Rocky showed up for the first appointment, told us the part that was bad on the water heater wasnt made anymore and that water heater would have to be replaced. we were quoted $450 ($100 deductible, $100 upgrade charge, $150 for permit, and $100 for removal of old unit). He told us we had to pay everything up front for claim to get processed so we paid the full $450 on 7/16/18. Between him and the warranty company it took 3 weeks for the new water heater to get delivered to the pickup location (I had to do 90% of the work with the warranty company, calling and following up every other day to make sure the process was moving) - when his sub-contractors went to pick up on 8/7/18, the warranty company hadn't given authorization for them to pick up so I had to call HMS and get everthing straightened out. After that Rocky kept giving me the run around, kept saying he'd try to fit us in, on the evening of 8/9 he flat out told us he was too busy catching up on other work to get to us before 8/13 so he gave us appointment of 8/13/18 @ 9a. Haven't heard from this guy since. He never showed up for our 8/13 appointment and won't return calls or text message. I had to have the warranty company reassign the claim to a different company. Then I found out he was never supposed to charge me anything other than the deductible up front until the work was done and when I contacted the city of Columbus to inquire about permits/inspections, I found out he charged me double for the required permits.

Unclogged the basement drain with his snake but can't get him to fix the broken basement step. Several promises over the last 6 months to have the step repaired by a contractor friend or do the work himself but nothing has ever happened. No longer will return phone calls to fix what he promised to repair. Very disappointed with promised follow up.

Rooster Man plumbing did a great job. They were punctual and clean. He quoted me the cost up front so no "surprises" when he handed me the invoice.
