+ -1 moreMr. Dowling came to the house to measure. He was friendly and accurate. We notified him when we had selected our carpet and vinyl flooring, paid for the materials, and arranged an installation time with him. He came on the agreed-upon day with his son-in-law. Both of them worked hard, without stopping, for the full two days. They were neat and professional but friendly, doing many small things that went the extra mile. E.g., cementing down a threshhold that had come unglued, doubling the tack strip at the carpet edges, providing a plywood underlayment to make the bathroom vinyl level, putting screws in the bedroom floor to fix sqeaks, watching out for the cat... They cleaned up very well at the end of the job. Their final bill was exactly as estimated at the start of the process. Mr. Dowling has opened a new store at 408 Main in Hamilton, Ohio. I wish him all the best and recommend that others use his company.ly,
Description of Work: Mr. Dowling purchased and installed vinyl flooring for our bathroom. He also purchased and installed carpeting and pad in our stairs, hall, master bedroom and closet spaces. Additionally, he put quarter round around the perimiter of our kitchen where the vinyl, installed several years ago, had curled.
