+ -1 moreI had some initial difficulty getting a return call. I ascribed this to the Big Deal offer that had just been offered. After a couple of phone calls and expressing my concern to the person answering the phone I received a timely return call and within a few days I had a written estimate of work. When I called to schedule the work to be done the response was quick, the work was performed professionally, and my yard was cleaner when they left then when they got there.
Description of Work: We had 2 large trees trimmed. Neither of them were accessible via a bucket truck and one of them overhangs the house.

+ -1 moreWe were extremely please with Peru's Tree Service from start to finish. Their responsiveness on the phone, quick and fair quote, and availability to complete the work were superb. The price was excellent especially with their Angie's List discount. They arrived on time and the work was performed quickly and thoroughly. And at the price we were quoted. I will most definitely use their services again and highly recommend them.
Description of Work: 2 tree stumps ground up and 2 large bush stumps ground up.

+ -1 moreCalled Peru Tree Service. Altho' busy & unable to come for about 3 weeks, he did come by & gave an estimate. He set a date for the work , called on that a.m. was prompt, did the job, & cleaned up.
Description of Work: 2 dd dead trees were cut down & removed. He had a truck equipped to reach out & up that could cut the trees down. Then he hauled them away

+ 0 moreI purchased a Big Deal in late August/early September (busy season for landscaping companies). I attempted to contact the provider by email, explaining that I was in no immediate hurry for the work to be completed and that I often worked out of town, so co-ordinating our schedules may be difficult. Late October, I was contacted by Steve. I explained my busy schedule to Steve and what I was looking for and he let me know that he could stop by for an estimate and leave it in my mail box. That worked great. I then contacted Steve to schedule the work. He and Jesus were more than willing to work with me on payment (they prefer cash/check, I preferred credit card). Since they preferred check, they worked with me, so that I could pay by check(s). They completed the job in one day. I came home from an out-of-town trip and was thoroughly impressed with my new front yard. It was awesome and looks like it will be very low-maintenance which is EXACTLY what I was looking for. In the future when I need yard/tree work done, this will be the company I choose!
Description of Work: I am very pleased with the service provided. Steve was helpful and prompt at returning phone calls and doing everything that he said he would do. My front yard looks great and the work done will make my maintenance time very minimal. This is a great small business that any Angie's List member should feel VERY confident using!

+ -1 moreOverall the experience was good even though the estimate was higher than I had anticicpated. Again as I stated before, I did not get other estimates. The company came out, were able to provide an estimate as requested. I don't feel comfortable providing grades as I did not have the work done. I did not have any contact with the company after I received the estimate. I don't know how helpful this is but....this was my experience.
Description of Work: I bought a coupon from an advertisement that I received via email from Angies List. I contacted the company and although the company made the comment that my location was far out from their area they nevertheless agreed to come to my home provide me an estimate. I opted not to hire this company because of the estimate the company provided for removing two trees from my front yard. However in all fairness to Peru's, I did not compare the estimate that Peru gave to other companies.

+ -1 moreI bought a gift certificate on Angie's list and then called for service. Peru's came to give an estimate for very simple tree pruning, and the estimate was outrageous. When I called and asked to have trimmed only what the $200.00 certificate would cover, they said they would schedule me, but never called. Two calls later, they came and trimmed two limbs for $200.00.

+ -1 moreVery good experience. They contacted me, the work was done, and they did so without us having to be home. Was a very good price compared to others, and they did not have to remove the fence. There was stump removal as well, and it looks like they did as best they could. Completely cleaned up and you could not tell they had been there except for the fact that the tree was gone. Would definitely use again.
Description of Work: Large 2 1/2 story tree removed and it was very close to the home.

+ -1 moreWe had been having trouble with squirrels getting onto our roof and then finding ways into the house near from the gutters. The exterminator who removed the squirrels advised us to have the trees trimmed back so that the squirrels would not have easy access to the roof. We purchased a Coupon from Angie's list for $200 worth of tree services for $100 from Peru's Tree Service. We had to call them a couple of times to get them to come out and give an estimate, but they did come and said that the work would cost $500. I thought that the price was high, but I really do not know the going price for this kind of thing. They did a very good job, coming at a time when no one was home and leaving the bill. The trees were cut back at all the needed spots with a nice appearance that looks very natural. There was no mess or signs in the yard that they had been here.

Description of Work: Woodruff Tree Service (513) 448-9933 Woodruff Tree Srevice I called them they said they would come the next day but they came that day this was the first time my husband met them, this was my second time they remember me they talked to my husband about the job and he said yes do it, and they began to go up on the roof took some pics before and after the branch was removed from the hole in the roof they patch the hole and also put a tarp over it first they gave my husband a estimated and he said that was great, they went out of their way to make sure that no rain would come in from the hole in the roof, buy putting a tarp over the hole the even took pics so we can see the job that they did so well we were pleased with the job and the price they told my husband so to the Woodruff Tree Service to the Foster Family we can called them a friend. so to the Woodruff Tree Service we hope to always call on them if we ever need them again or we will recommend them to our friends and family. also they make sure everything in cleaned up they ask me did the workers pthey also erformed, how lo ng did they take, they also took the blower and blew the dust off the roof

+ 2 moreOwner came to give estimate promptly after my call. Written estimate was detailed with costs. Work was done on time and neatly with good cleanup. We put our home on the market about a month later. The new curb appeal and neat appearance of the yard helped us to sell it two months later.

Description of Work: I would have liked to have used Peru's Tree Service but unfortunately I played phone tag with them most of the time. When someone did come out and give me an estimate it was sooooo extremely high that my "deal" wouldn't have made a dent in the charge. I used another tree service company that I was able to speak to directly without having to deal with a service that paged the Peru's tree personnel and had the tree service completed in a week. Plus, having to explain why I was calling every time was very poor customer service. I see my purchase is good till March. I'm hoping I can get some Spring work completed. I wonder if their prices will be more reasonable than.
