Good Nature Organic Lawn Care - Columbus

If you're looking for a safe and organic lawn care service, this is a great company to work with. Safe for pets and family. They are nice and great to work with!

This is the first year we've used them because we have a dog. They've come and done the first application, to my knowledge. We paid up front for all the lawn treatments; I think we got ... the total for everything, we paid it was a little like $380-something. My yard looks really nice, so I guess they're doing a very good job. My husband - we have a pet, so he wanted to go with Organic.

we have had good nature for 2 years now. For the positive, they have always been on time and done the work that was promised. They do leave feedback after they have been here and with interesting information. The first year our lawn looked ok. This year is the second go around and unfortunately our lawn has looked the worst that it has in recent times. The weeds are out of control and with brown spot (fungus). These were not noted in the last application despite going on the last couple of months. Upon alerting them I did hear in short order from the owner and was looked at. I'm not sure if this is the issue of organic vs nonorganic but the results have been disappointing.

This is the 3rd year we are using Good Nature. We have two small children who are in the yard a lot and did not want them exposed to lawn chemicals. The results are pretty good. Of course, we get some dandelions here and there, but its chemical free and the grass is getting healthier and healthier every year.

Good Nature has treated our lawn for the past four years. We like the organic aspect because we have several dogs roaming the yard. Our lawn stacks up to any of the lawns around here that use the standard toxic treatments. I recommend Good Nature to everyone.

This is a great company. Every lawn care treatment is adjusted for my lawn, not the standard lawns. Each treatment is explained, every detail in type on the service slip. Suggestions and reasons for treatment given. They even provide photo cards of particular problems and treatment suggestions. This fall finished my second year with them. I am very pleased. I grow vegetables organically in raised beds and did not wish to be eating lawn chemicals (the yard is not very big). The lawn is green and basically healthy. They even suggest mowing height. They do a wonderful job and I frequently suggest them to like minded friends.

I was very unhappy with them. My backyards have never looked worse. My front yard looked so much better before I used them. I have weeds, thistles, and violets in my backyard. It looks awful and uncared for. I spent too much on it for it to look that way. I've been using them for two years now and I will not use them next year. I like the fact that it is organic because I have a puppy and the puppy has stayed healthy throughout their service. The lawn, however, has truly suffered. I never know when they are coming.

Every season they come. It's an organic company so it's not effective. Altogether, they cannot control the weed. The weed is bad. Organic method is never going to work. They had to use the conventional method on top of that. With the price, I wasn't too happy. Their responsiveness is good. They don't come right away. They come whenever they're scheduled to come within their time frame. The garlic they used to control the mosquitoes is not working because it's bad as ever. I prefer the organic way.

First, they were more than prompt, calling to say they could arrive a week before our expected date. However, we were having mulch delivered, and we wanted to get that spread before they could do work. They were completely understanding, and they set a new date. They arrived as expected. The lawn care guy was professional, polite, and very particular; he wanted to make absolutely sure that they would not damage invisible fence/irrigation lines. Within two weeks, we had new grass; within four weeks, we absolutely could not believe the change in our lawn! Where there had been bald spots, dead grass, and moss, there was now a beautiful, lush lawn. Given that we are in the shade, we didn't believe it was possible. What we most appreciated about this company was that they were completely upfront and honest with us. They told us from the get go that, given the amount of shade we had, they would not be able to reseed once and our lawn would be great; we were warned that reseeding might have to happen every year. We truly appreciated their honesty. After spending close to $800 with another company who merely scattered seed and covered it with hay (and then when it didn't grow, blamed us for not watering it enough!), this company was a joy. We could not recommend them more highly!

Lawn looks much better in years past. They provide many suggestions for improving the lawn. Have been very helpful.

it always goes well, we have been using them for over a year now. my lawn care tech calls each time he is planning to come and they leave a sign in the yard and pamphlet on the door after each visit so i know they were here. they are fast and i love that i dont have to worry about chemicals around my pets and child.

We have a 2 year old (that only wants to be outside...rolling in the grass), so the safety of the products we place on our yard was important to us. The products are organic/very safe and the company was very knowledgeable and nice... we went for it. I wasn't sure what the products would actually do for our yard, and I have to say, I am impressed. Our yard was not in the best shape, and the weeds have all but disappeared and the grass itself is looking quite lush!

They call ahead before they come. Took them fifteen minutes. No complaints.

They seeded our 1800 sq foot back yard. After two other companies did this we finally have had GREAT success! Our grass is beautiful!

We are very pleased with the organic lawn program. We saw results within the first year and will sign up again next year. They leave detailed notes about our lawn after each treatment. We are happy our children are not exposed to chemicals .(cost below is per treatment)

First let me start by saying that my yard has issues. It's had issues since we moved in 8 years ago. I've used competitors that use chemicals and Good Nature. I have to admit that I feel better that there aren't chemicals applied to my yard every four to six weeks, but at the same time, my yard doesn't look a whole lot better, in fact, in some cases, it looks worse. I'm not a fan of weeds or anything else other than grass in my lawn. They only treat for weeds when you ask for it. That being said, when they use their recede tea, it works awesomely well. Unfortunately, they only use this when you ask for it and they charge almost 1.5x the cost of just a normal yard treatment. To me, keeping weeds away should be part of the deal with lawn care. I understand the whole bio-diversity thing and I also understand that my yard, as stated before, has issues where it is prone to having weeds since my grass is somewhat thin, but honestly, when I used other companies that used chemicals I had many fewer "things" in my yard than just grass because they treated for them. My yard is also compacted... I've had liquid aeration as well as traditional aeration done by them a couple times and yet, I don't know if it's any better or if it's even possible to get a whole lot better. They keep suggesting slice seeding and/or a whole yard renovation, but with what I've been paying to just maintain my yard and not seeing a real noticeable improvement, I'm a little hesitant to take them up on that for fear of being disappointed and spending a whole lot more money. Their service people are very polite, responsive and know their stuff, but the actual results, as far as my yard is concerned, have been somewhat short of my expectations, but at least it's chemical free!

I really like that they use an organic lawncare method, and it does a better job. This is the first year we've been using them.

I was excited to use them because I wanted to go to the Organic treatments. I have little doggies and wanedt it to be safer. I called them about 6 weeks ago to come out and give me a quote. The bad service started then. I called and spoke to Denise at the main office she said they could not do a quote over the phone. So some one would come out. No one came out or called. Like 2 weeks later Matt showed up randomly and gave us a very detailed quote, very EXPENSIVE $200 for one treatment. I have a big yard but really? He was very knowledgable and gave me a lot of information. I was excited again good lets do this, my yard needed help, new sod and it was starting to look yellow. Even though he was soooo expensive I thought ok I will give it a try. Then I called to schedule a treatment, again I talked to Denise. She said I will try and schedule you" I'll call you back." Again no phone call, no one out to help me with my lawn. I even called Matt left a message to see if they could come out. No return calls. I gave up found another provider on here. Bio- Green!!! I called BIO-GREEN yesterday, they were here this morning!!!! And for half the price. They are natural, organic as well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOOD NATURE. Someone needs to figure out how to run their business.

I appreciate a more thoughtful approach to lawn care

Quick to respond, very knowledgable. Staff is great to work with. I did not end up going with them only because a family friend needed some work. However, I will be contacting them soon to utilize their services going forward. Good initial experience, and will follow up with an edit after work is done.

This is the second year we've been using them. They are chemical free and pet safe.

They have done one tree and it was fine. We got the guy's name and he did the treatment. He's here for 10-15 minutes then he left. He's great. I would recommend them. Like I said we just started with them and done only one treatment. The first treatment was double; they do two treatments together so it's like 95 dollars. They're coming tomorrow for the trees and shrubs. They called us before they came out so that's good. UPDATE 8/15/14 We have been using Good Nature since April 2014 and have no problems. They always call the afternoon before they come out. One of our neighbors have also started using them after see the good job they have done on our lawn.

Followed up to ensure quote was received and to answer any questions. I plan to schedule services in the near future.
