Can’t say anything about if they do a good job or not, because they never showed up… First, do not try to contact them through their website, we tried that multiple times and they never responded. We were able to get in touch with someone on the phone, but they never showed up to do the job. On 8.23.24 they claimed they would be here either that day or the next. I’m including the text from them… it was the last time I heard from them. We tried to use them because a neighbor had a good experience with them, now I tell everyone to avoid them.

First of all, kimball is not a tree company. It is an answering service that subcontracts tree work. On the Kimball website it states fully liensed fully insured, and is made to look like a legitimate tree company. I hired Ethan to come out and remove 5 trees on my property. He sent a crew to my house, who cut a tree down onto my barn, cutting my barn in half. Then after him lying to my insurance agent and giving us the run around, I find out that kimball is absolutely not insured, that the company that Ethan owns is called tree force one, and that kimball is nothing more than an answering service. Not only that, but the employee then collects payment from my wife after the owner supposedly tells him not to collect payment. The most unproffesional, unsafe, and misleading company I have ever heard of. This company defrauded me and destroyed my barn and left me to pay for it.

Contacted Kimball for estimate. Would not provide specific date/time for review and estimate. When Ethan finally came out and an estimate given (May 3rd), I texted Ethan on May 11th to begin job week of May 30th. On May 30th, I texted Ethan and asked to confirm which day/time that week they would do work. Response was, "I get back in town tomorrow but I will check and let you know." Never heard from Ethan again. I hired another contractor to do the work. Communication is horrible and this outfit is NOT professional.

I would highly recommend Kimball Tree. The very day that I called for a quote, Steven, the owner, came out that afternoon. The quote he provided to me was extremely reasonable. He gave me a time and the date and his crew showed up exactly then. They did the work and cleaned up and cleared out all debris in a timely manner. Everyone wàs extremely courteous and professional. If I have more trees I would call them back. They did a great job and I would recommend them to everyone.

The tree was planted 4 feet from my house and leaned over the house. They took it down without damaging the house or anything else. The crew showed up on the day promised. They were very friendly and completely cleaned up. Excellent work. Will hire them again if I need tree taken down.

Went very well. The crew members were competent and polite. Work was done as scheduled and completed on time. I asked them to come back to touch up and area and they did it immediately. Well done!

Phenomenal service. He went far above and beyond what all the other services quoted me, and for a fraction of the cost! I seriously couldn't have had better service, I am recommending him to everybody I know.

Arrived early before I came home from work. The tree that was to removed was already cut up and in the truck. I was supposed to keep wood from the tree. Talked to the man supervising. He stated that he was not told to save the wood. There was poor communication between the estimator and the work crew. the clean up was less than I expected. Blew sawdust into the yard instead of cleaning up in the street.

Steven and his team were fantastic! They worked hard all day taking down our tree and the final result was amazing! They were able to grind the stump below ground level making it easy to fill with dirt and reseed. In addition, they were very competitive with their pricing. In fact, they were $600 less than the highest estimate! I would hire Kimball Tree in a heartbeat.

good working crew and always on time and the clean up was the best. Next time I need tree service it will be right back to Steven Kimball. He was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great! I submitted the Angie's List request around 9:00 am. Stephen called me but I didn't hear my phone. Apparently he was in the area and just drove over. He looked it over and quoted the job. We had another tree service quote a few minutes later. Both were rated A on Angie's List. Stephens price was better so we decided to go with Kimball. Stephen told me he could do it at about 5:00 PM on the same day. Since the damaged tree was on my neighbors property, we were thrilled to get such prompt service. He actually arrived early saying his other job finished earlier than expected. He brought a crew and a little front-loader with a claw attachment and they got the tree down, cut up, and hauled away in a very short time. They were careful with landscaping, raked up all the twigs and leaves both in our yard and our neighbor's yard and driveway. We were happy and so were the neighbors. We asked if they had a little extra time to remove a brush pile that had been accumulating in our backyard for several years. They gave us an acceptable quote and agreed to do it. They took that little machine back there and had it out of there in no time! We will definitely call them again and do recommend their service.

Excellent. Was quick to respond for quote request (unlike many others I requested). Was here at the agreed-upon time, did the work, and cleaned up thoroughly. Very happy with their service.

2 Pear Trees, 2 standard pine, 1 large tall pine and 3 weed like trees

Steven and the guys were awesome. Steven came out and provided as estimate at a fair and affordable cost. We discussed a schedule date, but he had a cancellation and the work was completed earlier. The guys cut down the Ash tree and trimmed some branches away from some wires. They did an excellent job and answered all my questions. I will be working with them again.
