I had a place where the stucco board on the exterior of the house became wet and bubbled. I couldn't find stucco board to match. Carlos Mendoza (owner of Classic Painters) told me that he could fix it so that I could never tell. He had to remove a section of the stucco board and the plywood that was under it because it was rotted from water damage. He replaced it with plywood and then concrete board. He then put a stucco like material over the concrete board and matched the pattern from the other stucco boards exactly. I didn't think he could do it, but it's impossible to tell where the repair was done. He took paint samples (trim boards were dark, stucco board was light) and got matching paint. When he had it all back together, you could not tell where the repair had been made. I'm very picky and I couldn't tell - it was amazing. He recaulked everything and it's as good as new. I then asked him to paint two interior rooms (one of which is about 16' high). He gave it two coats of paint - it looks perfect. The lines are clean and perfectly straight. In the process, he repaired two 3" x 5" holes in the drywall where speakers had been. You couldn't tell the holes were ever there - it was perfect (and I checked it with a bright light reflecting off the wall surface). So, the quality of the workmanship is excellent. But also, he showed up when he told me that he would, he worked hard the entire time, and cleaned up spotlessly when he was finished. I highly recommend him. He does repairs, stucco, drywall patching, painting, odd jobs, etc. I've been looking for some time to find someone what is dependable, with excellent skills to do repairs and projects, for a reasonable cost in a timely fashion, and now I've found him. You will not be disappointed with Carlos.
