Garage door installation went smoothly. Installer was on time and did an excellent job!

A neighbor referred me to Dave, at Scofield. Dave told me over the phone that if I could drill a ~3.25" hole in the I-beam, he could do the rest, and for a very reasonable price. I was able to get Dave scheduled during the Christmas-New Year's holidays, and the installation went very well. He calmly handled deviations from normal protocol, using his own tools to expand the I-beam hole (which I had slightly under-drilled) and re-attaching one of the door roller guide rails that had previously come loose from the ceiling. He lubed and fine-tuned everything so it sounds real nice when it opens now. He has been doing this for decades, and he really knows his stuff.

I made the arrangements with Dave to check my Mother's garage door. It had not been serviced for many years and she was having trouble getting it closed sometimes. Dave was there when he said he would be and quickly diagnosed the problem. He also assisted my Mother with an additional " handy man" issue which had nothing to do with her garage door. She was impressed with his kindness and I am grateful for his help also.

Scofield was recommended by Hoelle Maintenance and Construction,They were repairing and painting my house. Scofield came out with a catalog. I chose a door, it was ordered, I thnk it came in about a week. They installed the door, rails, connected it to the opener and took the old door away. The whole process was quick, easy and the work was done well.

Called and Paul came out to measure. Nice, friendly, and provided a very reasonable price. Glass was in a week later and installation took less than one hour. Cleaned up everything. Will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

I left the door at their store. They ordered the correct glass and installed it, then notified me when the work was done. It took about ten days.

They did a wonderful job and it was very easy to deal with. They came out and I didn't have to change my plans or schedule. They left the bill and I went by their shop and paid, it was very convenient.

This was the best service experience one could ask for. Expert workmanship and attention to detail. LE Scofield essentially remade a breezeway area which required remaking areas around some of the windows. I was impressed and greatly pleased at the result.

We accepted their bid and they stated that it would take 3 to 4 weeks to get the doors and weather stripping in from the factory. The material was received in 3 weeks and they scheduled a time on a Friday to do the work. We were under the impression that the entire job would be completed that day. However, when the installer came out, he only put up the garage door spring. We called the office and discovered that the doors were not in and that it would be another week. At the end of that week they called and scheduled a time to come out and do the rest of the work. They said the installers would be at our home at 9:30 that morning, but they arrived an hour later (after we called the office at 10:15 asking where they were). Two installers did the work but they did not finish that day and returned on Monday - late again. They finished installing the doors, after a lot of adjusting. They had to schedule another time to finish up since they needed to order different weather stripping and a lower door threshold so my wife's wheelchair would easily clear. Three days later, (late again) they returned and finished most of the job except for our front door weather stripping. This will be taken care of later. Their lack of communication left us with the impression that once they got the contract they didn't care when they finished.

I spent $5,000 on that service. They provided excellent service, very prompt and they did a good job. I was fully satisfied with them. They were very knowledgeable and left a very clean job site.

The experience was excellent. They arrived on time for the estimate, and explained their windows thoroughly and in a timely manner. They worked with me to allow me to paint existing windows prior to installation of storm windows. When I called for installation, they showed up at the agreed time and installed the storm windows. Everything went as promised, with professionalism.

I had a very good experience with them. They came out and did the job promptly and very very well. He was friendly, very cooperative and did the work quickly. The quality of the doors was good.

THEY GAVE ME A VERY REASONABLE QUOTE OVER THE PHONE. OTHER COMPANIES WERE HESITANT IN GIVING QUOTES OVER THE PHONE AND IT WAS LIKE PULLING TEETH TO GET A PRICE. THE GUY CAME OUT AND DID EXCELLENT WORK, YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL THAT THE GLASS HAS BEEN REPLACED! THEY WERE ON TIME AND WITHIN $5.00 OF THE ESTIMATE. THEY EVEN FOUND ANOTHER PROBLEM WITH A DIFFERENT WINDOW THAT WE DIDN'T EVEN SEE AND THEY TOOK CARE OF IT AS WELL.

THEY WERE FAIRLY PUNCTUAL, POLITE, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I WAS GOING TO REPLACE THE COMPLETE DOOR, $1300, BUT WAS TOLD UNIT WASN'T THAT OLD OR IN THAT OF BAD CONDITION. TOLD ME TO FIRST CHECK TO SEE IF DOOR WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THEY COULD HAVE LET ME SPEND A LOT MORE MONEY.
