The experience my wife and I had with Superior Property Restoration,LLC was very unpleasant. I would not recommend the company to anyone.
Description of Work: On August 6,2012 we hired Superior Property Restoration,LLC to repair damage to our home by a storm. A large tree snapped by high winds fell on our house causing significant damage. Prior to hiring the Superior Property Restoration LLC company my wife and I asked their representative if the work would be done by employees of the company and not subcontractors. The reply was that all of the workers were employed by Superior Property Restoration,LLC and would not be sub contractors. We later found this not to be the truth. The work that was started was not completed,or done poorly. The roofers put on a roof that a week later fell off in approximate ten(10) feet sections. The owner of the company Roy upon notification, subsequent inspection.and some deliberation agreed to replace the entire section of roof that was improperly installed if his company(Superior Property Restoration,LLC)could complete the project. My wife and I agreed to give the company a chance to rectify the problems on 9/20/2012. The next day workers came and worked on the roof but had to stop because of rain. The week of September 24 thru 28 no roofers returned from the company to complete the work to be done on the roof of our home. The before mentioned situation is just one of many of the problems with this company. The owner Roy was very rude and patronizing. He couldn't keep fact straight. And, He did not communicate well with his workers. Many times his workers showed up to work not knowing what their task were. We would have to instruct the workers to call the company owner for instructions.

Member are you mad because we chose not to work with you any more. This is what happenes when the customer " THINKS " hes an expert and demands thing be done that he CAN NOT PAY FOR. We had a scope of work that was generated by the insurance company and Member just couldnt understand that we were only going to do repairs that the insurance company would pay for. Every time he was presented with additional costs on items that HE HAD TO PAY FOR HE REFUSED..EXAMPLE..THE 20 YEAR OLD SKYLIGHTS. Fact is we knew from day 1 it would turn out like this. I should have not done the work and gone with my first instinct that Member is unrealistic and just didnt understand that WE DONT DO WORK FOR FREE. While we are on the subject how about paying us the roughly $19000.00 dollars that you owe us. I also find it funny that you wouldnt pay this company any money at the start of the project. So basically we ABSOLUTLE FINISHED THE APPROVED SCOPE OF WORK...YOU KNOW THE PART THAT SOMEONE IS ACTUALLY PAYING FOR! Member states he is getting a lawyer, which again I find HILARIOUS DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE A NEW ROOF, NEW PAINT, A BRAND NEW BEAUTIFUL DECK, A NEW BAY WINDOW, AND GUESS WHAT YOU HAVENT PAID A DIME? And you are getting the lawyer? I think you have that backwards. I would definately tell any Contractor to beware of Member if you want to stay in business. Member thinks that we should update his whole entire home for free. The tree hit the house, did damage so in Members mind we should paint sub fascia, repair wood that isnt damaged just because its the same area. We told him 100 times. You will have to pay it yourself, The Insurance Co does not have that in the scope of work! But as usual Member wants to dwell on things like " I am the home owner i should get what I want " Sorry Member you still have to pay for it and it works like this, If you pay for it, You get it , If you dont pay for it you DONT GET IT! And to address the communication issue every time my crews were out there you tried to get them to do things that were not in our SCOPE OF WORK SO YES YOU ARE CORRECT THEY DIDNT KNOW WABOUT IT OR WOULDNT DO IT! THATS BECAUSE YOU WOULD PAY FOR IT AND YOU JUST TOLD ANYONE WHO WOULD LISTEN TO YOU THE SAME OLD THING OVER AND OVER. Just pay your bill and we can both be on our way! Which at this point is 2 weeks late!

The entrance to the crawlspace was in the ceiling of my closet so I put a sheet over my clothes to protect them. When I got home the sheet was laying on the bed and there was insulation all over my clothes. The clothes were covered to the point where I would have to get them cleaned professionally. I spoke with Roy Payne of the company and he was a big bully. He yelled at me because I called him at 5 minutes until 5 saying that I wasn?t calling him during business hours. He told me that I should have removed the clothes and he continued to argue with me. He would not take any responsibility and tried to blame the problem on another company that didn?t even come into my home.
Description of Work: We had an infestation of raccoons in our crawlspace. This company was hired by our insurance company to seal and blow insulatation into our crawlspace to prevent any further access by the raccoons.

Member you called me at 4 am in the morning and everything you just posted is a complete lie. Fact is the company that came to your house wasnt Superior Property Restoration it was another company and Superior didnt do the work. Once again, just like you 4 am phone call , YOU HAVE YOUR COMPANIES MIXED UP. Another company also refused to work with you any longer. So the next time you decide to write an UNINFORMED comment do your homework. Last I heard Sthe other company laundered all of your clothes just to address your misguided concerns. Make sure you check back and tell everyone that your laundry was taken care of.

ALTHOUGH WE DIDN'T HIRE THEM, I WOULD CONSIDER THEM IN FUTURE WORK. RESPONSIVENESS WAS A LITTLE SLOW; DIDN'T PROVIDE QUOTE WHEN PROMISED. NOT A BIG DEAL, BUT COMPETITOR OUT PERFORMED THEM IN RESPONSIVENESS AND BID QUOTE. THEY STILL DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE IN FUTURE.
Description of Work: REPLACEMENT OF VINYL SIDING ON SECOND FLOOR OF OUR HOME. JOB NEEDED DUE TO WIND DAMAGE.
