+ -1 moreVery anxiety producing and frustrating. I explained that I did not know how to re-install items. He told me if problems I should call in AM. I did...still in tears and very anxious. He was to return call. He did late that afternoon and said he was out of town and could come in a couple of days. I did not let him come back..don't really think he knew how to work on a PDA and should have said so up front. I had someone else come and diagnose the PDA problem within 10 minutes. That it was PDA hardware and had nothing to do with my computer at all. They also had to fix and re-install windows and some of my programs to get me back up and running.
Description of Work: My PDA would not Sync w my computer after about a year, so trying to determine if it was a hardware or software problem. Also, my fax machine didn't seem to be connected properly...couldn't receive and I thought that my installation of Nortons 360 may have caused the PDA connection problem. Joe came out and tried to hook up fax but didn't really seem to have anyone to send or receive to. I had to try to locate friends home to use for testing. He turned on auto protect on Norton and stated he wasn't sure why people used PDA's and said that the only way to repair was to re-install windows. I told him I did not have anything backed up. He never said he could help with that and stated it would be a high cost for him to stay through the purge and re-install so he left me(in tears). All my pics, music and documents...going, going..and I still didn't know what was wrong with the PDA- if anything.
