Dave Richards and his crew are great to work with from start to finish. We hired them to finish our basement and couldn't be happier with the results.

This is a great company. Their finished basements are gorgeous. From the initial design phase with Bruce (awesome individual) and throughout the entire process it was an absolute pleasure. Ashley and Mike(y) are Amazing. They were respectful and conscious of our needs and the desired outcomes. Everyone was really focused on delivering a great final product. I'm not sure these guys ever stop working. They're some of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. Thanks to all of you!

Bruce Irving, Dave Richards, and their team did an excellent job with our basement. The bulk of the work was completed within about 4 weeks. Two custom doors were delayed heavily due to the high demand and low supply of lumber. Due to high demand, recommend anybody looking for remodel/repair to order specialty woodwork or components asap. Despite supply chain interruptions, they stayed with us throughout the process and delivered on all of our needs and concerns. Bruce did a great job in making sure we were taken care of.

Bruce and his whole team each step of the process, and would listen to any concerns, as well as provide suggestions. I will also be hiring them to build a bar in the finished basement. Definitely recommend them, and they are straight forward with no sneaky fees or price changes

Dave Richards Home Improvement did an AMAZING job from start to finish on our basement. Bruce reached out to us same day as our inquiry and scheduled a in-home consultation within 1-2 days. When he came out...he was very friendly, personable and professional. He worked up and reviewed the quote with us that evening which was a very fair price. Other contractors took 10-14 days to provide quotes and were well outside our budget. Another separating characteristic of Dave Richards Home Improvement is that they have different crews for the different phases. Week 1...Flavio came out an did all the framing. Week 2...Mikey, Ashley and Brian came out to do plumbing/electrical/insulation. Week 3...Drywall crew came out to hang/patch/sand. Week 4 & 5...Flooring crew lays LVP/molding and Mikey's crew paints/finishing fixtures. Needless to say they are super efficient and flexible with our needs. The project was completed and exceeded our expectations...with the bonus being that our space was useable prior family guests coming for Christmas. We really enjoyed working on our basement project with Dave Richards Home Improvement and highly recommend them to anyone. If you're serious about remodeling your space...you need to contact Dave Richards as he and his team have the knowledge, experience and ability to execute a high quality project at an affordable price in a timely manner. Bruce ran the project for us to finish an approximately 500 sq ft basement including a bathroom. While scheduling as a bit tough given current labor market and supply chain issues, the overall timeline was hit. The quality of work and diligence of his team to "fix" a punchlist of items was superb. Excellent after completion follow up on a couple of items. Also, very conscientous about cleaning up after themselves each day which was appreciated.

After getting a quote from a few local contractors, we decided to go with Dave Richards Home Improvement. Overall extremely happy with our decision. Bruce was our point of contact - and he navigated the multiple ideas, thoughts, changes, and decisions we made with expertise. He was always available whenever we needed him. Dave also made frequent stops and discuss the next steps, thoughts, and add some additional design guidance. The space turned out to be absolutely beautiful. We love it! After getting quotes from several different companies to finish 1200 square feet of our basement, we ultimately decided to go with Dave Richards Home Improvements. It was a great decision and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Their team was friendly, professional and extremely talented. Our first encounter with Bruce Irving (our primary contact) was what sealed the deal. Having Bruce in our home was like having a good friend over for a visit and he never failed to answer our questions or address any changes/concerns that popped up along the way. Bruce always ensured us that they settle for nothing less than perfect and with this company, that proved to be true. Bruce was able to get us on the calendar within a month and once the work began, things flowed smoothly. Flabio, our framer, did an exceptional job. We are still in awe of his work and wonder how one person can pull off such an amazing feat. Once Flabio’s framing was complete, Ashley, Julio, Milt and Mikey-Mike and crew (Bruce told us to call you that Mike) came in and finished the job. Their work was flawless and each day they cleaned up before they left. When the work was done and tweaks needed to be made, we really appreciate the quick responses that we got from Bruce and the timely way that Mike showed up to address those small tweaks. We even got a couple of calls from Dave Richards himself to answer a few questions we had along the way. We absolutely LOVE our newly finished basement and are so grateful to the entire team at Dave Richards Home Improvement!

After reviewing and getting quotes from three or four companies to finish our basement, including possibly doing it ourselves, we met with Bruce from Dave Richards Home Improvements. Bruce answered every question, provided a great plan and timeline for the remodeling process from beginning to end, and the quote could not be matched. Our basement plan included a bedroom with an egress window as well as a full bathroom, kitchen area, office, and family room (approximately 1,200 sq. ft. altogether). The project started exactly when Bruce had told us it would and the crew was great. The process flowed just as planned and the crew from framing and drywall, to plumbing and finishing was great. They cleaned up and made sure to cover the flooring upstairs so they didn't track dirt through the house. Bruce and Mike answered every question and made sure any issues were resolved in a timely manner (which we only had a few minor issues during the process) as well as making sure we were completely satisfied with the work that was done. AND WE WERE!!! We definitely recommend Dave Richards Home Improvements and we would hire them again. We love our new living space and are so grateful for Bruce, Mike, and the Dave Richards team.

We had a great experience with Dave Richards Home Improvement. They finished our basement and added recessed lighting to our kitchen and family room. The team that worked here were all professional and respectful. They finished earlier than predicted and we couldn't be happier with the results.

We used Dave Richards to finish our basement. We were offered a very fair price compared to other contractors. Bruce was fantastic to work with throughout the process and did a great job of making sure we were happy with the end result. Bruce is very professional and listens to the needs of your project. He has great ideas and suggestions. Was very responsive and I appreciated being able to add/remove different components of the project as it went along. The team was all very nice and did a great job of confirming our plans and ensuring we were all on the same page. If something was not as expected, the team corrected it and made sure we were satisfied. A couple times guys would arrive without notice; not a big deal since we were working from home but if we were not, could have been an issue. Overall we were very happy with the results, communication and value.
