We strongly recommend Ohio Deck Doctors. Before the repairs, our 18 y.o. deck felt “squishy” when we stepped on it. The foundation was good, but the floorboards, rail caps, and strep treads needed to be replaced. We reached out to OH Deck Doctors thru Angi and got an immediate call from them. Steve came out a few days later and performed a thorough examination of the deck and took measurements. A couple of days later, we received a quote which was reasonable and included everything we discussed. They scheduled us and showed up on the expected day, ready to start demolition. Steve and Kerry did an amazing job replacing the floorboards, rail caps and step treads. In addition, they fixed a poorly installed porch band board. The job was completed in a few days, and they did a thorough clean-up at the end of each day. The workmanship is outstanding; the deck feels solid again. At the end of the job, they gave us recommendations for care and maintenance, which were very helpful. We are extremely happy with the quality of their work, and we highly recommend them.

Steve and Kerry of Ohio Deck Doctors (West Chester) did a great job repairing and refurbishing our 9-foot-high deck. The old composite decking was damaged, the railings needed repair, one joist needed replacing, and the stairway was unsound. This team was professional, skilled, friendly, and industrious. They replaced the decking with new composite, re-did the railing, and constructed a completely new stairway. Kerry communicated with us through the entire project. I liked the careful and cost-effective way they approached the project, fixing problems and making the whole thing look new without re-doing the parts that were still sound. The guys from Ohio Deck Doctors came out and I told them that I needed the stairs replaced and I was disappointed in how the deck was done by the builder. They made some suggestions on taking up the flooring and redoing the sides and the quote was very reasonable. The workmanship was excellent and I was impressed with the finished product. I basically have a new, better deck than I had before. I highly recommend this company!
