+ -1 moreJust stay away from Equity Resources and CallEquity. I had almost used me and am now glad I went elsewhere for e loan on our new home. Use someone local when you want a home loan.
Description of Work: Appraised our home for our buyer's lender. I see now that it is owned or affiliated by the brokerage mortgage firm my buyer was using. Fortunately I had an appraisal done myself so I knew what our house was worth. This appraiser was not familiar with the neighborhood, was in the house less than 10 minutes, and I doubt had many years of experience. He under appraised our home by a substantial amount, gave no credit to all the work we had done in our home, and basically compared our home to places that had gone into estate or foreclosure and were flipped. In other words, he didn't do his due diligence. Then he verbally discredited our appraiser who has 35 years in this business. This is not sour grapes. Our buyer has gone to another lender and the sale is taking place.

+ -1 moreAFTER OUR LAST EXPERIENCE, WE WERE LEARY ABOUT TRYING AGAIN. SHE TOOK ALL THE INFORMATION AND TOLD US SHE WOULD CALL US WHEN SHE HEARD. IT WAS ABOUT A WEEK LATER, SHE CALLED AND SAID WE WERE CLOSING IN THREE DAYS. THEY WERE THE BEST COMPANY WE HAVE EVER WORKED WITH.
Description of Work: WE WANTED TO FIND A COMPANY TO REFINANCE OUR HOUSE. EQUITY RESOUCES SENT A PAER IN THE MAIL AND WE CALLED. THEY TOOK INFORMATION AND SAID THEY WOULD CALL.
