JONA Custom Woods and Design

If you love your country or have any respect for the people who fought for it, do not support this Military hating company and owner. His name is John Tomsich and i used to come in and buy slabs off him and send customers his way when i didnt have time to do the job. He has repeatedly bashed the military as a whole and even attacked and belittled me and my service. I was medically retired after 6 years active duty air force service and according to John, i may as well be on welfare. Im Going to Post some screenshots but if you have any respect for this great nations armed forces, choose somewhere else go get your custom woodworking. Very disappointing that someone who calls themself a republican and a man of god would attack me and my military service. 22 veterans commit suicide a day, and Mr. Tomsich has made fun of my PTSD as you can see, absolutely no class. So sad and disgusting.

Great craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service

We contacted Jona Custom Woods and Design to build us a pair of under window built-in bookshelves in our office space. One of the windows had previously had a very ugly cabinet under it for which previous owners had cut away a lot of the window trim and baseboard. Bill Shoemaker came up with some effective solutions for restoring the trim on that window and also building what looked like identical under-window shelves in a room (in a 90yr old house) that was far from accurate in its window and wall measurements. We were looking for a minimal design that could fit the space and Bill worked closely to that request. He made recommendations on what would be the best wood to work with and also paint options. They were very prompt on giving us an estimate before coming out to measure the space and stayed on budget and on time with the project - completed and installed in less that 3 weeks! Bill and Michael did the install and were super nice and pleasant. We are really happy with the end result and have no hesitations recommending them to others!!

Could not have asked for a better job.

We went into the shop with ideas of what we wanted. Jona custom Woods walked us through choosing the correct types of wood that better withstand chopping with knives. Very interesting . We were also given prper care instructions as well! Their craftsman were very knowledgeable and patient. We drew up plans and dimensions until my husband and I were satisfied with the design. Jona Custom Woods and Design's sell many types of wood from around the world. We saw entire kitchen ensembles ready for installation that were absolutely gorgeous! If you can dream it Jona Custom Wood and Design can build it!
