We needed interior shutters to fit different kinds of windows in an old house. The task required creative solutions to solve problems with old windows and fit the shutters on casement windows without interfering with the mechanisms. The Blinds Etc personnel were knowledgeable and skilled, they had confidence they could do the job, and the shutters fit perfectly. The product is excellent and the service was impeccable. We liked the shutters so much, we had them come back and install shutters in two additional rooms. Highly recommended.

We recently got new windows for our home, we needed new window treatments and ended up buying shutters for the front of our house and new blinds for several rooms. We LOVE our new shutters, they are beautiful and the quality is great too. The blinds are also very pretty. Scott was very easy to work with and had good advice. We could not have had a better company take care of our needs. We actually had them come back and add 2 more windows and the other 11. Look great and the price was very reasonable. Quick turnaround after measure and order too.

I cannot say enough good things about The Lougheed brothers! Scott provided the initial estimate. Through the whole process he was informative and a master communicator. We had some existing window blinds and wanted to match these with blinds on additional windows. Scott knows his product line and selected a fabulous match at a great price. He told me how long the order would take and, no surprises, blinds came in, installation by his brother was scheduled, and we have a houseful of great looking, functional window blinds. I was dithering about what to use in the bedroom: my husband wants all light blocked at night, but I don't like the look honeycomb shades. Scott advised us and he was absolutely on target. What a pleasure to work with professionals!

It was wonderful. The owner, Scott, did the proposal. His brother, Mike, came out and put them all up in one day! He was a true gentleman. He forgot to put up one of the valences in our living room and called himself to come put it up the next day.

Beautiful blinds at a great price. We needed blinds for every window in our newly constructed house. Scott came out and measured all windows. He brought samples and color choices. His brother Mike came a few weeks later to install the blinds. Everything went flawlessly and the blinds look great. Scott and Mike were wonderful to work with and truly some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Initially I had planned to buy and install skylight shades myself, but the step ladder that I have wasn't quite tall enough for a safe installation (the mounting position for these shades is around 14 feet off the floor). I had contacted 5 or so companies regarding skylight shades and the selection process stretched over a month or more. Blinds, etc. was one of 3 that I invited to come to my home and one of 2 that actually got up on a ladder and precisely measured each of the 5 skylight openings. A few days after taking the measurement, I received their quote. I was a bit dismayed because it was somewhat higher than the quote I had received from another company for the exact same shades (including installation). However, rather than blindly going on price, I decided to go with Blinds, etc. for other reasons. Over the course of several emails and a phone call or two and, of course, their visit to my home to measure, I developed a high level of confidence in their knowledge and ability to do a good job for me (I didn't have this feeling about the other company). So I spent a little more and went with Blinds, etc. It took several weeks for the blinds to arrive and then we set up a time for Scott and Mike to come out and install them. They were here about 3 hours for the installation and conducted themselves in a professional manner, including explaining some of what they were doing and answering some questions. The only hitch (if you can call it that) was that during installation of the first shade, there was a small plastic piece that broke off of the shade frame. It still works but Scott promised to order a new part and come back out and install it. He also advised that, had I installed my own shades and something broke, it would not have been covered under warranty. So, bottom line, I am very happy with Blinds, etc. They were responsive, knowledgeable, handy, and professional and did a great job with my skylight shades. I'd use them again.

We could not be more pleased with the overall service provided by Scott and the Blinds Etc. team. Through the whole process, they were friendly, cooperative, and very efficient in completing the work. They provided high value for a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend them to others.

They came out to show me all of the samples. They were very friendly. They were hard workers. The project turned out nicely.

My girlfriend had used them before. They are top notch.The owner comes out an does the quote. Then the brother comes out an does the installation.

I selected blinds etc based on other Angie reviews and I could not be more pleased. From start to finish they were attentive, knowledgable and reliable. My call was returned immediately and a visit was made to my house with samples of what I found to be a perfect fit for some honeycomb shades that would help block heat in my sunroom. I was really leery of covering up my view but the blinds not only let light in but are very attractive and blend seamlessly, yet add a little character at the same time. (They were not the cheapest option but I inherited enough cheap string pull blinds with the home to know I wasn't going that route again. ). Installation was exactly when promised and was done quickly and perfectly. It feels strange to leave such a glowing review because I'm a tough customer but they really deserve it.

IF, you are interested in quality materials and high quality service , this is the organization you want. We were not surprised with the final installation and the overall appearance ......absolustely what we wanted...Everything was done on the time schedule that was established and the installatiion was done in a very professional and friendly manner... YES, I would have them again .

The blinds fit great and are the color we ordered. Scott and Mike made it easy - they came to the house with samples and provided recommendations. Even when one of the blinds came in the wrong size, they ordered the correct blind that day and worked around my schedule to install the replacement. They were personable and wanted to make sure they had completed the job to our satisfaction - their recovery when the one blind was wrong was exactly what you would expect. We did not have to make payment until it was complete. We thought they were easy to work with, the blinds are good quality and work great - we had one corded blind and the others are cordless. We would definitely call Scott and Mike again.

We wanted to replace the vertical blinds over our french door to the patio with smaller blinds over the window only. Scott from Blinds Etc. came out on schedule, helped us pick out the type and color we wanted. We ended up selecting the 1 he recommended. The price was fine. No 'give away' but definitely competitive with others AND with online vendors. He estaimeted 3-4 week delivery....but only took 2 weeks to get them. His brother came out on schedule and did a nice job installing them on our wood patio doors. We're very pleased and will use them again as well as recommend them to family and friends.

The co. - Blinds Etc. was our third and best estimate for hunter-douglas double-cell pleated shades for our newer home. The owner came out, measured every single window, explained differences in shades, went over color schemes with us, and took his time and was very thorough. He explained they would take 2-3 weeks to fill the order from the factory, and another week to install. In total about 3 weeks from start to finish. He upgraded us in our shades to ones that do not have any cords - as we have little grandchildren running around our home - so his upgrade was available from hunter-douglas for NO extra charge. We're extremely pleased with the product, the company, their professionalism... I'd definitely recommend them to friends and family - their work is great.

We got plantation shutters installed in our 112 year old house. I was worried that when they did the install they would run into issues as the house has shifted throughout the years, but they measured everything perfectly and there were no issues at all. They even shaved some of the shutters so that they would fit our window frames. The shutters are beautiful and add a lot of value to the house. I would definitely use Blinds etc. again.

We had some problems with the blinds in the master bedroom as they were the wrong color and there was a problem with the middle two windows as the blinds were catching on the latches. We also didn't like the placement of the pulls. Blinds etc. offered to replace the blinds in the master bedroom and replace the pulls so that they pull from the bottom of the blinds. Due to delays by the supplier, Blinds etc. couldn't replace the blinds for nearly 3 months, but all is well, and we are very pleased. Both Scott and Mike (the installer) were helpful, and we appreciate their willingness to make us satisfied customers.

Scott installed the blinds for our entire house 12 years ago when it was built and has provided us with excellent service on any repairs and replacements for our blinds. Scott has been wonderful to work with all of these years and he is the first one we call when we need any service for our blinds.

I would highly recommend Blinds Etc. From working with Scott on finding the right product for us, to having them installed by his brother, we were extremely happy with our overall experience. Both men are extremely friendly and easy to work with. Scott knows the products very well and was able to guide us on what would work for our particular windows, with the style of our home, etc. The finished product is beautiful. They allow light, visibility in but are easily shut when needed. They were a little bit more expensive than what I originally wanted to spend, but after researching other options (drapes, Roman shades), these shutters were the best option and now that they are installed, we are so happy we chose them.

Very professional presentation. Product was available for installation by the estimated date. Due to an unrelated problem, I delayed installation. Blinds were installed the first business day after my request and installation was amazing. Quick, neat. and very professional. It was a real pleasure doing business with Scott. I appreciated that he presented the estimate prepared the order and he installed the blinds. I would say overall, doing business with Blinds, Etc. exceeded my expectations.
