Darren came over to the house and looked at the bathroom we needed to remodel. He made suggestions and we worked together on a plan. Darren came by several times with samples to chose from. The workers were prompt and very professional.

Darren was great. On time, made sure everything was level and secure and did everything I requested in the amount of time given.

Get an estimate from someone else and from Hoelle before you buy the "discount" package. The men were very nice and made sure to keep the mess to a minimum.

The project was complete in two weeks. Throughout the entire period, my home was left clean and without construction clutter. Everyone involved arrived early in the morning, finished the task at hand, was professional and provided quality work. Each day I was told what would be accomplished that day and what to expect the next day. There were no surprises. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the work or the entire remodeling experience.

They do exactly what they promise and precisely on time every time. Their work is outstanding. the reaction of all who have seen this work is WOW. I am so thankful I found them thanks to Angie's List. I would only use this company.

They did their usual wonderful work. They are always on time and know exactly what they are doing. I would not use anyone else.

These were both major repair jobs and they worked long and diligently to do a fine job. They showed up on time, did their work and cleaned up after themselves. They worked beyond their Angie's List contract, but did not add any further charges. (I forget the contract amount.)

This was the 2nd bathroom they did for me. Even more beautiful than the 1st. The detail and quality 1st class. They are so knowledgeable and professional. There is never a worry. I wouldn't have anyone else.

I hired Hoelle Construction to make a few repairs to the exterior of my house. They returned my initial phone call promptly, made an appointment to come out and estimate the work. Everyone was very professional. Everything was cleaned up once the work was complete

This was a horrible experience. The work started around August 13, 2012 and due to poor workmanship and quality of work they did not finish until late September. Darren Hoelle does not have the knowledge needed to do this type of work. He hires contractors to do the work and does not supervise them or rate the quality of their work. The first thing that went wrong was when they hung a swing door between my husband's office and the kitchen. They hung the door upside down. Also, the hinges used were the incorrect hinges and they kept breaking. My husband, who knows nothing about construction, had to get on line and show Darren Hoelle the correct hinges to buy. Darren's response to this and other complaints about the cheap materials being used was that he relied on his supplier to give him the materials needed. Darren also removed a custom solid hardwood door from the master bedroom to REPAIR it and instead replaced it with a cheap pine door. When they hung this door, they once again hung it upside down. The door had to be replaced. Instead of getting us a better quality door, which we wanted, he replaced it with the exact model which we had compained about being too cheap and of poor quality. The painting was a nightmare. The painter was more concerned about his trip to Florida than doing a good job. All of the painting had to be redone because we could see the former yellow paint under the new white paint, as well as many places which were totally missed. The painter also got paint on a coat hanging in the closet. The painter did not do any prep work on the brick wall in the foyer before he painted it. He painted over the dust and dirt. YIKES! Even I know better than that and I'm not a "professional". The only work that Hoelle Construction did that was acceptable was the installation of the baseboard and half round because the two men doing the work knew what they were doing, not Darren Hoelle. This was another area where Darren Hoelle did not have the correct materials because of his lack of knowledge and experience. NEVER again will these people work in our home.

They couldn’t schedule me in the timeframe I was looking for. I canceled and got a refund for the deal. They were very busy.

The work went better than expected and I was very pleased. Darren showed up on time and provided a detailed quote when promised. His crew was here for three days and each day they arrived on time, told me what they were going to do and were very clean and professional. The job took longer than originally estimated but the crew was here everyday until it was finished. I am very pleased with all the work done and the professionalism of everyone I met. I would definitely use them again.

They responded to my initial call within 30 minutes and scheduled the work within a few days. They were very professional, had a great attitude and did excellent work. They were happy to do even the smallest task . I will definitely use them again.

He is very quick to respond to my calls. He is very trustworthy. He will not start the job until he has all material gathered ahead of time; so he does not have to run here and there during the project.

The overall experience was a good one.

I couldn't be happier of Darren and his team. They were very punctual and professional, had great attention to detail and exceeded my expectation of the work performed. The price was reasonable and the craftsmanship was top notch. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I had a wooden deck of many years that I wanted to replace with the new type of decking material from TimberTech. I knew it would be costly but thought the investment would be worth it. I first reviewed and research the many type of decking materials and narrowed it down to a company called TimberTech. I then called 2 contractors that dealt only with TimberTech. Both estimates were very close so the price was irrelevant at this point in choosing the contractor. I had talked with Daren Hoelle 2 years ago at the Home & Garden Show and gave him the job. Darren is very down to earth and doesn't assume anything with checking if not sure of a product working with each other. We installed the "Evolution of TimberTeck and the balusters from another company. It turned out beautifully. Darren and his 2 employees spent first day leveling and squaring the original deck before starting. Many framing boards replaced. This was extra but wouldn't had it any other way. Starting with a level and squared deck makes all the difference in the world. Darren was easy to work with and had suggestions that I could relate and befefit from. I plan on using Hoelle Construction in the future if needed. Niced Job. Dave

I would highly recommend Hoelle Construction to anyone who is looking for some remodeling work or new construction. The entire experience was pleasant. I first contacted Darren after looking for a contractor on Angie's List. I contacted 2 other companies for estimates also. Darren called me back right away we set up an appointment to go over the scope of the job. The other 2 companies got back to me almost 2 weeks later! Since I have never gone through this process before Darren explain how it would work. Estimates came in and he worked with me to stay in my budget. He recommended only quality materials and gave guidance when asked about best options for what would work best for my home and situation. The companies & people he sent me to for product selection were also very knowledgeable, helpful and took their time with me to explain the product and are top notch. I was given samples & booklets to help me in my decision making. They answered all my questions and got back to me right away. They made me feel very comfortable in what can be an over whelming process. Once the quoting phase and product selection was completed the real work began. The time line of the project was well planned to minimize the disruption in my home and my life. Darren's crew is talented and very skilled in their trade, true professionals. The other contractors used for installing product his company didn't were equally as good. I was told from the very beginning of the project about the other installers. There was no surprise when someone else showed up at my home. Even though his crew was not performing the counter install or carpet install Darren over saw every bit of the work being done. My Dad is retired and would stop by just to see the progress and "check out" what was going on. He is very critical and hard to please but could only find positive things to say about the work they did in my house. I could not be happier with the outcome of all the work performed. From the first contact through the last day of construction the project was on track, on time and I was kept informed every step of the way. They showed up on time finished the work they said would be done that day and cleaned up every time. I have a beautiful new space that I can enjoy for many years to come. I will be using them in the future for any other projects that I need done. If you want top notch work done by professionals then you should consider using Hoelle Construction for your projects.

Only family and friends could rate Hoelle Construction as high as it is rated. Darren likes to argue and blame everyone else, when things, he is responsible for, go wrong. What was supposed to be a 2-3 week project turned into almost 6 weeks. He stained the wood work completely wrong and blamed the wood for being difficult to stain. He charged an extra $1000 to change wood type. When he omitted putting in recessed soap dishes he accused me of not stating I wanted them but they were written in the contract. Evidently, he doesn't read the contract before starting a job. Needless to say, this was a most unpleasant experience. I would not recommend him to anyone...buyer beware.

Darren and his crew are terrific. Reliable, pleasant, knowledgeable, careful. From the moment they were contacted until they completed the last task on our list they were professional. And, frankly, I was not as organized as I should have been and we have troublemaking pets and despite this they were great. What they do well: -communicate quickly and clearly -show up when they say they will -stay in touch about and during job -flexible when modifications need to be made to plan -quote each job sensibly and clearly -do the work exactly as desired -clean up after themselves They were very nice throughout even though the work we needed done was probably not as creative or fun as other jobs and answered any questions we had and helped us figure out what to do in certain situations We will happily have them back.

Left a message with Darren describing the problem and he contacted me next day and was able to price it over the phone. The price was resonable and convinced me that it was an easy and quick fix. I approved the work and someone on his staff went out next day to complete the job without me even being there. Darren responded quickly and was courteous in my dealings with him. The work was completed as agreed and price was as originally estimated...no surprises. Very pleased and have another job in the making for him.

The guy’s name is Darren Hoelle. I’ve been quite happy with them. I haven’t yet received a bill from them. The first time when I used them three months ago, they charged me just about $500. It will take them a week to send the bill out to me for the recent service. They are pretty professional and they do a good job. Their price may be a little bit on the higher side but it’s worth not having to have someone to deal with it in an unprofessional manner. They are pretty good and I was happy with them. They are not the cheapest in terms of price. They did a really good job. I had to leave a message on the answering service and then they got back to me. They came on time. They were very good with professionalism. I will use their services again in the future.
