PRO SWEEP CHIMNEY SERVICE

Pro Sweep Chimney was amazing! I had been having problems with moisture around the chimney on the second floor of our German Village house. Dennis came out within about 1 week from my call and assessed that some things had not been done properly in rebuilding the chimney, which prevented the exhaust from the furnace and water heater from actually venting out of the chimney, plus we needed a flue liner. He took the extra time and work to remove all the obstructions and install the flue liner and cap we desperately needed. He was on time, fair on price, explained everything he uncovered, knowledgeable and comfortable working with our 120 year old home and was generally great to work with! Highly recommend!

Dennis Jacob installed a new fireplace insert to replace an existing insert by the same manufacturer (Lopi). He also installed a new flue liner and repaired the chimney cap. They removed the old insert and put it in my truck. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the company and the quality of the work. I got one other estimate, and Pro Sweep was considerably less. It was a dirty job, but they cleaned up the mess so that the area was as clean as when they started. Dennis was also willing to explain what he was doing as he worked. When the basic work on the stove installation was done, Dennis found that one of the fire bricks in the stove was broken. Also, he did not have the wire for the chimney cap repair. We agreed that I would pay only part of the bill until the brick was replaced and the work on the chimney cap was completed. They returned later to replace the brick and complete the chimney cap repair. I am very pleased with the result and recommend them highly.

We had an emergency situation regarding our chimney and they went above and beyond to help us rectify our issues. We needed make sure there were no more animals in our chimney prior to having chimney restoration done in the next few days...they checked for animals and secured the chimney for us. This allowed us to maintain our schedule with the restoration of our chimney. They were pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable and we will definitely use them again in the future.

They were great. I was able to get same day service shortly after calling. They were polite, quick, and explained things to me as they worked. They came and took apart the flue, inspected it, and then sealed off some connections to help ventilation.

Everything went well. We had to change the type of tile for the hearth and around the new unit, but it all came out beautiful! These folks did a professional and well done job!

The cost was because of the distance between the water heater and my chimney.

They were very nice and it was a pretty reasonable price. I was pleased with the outcome. They offered to come back out if necessary when I was getting the gas turned back on if I needed assistance.

Inspection went well. The technician that came out (Dennis) and did a thorough inspection and was very great about explaining everything that should be fixed to maintain the integrity of the structure. I was disappointed with the cost, however. When I called to inquire about the price, I was told that there was no surcharge to come out to Marysville (they are located in Grove City). That was one of the reasons I chose them as opposed to another provider who said there would be a $20 travel fee. The cost of the inspection ended up being $35 higher than the other provider's would have been, so I ended up paying more after all.
