The appliance originally failed in the first 30 days of service. The appliance was serviced but is failing again.
Description of Work: I purchased 3 appliances from this company for daughter. I have tried to contact this man but he will not get back to me or my daughter.

CHARLIE ADAMS APPLIANCE advertised a sale of refrigerator on Craigslist for $325. On the evening of 08/03/2012, I went to take a look. It looked OK and the price was fair for the condition, so I was attempted to enter a deal. I told them I could pay by credit and transport it with my mini van. The man (seemed the owner) said that would void the 30 day warranty, but they could deliver it for $35. It sounded fair and a agreed. They asked for a deposit, saying they had to rent a truck and If the truck left its dock, they had to pay the trucking company $30. I left $60 and told them I had to take measurements before they deliver. They said I should let them know before 9:00 the next morning. The measurements denied my intended purchase. I called and left a message on the night of August 3. Because of an uncomfortable impression I had the night before, I was afraid that the owner would detain my $60 dollars, I decided to go to their store by 9:00 the next day to make sure they do not load the refrigerator and get my money back. I went to their store front at 8:15 a.m., way before the store opened on that date ( in fact, up to 2:00 p.m. on the 4th of August, the store was not open). I called the store's number (it seems the number and the owner's residence or cell phone number are associated) and requested a refund of the $60. The woman on the phone seemed reasonable and tried to talk the man into it. The man took over the phone and claimed they had loaded to the truck at 9:30 (which apparently was not true). After I told the man that I was there since 8:15 a.m., the man changed his line saying my reservation of the refrigeration from 6:00 p.m. of August 3 to 8:00 a.m. of August 4, hurt their sales of the refrigerator. (BTW, I was the only customer from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. at their store on August 3, 2012) . The man refused to issue any refund to me..The man (owner? ) I dealt with do not seem obtain the quality of an honest business owner. I did not deal with them in repairing services. So do not have information on their quality of repair service. But I personally would never do business again with them. Note: I am glad I didn't buy from them.

We saw a picture of the machine, called to discuss and it matched exactly what they told us. They were very accommodating and met us at the store after closing hours so we could pick it up. I would definitely buy from them again based on this experience. My daughter-in-law and son are thrilled with it.

HE JUST HAS GREAT PRICES (USED APPLIANCES). HE DELIVERS AND INSTALLS AS WELL. VERY NICE. KNOWS APPLIANCES LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE. HE REFURBISHES APPLIANCES AND STANDS BY WHAT HE SELLS. I'VE RECOMMENDED THEM TO FRIENDS.
