Waited a year did all the math showed zero savings whatsoever. Reached out in December 2019 after receiving my November 2019 utility statements and proved no savings. Naturally they never called back or e-mailed it was radio silence. Gave them 2 weeks and filed another BBB complaint in December 2019 to get my 25% reimbursed back to me of what I should have saved, $692. They responded to the BBB claim in early January to inform me they were apparently on a skeleton crew for the holidays and claimed to have told me that (they didn’t, how could they? They don’t respond.) and gave me the cfo’s e-mail to send all my utility statements to. Finally get things moving after several no shows they sent out a tech end of January 2020 to review everything per the agreement, never touched just like it was first installed. He took pictures and said everything looked as intended. (They lied and told him I had electric work or duct work done so he had to verify the system was still in place. No work was done no one had been in the attic since they installed the system) He had forms to hand copy all my utility statements even though I e-mailed everything at the beginning of January. Was told 30-45 days and I’d have my reimbursement. Fast forward past the deadline several more ignored e-mails and phone calls, on March 4th I’m told in writing my refund status was “in process” I’m told my bills were in the wrong format since they weren’t the original paper bills so they had to reach out to get the originals. (The tech never took the bills that I had printed only copied usage and cost, so apparently they switched to my e-mailed ones from months prior that are .pdfs of what a paper bill would be, I’ve never received paper bills no where in any of the paperwork is that a requirement.) Anyways they claim the delay was getting the “originals” which is illegal they can’t request copies from your utilities unless you give the utility permission, I reached out to my utilities (DP&L, Vectren, they were never contacted). After asking about this new requirement radio silence again and has been since since March 10th. Shortly after the e-mail address for the cfo americanhomeenergyalliance.cfo@gmail.com stopped receiving e-mails with this message from google (Recipient inbox full Your message couldn't be delivered to americanhomeenergyalliance.cfo@gmail.com. Their inbox is full, or it's getting too much mail right now.) So I’d call and leave voicemails twice a month asking for a call back and use their general e-mail to try and get a response. The one nice thing is I did end up getting their BBB accreditation revoked since they never responded to them either. Today June 8th 2020 I got this response from an unnamed individual: “You filed your complaint with BBB before the matter could even be resolved sir, the company is being taken over by another franchise due to owner passing away. Thank you and hope they can help you further in this matter.” Not sure what me filing the complaint has to do with anything since I only did that since they didn’t respond. I went from being told refund was “in process” on March 4th to you didn’t let us resolve the issue before filing with the BBB on June 8th and by the way we’re being sold good luck. Clearly they never had any intentions of honoring the 25% money back guarantee that I have in writing or resolving any issues that I had. Not sure what my next move will be.

Fine, until they got my final payment, then all communication stopped, and additional products I had been promised were never delivered. Also, their money-savings "guarantee" turns out to have been grossly overstated.

As of 2/13/2019 I have yet to receive my coupon book, warranty, fuel pledge and $50 gift card. It has been 1 month since filling a complaint with the BBB to which they have also yet to respond to. On 11-28-2018 they came out and performed the work. The installers told us that the next day or so one of the people that did the installation would be back out to inspect the work. That inspection never happened. It was also agreed upon that we would receive 6 surge procectors they left two. After calling and e-mailing I got no response. So I reached out to the salesman and after speaking with him (Russ BelI) I finally received a text from 513-693-0070 on 12/4/18 never said who they were but said I would receive the surge protectors, warranty, fuel pledge and coupon book on 12/6. On the 6th at some point during the day someone came out and put the surge protectors behind a Christmas decoration on our porch, everything else was still missing. Thinking they might come in the mail I waited a few days and nothing. I reached back out on the 12/9 asking about the coupon book, warranty and fuel pledge, the person got back to me on 12-11-18 and seemed shocked that she (whoever that is) did not leave a note and assured my that it would get sent to me that week. 12-21-18 I reached back out wondering where everything was since it shouldn't take a week to get mail from Cincinnati to Dayton. The response was they would check that morning as soon as they got to the office. On 12-27-18 I reached back out having heard nothing and also inquired about the $50 gift card just for accepting the free home audit that they were supposed to provide. I was told that everything was getting mailed that day and that they had left me a voicemail and never realized that it wasn't me. It was in that text that it was first revealed that it typically takes 4-6 weeks after everything has been completed and we have received all our owed items before they mail out the gift cards but they put a rush on everything for me. On 1-7-19 I reached out asking where everything was since I was assured everything was mailed with a rush put on it and still had not received anything. The response was I should have received it and that they'd be back in the office on the 10th and put in a call and e-mail requesting my information to get me my paperwork. On 1-10-19 I inquired if anything was found out. On 1-11-19 they said they would be up this way for installs on Saturday and Monday and if they could drop them off so we'd no longer have to wait. I said that was fine. 1-12-19 texted that installs were called off due to weather and that if they happened to be back to work they would be up here today the 14th. It is now 5:30 pm on Monday and I haven't heard a thing. All of the back and forth is via text so it's all in writing. It was on this day after giving them two months of back and forth that I filed my complaint with the BBB.
