Description of Work: We had an extremely large oak in our back yard taken down & the stump ground. When I was quoted, I was told that they would leave 18" pieces for us to use as fire wood. It was not explained clearly that they meant "anything that isn't the trunk will be cut into 18" long segments." We were at work while the job was done, so we didn't see the aftermath until the next day due to it being dark by the time we got home. Some of the branches on our oak were so huge, they were probably 2' in diameter, but were cut into 18" "pieces." There is no way we could have handled the amount of wood & debris left over by ourselves, it was just too much & too heavy. I called back and explained that I wasn't aware based on the quote that this was the condition our yard would be left in. Our lawn was pretty messed up too, because of the trucks & equipment used. Instead of letting us know the yard was a mess, I had to call and complain about it. We had very deep tire treads all through our yard, front and back. Our neighbor's driveway was covered in mud from the trucks, so we had to pressure wash his driveway twice for him to get everything cleaned off. Brown's eventually came back to our house and hauled away the unmanageable pieces & put down some top soil and hay on our lawn. There are still tire treads that weren't tended to, and we are hoping those fill out on their own when the grass starts to grow in the spring. Overall, the job we asked to have done was completed, so I give them a B. I would have preferred not to have to deal with all of the hassle of calls and cleaning up after the job on our neighbor's property. We would probably use them again because their prices were half what other tree companies quoted us, but I will be sure to be crystal clear with them on expectations & what the quote entails. Lesson learned on our part.

Description of Work: Took down 18 mature Ash trees, removed stumps, cleaned up all branch's and debris. Was told they would start at 8:30 a.m. and they arrived right on time. The job was completed approximately at 3:00 p.m..

Description of Work: I called this company twice within a week and left a message with them that I wanted an estimate on removing a tree and some shrub removal. They have not given me the courtesy of returning my call. I had used this company about 2 or 3 years ago to remove a tree on a property my son purchased and I was very pleased with them at that time.

Description of Work: They removed 7 small trees and 5 large trees, ground the stumps, and cut up wood and left it stacked (we wanted to keep it). Most of these trees were on a steep hill.

Description of Work: We have a soft maple in the back yard that need topped, as branches over the house .Also a oak on the side yard needed the dead wood taken out.

Description of Work: I had an old oak tree about 85 feet tall and 40" in diameter that split during a windstorm. Half of the tree landed on my neighbor's garage and the other half was leaning toward my house. They removed the tree and the wood.
