We are extremely happy with the finished basement. Bruce was thoroughly professional helping us explore options and throwing ideas. Pat, Antony , the plumber, James and Mikey, Julio, Milt were also awesome professionals.. Basement has come out very well. Space was well utilized, It was a meticulous planning and they were flexible throughout the construction. Bruce was always available for discussing/ changing plans. I would strongly recommend Dave Richards for any of your home improvement needs. Overall it was top notch!

We wanted a place for our kids toys and a space for us all to all be together. We really wanted the finished basement to be completed by our sons first birthday and worked very closely with our sales rep Bruce to make that happen. We came across a few final touches in the end that needed to be fixed, but Bruce and Dave made a point to make these a priority with all their other projects and got it done very quickly! I canâ t wait to use them again for our master bathroom and kitchen down the line. Special shout out to Milt for flooring and Mikey, Daveâ s foreman both were amazing!!

We just had our 1,000 sq ft basement finished. Dave and Bruce were very friendly and professional. They made us feel comfortable and at ease with this project from day 1. Their entire team: Pat, Mikey, Anthony, Julio and Milt are all very skilled in what they do. They were efficient, courteous, and easy to communicate with. They do quality work. Bruce kept everything on track and kept the work flowing-even during snow emergencies in Ohio last week. When we had trouble digging out, his team found their way in to get the job done! The finished product exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful. Any homeowner choosing to work with them will be beyond pleased and extremely satisfied with the entire experience. We absolutely love our new space!

Prior to working with Dave Richards Home Improvement, we had an 15 month project in which we gutted our entire home. Throughout that process we learned what bad contractors looked like. When picking a contractor for our basement, we made sure to research companies extensively and they needed good reviews, needed to be well established within greater Columbus and wanted to work with a company that would treat our house as theirs. Well - David Richards Home Improvement delivered beyond our expectations. Mike, Anthony, Bruce & Dave are great people and provide top notch work. Flexibility and understanding is an understatement. Not only did they work through some unforeseen issues (on our side - nothing to do with them). They were extremely knowledgable and professional throughout our entire project. They worked long hours, consistently show up on time and started the project month ahead of schedule and finish a couple weeks ahead of their deadline. We love our basement and appreciate how you all have helped transform our home. Thank you!

Dave and his team refinished our basement this past fall and did a wonderful job. I would certainly recommend them. Mikey, especially, was just super responsive. Always professional and just overall nice guys who did good work. Ours was not a small job, but they did it in the allotted time and on budget. We're very pleased.

Our basement was a blank slate for Dave and his team to come in and finish for us. We needed framing, drywall, electrical, flooring, the addition of a half bath, and storage areas. They were to also build a bar for us. They were upfront in July when they told us they would not be able to get to us until November. They started the project on October 26, ahead of the November schedule. The actual basement was finished the first week of December. The bar build took a little longer and a little more effort, but was finished on January 10th. The basement is beautiful. Each team came in and did their job, being professional and courteous the entire time. Bruce is a great guy to work with and took a lot of backtalk from me throughout the process, Mikey and Anthony are amazing and did most of the finishing work and built us an AMAZING bar. I am giving them an overall 5-star review because the work was impeccable and I feel they gave us a great deal. When part of the project went south, Dave, the owner, and I worked together and he made it right. That is the most important part of this to me. These guys will do right by you and will make your home beautiful, no matter what room they touch.

Bruce was our main contact. He was always available to chat whether it be in person, over the phone or text. Answered any questions or concerns we had. They got us done a month sooner than planned. His entire crew did great works. Would recommend to anyone.

Bruce and his crew were great to work with and made this project easier than I could have imagined. Everyone that worked on our basement was friendly and polite. They take the time to let us know what they are working on each day and to notify us of any problems as well as propose solutions. Bruce stopped by frequently to check on us and the progress of the basement. He was also easy to reach any time I had questions or concerns. The basement looks amazing and turned out better than we expected. We had been nervous about hiring someone to finish our basement but they made this and easy and fun project. We look forward to enjoying our basement.

Had a full remodel done on my basement. Wiring, drywall, floors and a full bathroom installed. These guys did a wonderful job! It looks fantastic and every single employee was so nice and a pleasure to to work with. Highly recommend!!

Where to begin? First I would like to thank Dave & Bruce and his entire team. We had our basement finished (950 sq. ft) and its really added so much to our family home. We find ourselves down here having family time more than anywhere in our entire home. First off communication was phenomenal. We were given a start date and they actually started 2 weeks before that. Every one who came in to work on our basement communicated what time they would arrive and they followed through. The professionalism in which worked was surreal. Framing & electrical was finished in about 4 days. Mike & Anthony worked long days to put this project ahead of schedule. After that drywall was next. I cant say enough about Julio. Dude was a one man show. He crushed out the entire drywall project within 36 hours. He was a true artists in his craft. Within 8 days we had a basement that was framed, insulation, new electrical, ceiling and drywall. The amount of work done in this short time frame was unbelievable. Again it was done with great detail and also on time. Next came in the painter, James? Again he came in and had the entire basement painted in about 2 days. Next was Milt for flooring. I didn't meet him because I was at work but what I do know is he came in and completed the entire floor in one day including putting the baseboards in. The cuts/corners on the baseboards were precise. Again i can't emphasize enough how good each guy was at their craft. Overall our experience was above & beyond. Bruce came by several times to check in and make sure all was well. Any small blemishes were taken care of immediately. I'm happy to recommend them to anyone looking to have their basement finished. Bruce and crew are unbelievable...kind ...caring..fun to work with... They worked hard and still care about what we thought. We had some issues, but was fixed in a timely matter. The finished work was great, and they finished ahead of schedule. I would definitely recommend this company.

This is an excellent company bar none. We had a 2300 sq ft basement remodeling job that was done to perfection! The scope of work included; full bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, main living area...and yes even a secret room. As with many large projects we felt the need to make changes after progress began and David along with his crew were very flexible and adjusted based on our need, they offered suggestions to resolve unexpected problems, the professionalism is top notch. We are very picky about our home and the quality of work that goes into making improvements so we had high expectations and I can assure you we were not let down. The quality and craftsmanship that went into this project was impressive. The crew was professional, polite and cleaned up daily. Dave Richards and his crew did an excellent job on our basement! They were able to fit us in and finish before scheduled which is very much appreciated with us working and schooling from home. Their attention to detail is fantastic, their suggestions and recommendations not only ensured that the space would fit our current needs but also what may come up in the future. They took special care when working to accommodate our pets, cleaned up after themselves and the entire crew was friendly and attentive to our needs. Shout out to Cody for always getting right back to us about any concerns and Bruce for making sure we were totally satisfied at the end of the project. Dave Richards Home Improvements did a Great job refinishing my basement, The employees were very professional and timely when scheduled to work.

Dave is very personable and all of his workers are friendly. Dave mapped out exactly how the process would take place and each stage happened just like he said. The workers showed up with their masks on and made sure to clean up at the end of each day. Dave was available anytime we called with questions and addressed them immediately. There were changes we needed to be made in the middle of the project and everyone was accommodating and made the changes. Our basement is exactly what we wanted! I hired Dave Richards Home Improvement for a basement remodel and loft conversion. Dave and Bruce are very personable. The contractors that came to work on the projects were very courteous and friendly. Once they show up, they just go about their business. I'm very happy with the end results and would not hesitate to hire them again.

I had a bad experience with another contractor that had come to do my basement. He screwed me over and made a mess of my basement. I set up an appointment with Dave to get an estimate and to see if he could fix the disaster. He came out with his associate, evaluated the basement and gave me an estimate. A couple weeks later, he and his crew came and knocked it out. Everything was done precisely as it should have been. It was done beyond my expectations. They were very thorough and professional. When they were done, they cleaned up the area. Such a great group of guys. I would highly recommend them to do any project needed. My basement is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

David s team was great! They did everything they said they would do in a timely manner. Easy to communicate with throughout the project.
