Because we are a small business, we are able to provide our customers with the flexibility, quality products, superior services, and personal attention they deserve with respect to any IT related inquiry. We pride ourselves on our ability to cater to our customers needs in a way that facilitates a positive short term relationship and a lasting long term relationship. Our friendly staff is capable of all-encompassing professional services, allowing us to address the needs of any type of customer with minimal delay and maximum quality. From our repair services to computer sales, we provide our customers with the product knowledge they need to make informed decisions that benefit their specific situation. Anything related to a customer’s IT needs can be addressed with us in one place. We enjoy providing our customers with quality services and products at fair prices. We aim to be the computer service and repair shop of choice for the Cincinnati/Tri-State area. When a customer needs to service a unit, we offer a $25 diagnostic process that allows us to investigate all the possible technical issues pertaining to the unit. Then, we provide the customer with their options related to servicing the unit, purchasing new parts for the unit, and purchasing a new or used product. This gives our customer the opportunity to weigh their options and their respective benefits pertaining to their specific situation or objective. If the customer wishes to have us service the unit, we apply that $25 diagnostic fee to their service fee. During service, we can recover, transfer, and backup data for a fee. If it is more convenient for a customer, we provide an on-site diagnostics and repair service for a fee. Monthly service contracts are available. There is also an option to purchase the RUSH diagnostics and repair service which would dramatically decrease the wait time for servicing in the shop. As stated above, our small business environment allows us to be very flexible with our customers and cater to their specific, immediate needs. When a customer wishes to replace an old unit or purchase a new or used unit, we are able to provide similarly flexible services. Our customers can chose to purchase a new unit from our store or warehouse, purchase a used unit from our store, or build their own, custom unit. Our knowledgeable associates keep the best interests of the customer in mind when recommending a particular purchase and provide the customer with all of the necessary information to make an educated purchase.

Description of Work: My PC would not even boot up due to some kind of virus or Trojan program that attacked during my grandson's surfing the internet. :( | |PC Works got the PC up and running again and transferred all my data and pictures to an external hard drive I have. They did the work quickly and were finished earlier than promised. I'll hire them again if necessary.

Once I got it back from PC Works, it worked better for a little while before failing. I called them back out to work on it. They said I needed a battery, but that didn't fix the issue. We worked remotely after this, but it still wasn't working. Overall, they weren't able to fix my computer and I ended up paying two times. I just gave up on PC Works.
Description of Work: I was having all kinds of problems with my computer.

Totally professional. no nonsense approach to customer service. I was not talked down to or intentionally confused with a bunch of technobable. I will use Eric and PC Works again and will recommend him to all of my friends and to my business.
Description of Work: My home PC just stopped working one day. It would not reboot, hum, holler at me, or give me the first beep of life on the screen. I was stuck. I called Eric and asked if there was anything besides a dignified burial that I could should or would do to fix this. He allowed as to how he probably knew what was wrong to to bring it on down. With fear and trepidation I conjured up the spirits of the now totally dead contraption and took it to Eric at PC Works. Miracle of miracles two days later he asked me to come reclaim my now working computer. When I inquired how he performed a Lazarus type rebirth of this device he told me the fan had gone out and it had died to protect itself from overheating. Bottom line is I was charged for the fan and labor. While I was there he performed some more magic and cleaned up some "items" on the hard drive such that the contraption now comes on much faster that it did before.

They came out and picked up the tower for my computer. They took care of the problem and virus. They got it working very well. They brought it back which was very nice so I didn't have to go out of my way to pick it up. They did a wonderful job on it. I would recommend their work to others.

PC Works turned a bad situation into a great experience.
Description of Work: Our computer was infected with a virus, It was a Friday and my husband was heading out of the country on Sunday. I spoke with two other computer repair companies and they could not service our computer until Tuesday or Wednesday of the next week. PC Works removed the virus, restored our information and made a back up file for us. They were able to service the computer and get it to me on the same day which was exceptional! Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable, professional, curteous and accommodating. I will definetly recommend them to friends and relatives and use them again if I have any other problems.

They were recommended to me by a friend. The first time around they tried to fix the problem and it didn’t work. It was the next day that Windows 7 was coming out, and they said that because our laptop was so new, we could get an upgrade, and that the upgrade might solve the problem. It took them a while because there was such a backlog at Dell but they were very nice. Every time I called, they apologized and assured me that they would get everything sorted out quickly. They installed Windows 7 on our laptop. I picked it up and we still couldn’t get email. I called this morning and he took control of the laptop from his office and figured out that there was one of the parental control things that we had put on that was blocking us from accessing our email. He took it off, and the email application worked. He put in quite a bit of time today to try and get it to work remotely, and it finally did. The total cost of the fix was $100, and of course, he didn’t charge me for the help he gave me today. I don’t know how their price would compare with others. They were very responsive and professional. I felt like they knew what they were doing. I would rate them highly and would use them again.
Description of Work: Our laptop was fine when we got it and then after a few days, we couldn’t get on our email. We could get on the internet and do everything but when we went to AOL mail, it would say that it was not connected. So, I took the computer to PC Works to get it fixed.
