Phil Palmer has been excellent from first phone contact thru evaluation and estimate and then completing the project this morning. Very clear explanations of every cost and process. Sound advice about 'add-ons' not warranted by our circumstances, saving us about $400. Very pleased with Columbus Gas Pro!

Phil went out of his way to get a rush job completed for me at a fair price. He took the time to listen to my situation and he figured out how to get the job done in my timeline. He is trustworthy, responsive, does what he says he will do, and does great professional work. You can feel confident that you are getting the best price and superior work with Columbus Gas Pro. Phil is a great guy who is easy to work with and has excellent communication so you know what to expect and when. There is no reason to hire anyone else!

Phil answered my calls, showed up on time, completed the project, and his estimate was accurate for the work performed. He is expensive but worth it.

Called Columbia Gas Pro and never got a return call. I really hate that. I would like to see service providers return the call and say, "I don't want your business. I'm either too busy, you're too far from my business location, I don't like that kind of work, I just don't feel motivated," or whatever. Service providers who don't bother returning calls waste homeowners' time. There really is no shortage of quality alternatives to your businesses in this area. I have no hard feelings toward this person. I am not angry... but people should know. By all means, call this person. His reviews indicate he does decent work. But... If he doesn't actually answer the phone and you get voice mail, I suggest you immediately try other providers before you put your valuable time in his hands waiting for a response.

t went great. Phil was punctual in getting back with an estimate, arriving time, and performing work very well. He took his time on the job - no rush to get out the door. It is evident that he knows his profession and has many years experience. He even came in under the estimate. He helped us out of a spot by connecting us with an electrician. We were having difficulty finding one with the experience we needed and quick turnaround. He also took the time to show us where the valve shuts off are for our gas lines. He was a personable, capable professional. We are very pleased with his work and would call on him again.

The gas line entering our house was leaking and the gas company shut off our gas for safety reasons. I called Columbus Gas Pro at 9:00 pm expecting to leave a message, but Phil answered the call and was able to come out the next day and repair the leak. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. His fee was very reasonable. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

Fabulously! Phil P. was friendly, professional, expedient, reasonable in price, and was VERY easy to work with to install a new dryer's gas line and vent! He verified my dryer's gas line, checked for security of the current 1967 line and valve, told me EXACTLY what I needed to do to finish installation of the dryer vent, provided from a previous purchase that was not sufficient, which I did, and it is working perfectly right now! He does a great job, is honest as the day is long, and provides the highest quality work! I would NEVER hesitate to schedule him again for future work!

Phil was really responsive about scheduling a repair to a gas leak as soon as he had time in his schedule. He did a great job, explained everything we needed to know, and gave us gas line advice for the future, and we'd gladly hire him if we had a similar problem again.

Saw their ad in Angie's List monthly coupon section. I called in early January and explained I would like to obtain an estimate for a gas line installation for a generator. The guy that answered said he was on a job, his schedule was in his truck, and he would call me back. No call back so I called again the next morning and got voice mail. Explained previous conversation and requested a call back to schedule. I left my name, address, and telephone number. I have NEVER heard back. I do not recommend as they won't even return a telephone call or message when they say will.

Phil was awesome! He communicated so well through the whole process, helped me understand everything that he was looking at. He got the fireplace fixed and tested and even pointed out a few small items that could be replaced and did them right there and then, no follow up appointment he was able to just knock it out right then. Great guy, super knowledgeable and professional. Great install too, all of the work is clean and well done and looks great. Would not hesitate to call him again for any gas job, I can’t say enough good things about him.

Phil was great throughout the entire process my gas had been shut off for several days due to a leak that was detected. I contacted my home warranty company who sent out some shady company who quoted me $3,000 and claimed that all the lines in my house had to be replaced! I found out about Phil through Angie's list and called him for a second opinion. He was able to pinpoint the leak and fix it along with replacing a few gas lines on my furnace and hot water heater for $600. My gas was restored the next day and Phill sent me an invoice of his work so I could send it to my home warranty company for reimbursement. He is an honest man who will do the job right and only fix what needs to be fixed.

I contacted Columbus Gas Pro after the gas line inspection following an outside repair by gas company detected an inside line leak. Mr. Palmer responded promptly and scheduled an appointment. He arrived in a timely manner and worked until he found and fixed the issues inside my home. My house is older and gave him a couple of surprises, but he kept me informed and worked through them. He is professional and his rates are reasonable. I am keeping his information on speed dial and intend to give his information to everyone I know. If you have a gas line issue, call this professional skilled man!!!

Phil was great to work with, especially for the following reasons: Communication - Phil responded to all calls and texts in a timely manner and spoke in a way that gave you comfort that he was truly invested into solving the issue. Punctuality - Phil did a good job arriving on time and responding within the amount of time he said he was going to respond in. Quality - It is clear that Phil knows his craft, he worked with the Columbia Gas technician, who had incorrect information, to successfully get gas service turned back on. I have worked with a number of gas line contractors and Phil will definitely be my first call from this point on.
