Ben Haubner and his crew did a great job on my roof replacement. Ben was easy to work with - I felt comfortable from the beginning to the end of the project. He made some suggestions regarding color of shingles and metal work and it looks great! Would definitely recommend Haubner construction.

Update: The business owner apologized quickly and ensured that measures have been taken so the issue would not happen again and sent a gift card. They responded right away and came out the next day, which was great! But the guy went up in the attic and pulled back the insulation and determined the water spot on the ceiling was from mouse urine and that I didn't have a roof leak. I had another company scheduled for the next day that I almost cancelled, But SO glad I didn't! The guy was on the roof just a couple of minutes and took photos to show me the two popped nails he found. It was clear from the photos of the rusted nails and the old damage to the roof shingles from them coming through that they had been there like that for quite awhile. They were also COMPLETELY obvious! The rusty nails were a contrasting color to the roof and sticking above the surface. If I had been able to look up there before the roofers came out, I could have easily seen them. The guy from Haubner did briefly go on the roof the day before and I have NO idea how he could have missed them. The water was following the nail through the roof and had likely been dripping off the end of the nail. So there wasn't any watermarks on the underside of the roof. The insulation wasn't wet at the time of the inspection because it hadn't been raining much. The guy from L&W that found the nails was able to fix them (& a boot around a roof vent pipe) the same day and it only took him 30 min. from time of arrival to when he was leaving. And he said he had been roofing for decades and had never seen mouse urine cause a single, large liquid stain on a ceiling in all those years, and the only urine issue he had seen was in an old farm house and it was multiple spots on the ceiling from raccoons that were clearly living up there a long time.

Great finished in the time Ben quoted and cleaned the area in professional manner. I would have Ben and crew do more jobs for me.

they came out on a Saturday to look at problem, determine a solution and provide free estimate. Found type of existing vent for bath exhaust installed on semi-flat roof they had seen problems with in past. Repair went great; they replaced with proper vent for type of roof. There were two vents replaced. They put down IceDam and sealant around area. While under roof I had them replace duct to the vent and also added plywood to allow me to access attic area easier. Also some added insulation in an area that had been damaged. Ben was easy to work with, knowledgeable, fit this small project into a busy schedule so he had a warm winter day to do roofing.
