grind the stumps. They cleared the area after that. They finished up around 12:30. All I have to do is till the area and plant seed.

Purchased an "Angie's List Deal" for this company. Scheduling was very difficult. Peru explained (or made the excuse) that Angie's list was selling the coupons to people out of his service area and that was making his scheduling/logistics a hard task. It took two to three months from purchase of coupons until completion of work. Work conducted was professional and they even hauled cut up wood to my wood pile. Professionalism was adequate.

In spite of being very busy, the representative came over within a few days, looked at the trees which had to come down, and gave me a proposal right away. One of the largest (60') Ash trees was only 12 feet from the door of the house, and overhanging the structure. Of course, I was very concerned about the "what if's", but I was assured by the owner that they could take the tree down without incurring any damage to the house. After a couple days of "research" I decided to hire Peru's Tree Service, and they were able to offer me a revised proposal including a sizable discount if they remove all 4 trees, or I could still pick and choose which tree(s) to remove. I opted to remove all 4 at the same time. The crew arrived here several days later and proceeded to cut up the downed tree and remove the other 3. The entire job was done in about 21 working hours! The men were pros, they all had a great work ethic, answered all my questions, and cleaned up to the extent possible. The tree next to the house was situated in the middle of a concrete patio which was surrounded by a hedge, so some damage to the hedge was unavoidable because they also had to grind the stump down below the patio level. At my request, the stumps of the other 3 trees were left in the ground. Of course, no one can predict the future, but based on my personal experience with Peru's Tree Service I would not hesitate calling them again.

Great! They showed up did the work -- and it was really hard work in the heat! We are planning to use Peru's Tree Service again in a few more weeks. Very dedicated to getting the job done, very happy with the results. I am recommending them to my friends. Say Hi :-) to Jesus Izquierdo -- he managed the job well.

Their estimator was on time. They did the work a week ahead of schedule and did a great job cleaning up. They even trimmed a problem bush free of charge. Their five man crew did a great job.

He gave me a 900 estimate. Since then I've called three times and they haven't returned any of them. They should definitely me know if they are overwhelmed with the job. He was super nice, however.

Excellent service. They came out on Monday and did the work on Tuesday. The price was very reasonable for all they did. Even though not considered a big job by most tree services, Peru's seemed happy for the work and I appreciated that. I will use them again when needed and refer them to my friends when they need any tree work done.

We have used Peru's Tree Service several times now and they are always prompt, professional, and have fair pricing. When they are done working on our trees our yard always looks great. I was hooked when they "doctored" several of our trees severely damaged in a high wind storm. After the Peru guys were done each damaged tree looked balanced & normal again. I highly recommend Peru's Tree Service.

Both of the guys were very nice and easy to work with. It was a tight squeeze getting their large truck into my back yard, but they clearly knew what they were doing. Would gladly use them again.

About 6 men arrived the day of the work, with big equipment. They were friendly and efficient. They had safety gear such that if a ladder failed or fell, I was assured that the man would still be hanging up there, not falling and injured. While they have insurance, I was told they have never yet made a claim. In the unlikely event of an accident, the owner makes it right. This was a real concern with having the branch taken down that was over the neighbors fence. Do put out a cooler of drinks and snacks, my mom told me to, and the crew was SO appreciative! They told me that normally no one offers anything, a customer may see them getting a drink from a garden hose and still not offer even a drink of water! Sad! I was assured the equipment would not drip oil or damage the driveway/yard, and that was true. I would say don't wash your windows before they come, chipping makes dust, do the windows after the job! The owner was here for the job and had a quiet but in control personality. I can tell he respects his customers and his staff and I respect him for that. Very professinal job. Everything was done as explained, as promised. The cleanup was better than I expected, the men smoothed the ground from where the stumps were ground, and raked the leaves and twigs that were left behind. I will call them again!

Nice work, very satisfied with end result. Some phone tag back and forth since they use answering service for phone calls but once we were committed after quotation, never had problem talking with the guys and confirming appointment and day of the job.

Peru provided a detailed proposal on the work to be done. Based on their Angie's List rating, their A+ BBB rating and the low price on their proposal, I decided to use the company to do the work. Peru had an opening in their schedule and was able to do the work < 1 week after I accepted their proposal. It rained more than half the time they were doing the work yet they completed everything nicely. They did an excellent job of pruning the trees. The stumps grinding was also very thorough and they did a good job of raking up the stump grindings into smaller piles around the area where the stumps had been. They also did a good job of cleaning up - especially considering how wet it was. One minor negative with their cleanup work is that they did dump some of the debris into a neighbor's wooded lot. However I'm not sure if they realized it was not our property so, I guess, I can give them the benefit of the doubt on this issue. Overall, a very good experience using this company for the tree service we needed. I would consider using them again in the future.

Peru's Tree Service were great! I am already in contact with them for a new project. They worked like dogs. I was amazed with their efficiency, quality of the work, and their professionalism. It took them about two days to complete all of the work. They were prompt, the estimate was precise, and I was very satisfied with their work. I was so pleased that I gave them additional money for the work because they deserved more money. They were outstanding! I would recommend their services to anyone.

He was professional. He showed up on time and came on a Saturday. They had the appropriate forms in hand. I had two jobs and he put them on two separate proposals. I did not have any fault with them whatsoever. I spoke with the owner and he was very polite and professional. I liked him.

Everything looks good so far. I enjoyed that the owner was on the job doing the work himself. He came preparred, worked hard, and did a great job. They also did a great job cleaning up, including some leaf's and debris that flew in my neighbors yard. They had to take my fence apart, and they put it back together like it never happend. They are pleasant to work with, and are true to their advertisements. I received 5 estimates, and Peru's was very reasonably priced.

They were on time, they worked quickly, and they cleaned up well. The whole experience went very smoothly.

The tree removal and bushes were $1300 and the bed was $500. They were very professional and I was pleased with the work they did. I would use them again.

I found this company through Angie's List and took advantage of a Big Deal coupon ($99 for $200 worth of service. Maximum two coupons and I bought two, so this job actually cost me slightly more than $700). I was a little frustrated up front as it seemed more difficult than I would expect just getting in touch with them to provide the estimate (they rely on an answering service to page them when you call in). In any case, that was a minor inconvenience and we went ahead with the work. Their crew showed up and I discussed everything with their leader. Almost immediately, he pointed out that the magnolia that I only wanted trimmed back was a) too big for the spot where it was planted, so trimming it would only be a temporary solution, and b) that the tree was under attack from a fungus. His recommendation was for us to completely remove the tree, and grind out the stump while he had the crew and equipment onsite. That increased the pricing by $50, but we went ahead and had both trees completely removed. They completed the job in only a few hours and cleaned up thoroughly after they were done. Very happy and will use them in the future. Also, happy with Angie's Big Deal coupons as that saved me $200!

We purchased an Angie’s Big Deal paying $99 for $200 worth of work from Peru’s Tree Service. Every part of our contact with Peru’s has been impressive. Steve came to make the estimate. When he examined a large oak tree I thought would have to be removed, he told us they could remove it, but he showed us where the tree was beginning to heal itself. He thought they could trim off the dead wood and we might get another 5 to 10 years with the tree. Now how many tree service folks offer that kind of advice?! The crew showed up promptly with their bucket truck to do the work. Watching Arnold Cut branches from the bucket was better than tv. They worked quickly, cleaned up and ground all the wood and branches (leaving the chips for us at our request) and even managed to squeeze in cutting a large Norwegian Fir that had died since the estimate was made. All of this work for a very reasonable fee! We’ll call Peru’s next time we need trees trimmed!

Everything went well. I thought they were excellent. The price was reasonable.
