(1) When extensive landscaping was done at my 4-level split home by the original owners, installed a french drain to take care of water drainage in the lower patio area. Unfortunately, this was insufficient to handle heavy sustained rains and my family room (which was carpeted) took in water under the french doors. AIS had to do extensive work to tie the drain in the middle of the patio area into my sump system. They also replaced my sump pump and we included a backup system. They had to dig out an area in the corner of the patio area, go through the basement wall, etc. They did a great job, cleaning up along the way and I finally have no more worries about water flooding my family room. (2) They tore out the carpeting in the family room and installed flooring. I had already chosen the flooring prior to talking with AIS. I later learned that the installation was a difficult process, but they did a beautiful job! (3) I have a brick walkway in the front of my home which leads to the brick steps and stoop to the front door. A number of bricks on the side of the stoop and on the steps had become very loose. I was worried that someone would hurt themselves. AIS removed (and reused) all of the bricks on the stoop and steps and re-installed them. Not only does it look like new, beautifully done, but it will last a very long time. (4) While looking to see why I was experiencing a waterfall in front of my french doors whenever it rained, AIS discovered that the fascia had rotted and the water was falling from the roof because the gutters were no longer able to connect to the fascia. During this inspection process, they discovered that my roof also needed to be replaced. They assisted by meeting with my insurance inspector. In the end, I have new fascia, roof, gutters, and downspout. I am extremely pleased with my new roof. I knew that this was something I would need to be doing soon, but with AIS's assistance, it was an easy, non-anxiety producing process.

The work was performed in two stages due to weather, ordering a specific door for my needs and my priorities. My priorities were revolved around the installation of a gas line and over range hood ventilation ductwork - in advance of my new appliance installation. Parks was sensitive to my needs and his team worked around my priorities. Even though they had a full plate of projects - my first priority work got done when I needed it. The rest of the work was completed today. His team was courteous, the work was good and the clean-up afterwards was perfect. I don't know how easy it is to find a reliable, professionally run general contracting business that gives reasonable pricing - but I don't have to look any further. I've found mine.

He and his crew are commended for their fine work. Parks Sr., Parks Jr, Shawn and crew are very professional, polite, persistent in staying with the job until completion. They worked everyday for three weeks. Park Sr. contacted me everyday. He is extremely knowledgeable. He helped me pick out colors and has a natural touch for design. AIS Renovations, LTD is fantastic. I will be in contact with them for any other repair work. I highly recommend them!

Unfortunately we went with another provider due to our budget. HUGE mistake! If we could do it over again we would have chosen AIS. They were professional, knowledgable, & have an excellent reputation in the Grove City community.

I noticed some dead pavement ants due to moisture in my dining room around mid November 2014, so that is what spurred calling contractors. I had some hail damage from a couple years ago, so I thought it was probably best to get the leak and siding fixed at the same time. I made some calls after reviewing company reviews on Angie's List. I called AIS due to their raving reviews. Dennis did come out shortly after calling. Everything started out well, but I never did receive an estimate. Being it was almost winter, I punted on the project until around April 2015. I contacted them again. There were some emails back and forth, but in the end I decided to move on. This is why it is good to get several estimates and opinions. I must be the one of the few who had a so-so experience. They are apparently doing something right with all the positive reviews. I must have been unlucky, but in the end it worked out best anyway. I went with ACI Construction for the work and they did an amazing job without costing a fortune.

All of the work went really well even though it was slow getting out of the gate due to weather. Parks kept me informed throughout the whole process and the final product turned out great. I can't say enough about the whole team at AIS and am extremely pleased with the quality of work.

We contracted with AIS Renovations to build a sizeable garden house on our property last fall. We initially met with Dennis King, Regional Manager. Dennis is extremely personable and was very attentive to our vision for the project. When we expressed a desire for some design expertise, Dennis suggested we meet with Parks Davis, the owner and founder of the company. When we first spoke with Parks, we quickly learned just how knowledgeable he is about construction. His guidance was very helpful in determining our final design specifications. During the contract stage of our negotiations, we found Parks and Dennis to be very willing to support specific ideas and include them in the project. As an example of their dedication, we ordered windows that we wanted to match our home. Unfortunately, there was quite a delay in obtaining those windows from the factory. Winter approached and we thought our project would be delayed until spring. But personnel from AIS forged on through many cold days, and our project was completed this winter far exceeding our expectations. What amazed us most about working with AIS Renovations was their attention to detail. We felt they took just as much care in building our garden house, as if building one in their own backyard. When we first met Shawn Davis, Parks? son, you could tell the pride he took in his work and it showed. AIS Renovations went above and beyond what we had even hoped for. We are extremely satisfied with their fine workmanship and would definitely consider hiring them to complete another project for us. In fact, we already have one in mind! They did a very good job and were very professional. They were also very responsive.

Parks showed up every time he said he would. They did exactly what they said they would, when they said they would do it. As usual with any home repairs, their were surprises to be found. He handled everyone in a professional manner, and never made us feel as if they were trying to hide anything or charge us for additional repairs. All work was completed professionally, on time, and on budget.

The big difference with AIS was the customer service and attention to detail. The owner of the company was available prior to and during the job. Information was provided on the materials and processes used to accomplish the best results. It was quickly apparent that the original roof had structural flaws that were causing the roof to droop. AIS fixed the problems at a reasonable cost. I am so pleased with the job they did. My roof looks outstanding!

Park Davis came out and replaced the roof on a very small garage for us. He put new fascia boards on. He re-attached some siding for us. He gave us such a good deal. He has the BEST personality. He is so wonderful. He knows exactly what he is talking about and I felt so comfortable working with him. He is very trustworthy and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone. We are going to use him again for future projects as well.

Parks and the guys at AIS are the best in the business. They worked with us to navigate the insurance claims process. The crew that hung our new siding was great. Our 3 young children loved watching the guys work. Spider-Man even made an appearance at our house!!! It was really cold when the guys were working on our home and one of the guys was wearing a Spider-Man ski mask. When our kids would look out the window and wave at him he would pretend to shoot webs at them. They really got a kick out of it. The crew did a great job and our house looks fabulous. We will definitely call AIS for our future needs. These guys have been in business for a long time and will continue to conduct business in our community for years to come. Don't get suckered by one of the many here today, gone tomorrow storm chasers that are out there, just call A.I.S. and sleep easy knowing that the job was done right and that they will still be here when you need them in the future!!!

Mr. Parks Davis apologized for my previous bad experience with A.I.S where they missed an appointment without explanation or notice. Mr. Davis was courteous, prompt & professional. He gave a detailed explanation of the roof inspection process & findings. I am revising my prior low review of A.I.S based on this service.

From start to finish they worked steadily & finished in a timely manner. Cleaned up everything. Polite & courteous installers.

We dealt with Parks Davis for all of our estimates. He was always punctual and and professional and actually vistited the property three times to ensure he could give us the best deal and he did! We contacted several contractors and got a couple of bids and a couple of no shows. We will definitely be using AIS for all of our renovations. Highly reccommended.

Parks came out at the time agreed upon and looked at our basement. He listened to my concerns re: cost and submitted a bid to complete half of our basement. His price was comparable to other bidders, though the bid could have had more detail. Parks also was helpful re: possible financing options. For now we have put the remodel on hold but it is likely we will choose to use this company in the future.

We were contacted by AIS Renovations earlier in the year while they were canvassing our neighborhood. After seeing their signs around the neighborhood for many months, we decided to get an estimate from them for replacement of hail damaged aluminum siding. The process started with them contacting our insurer, after which the insurer came back to say they would replace 2 sides with hail damage. The AIS rep thought that AIS would not be able to match the older aluminum, so we were told that they would deal with the insurance company to get the entire house re-sided under an insurance claim. That did not work out (no fault of AIS), so we asked for a quote to get the entire house resided in vinyl and new shutters and gutters installed. The communication during this portion of the process was lacking, which AIS attributed to the insurance adjuster not returning calls (the adjuster never returned our calls either). We felt that the quote was acceptable, and signed the contract. We negotiated a start date of the week of 8/12/2013 since we would be leaving on vacation. While on vacation, I had a call from AIS stating they would be starting work on 8/5/2013 - before we were scheduled to be home. I returned the call to get that changed to 8/12 as originally scheduled. Since the agreement was for the work to begin during the week of 8/12, and since we had gotten a call previously to alert us to when the work would begin - we expected a call to tell us when the crew would be onsite to start. We woke up on 8/12 to the crew arriving at our house - but there were no materials ready for them. We called the AIS rep, who stated he was not aware they would be there that day. The crew soon left since there were no materials to start with. The next day (8/13) the crew arrived at 7am, and the AIS rep called us at 7:10am to tell us the crew was starting that day. Once the crew set up, most of them left - and only 2 guys were left to do the work on our house. This is not what we were told at the time we signed the contract. We were told that a crew of multiple workers would start removing the old siding, and another crew would start putting up new siding right behind them. The AIS rep told us they normally finish the bulk of the residing work in a single day. This was far from accurate - they barely finished half of the work in the first 12 hour day because there were only 2 workers. On the first day, the owner of AIS showed up on the work site. He was pleasant, and told us that he was throwing in some aluminum flashing/fascia to make the job look better. He said he wanted to throw in some free "stuff" to dress things up a bit. In actuality, they were replacing some fascia that was torn down (as part of the contract), but then it was found that they could not make things work without the fascia. In addition, the work crew was instructed to cover other existing fascia to make things look good (paraphrasing the words of the the owner of AIS) for advertising purposes. This new metal flashing/fascia was a darker color than the existing. At the end of the second day, there was some of the original flashing/fascia that had not been replaced or covered. I sent a message to the AIS rep, but got no reply - I wanted to know what the status of the rest of the flashing/fascia was going to be. The owner of AIS had decided to do this without telling us - and it was not a last minute decision. The new metal flashing was delivered at the same time as the new vinyl siding, so this had been decided without discussing with us. At the end of the second day, the siding work was done. We were told that another crew would come out to replace the gutters at a different time. We were not given a day or time that this would happen - but that it would only take 2-4 hours to complete. Also, a third crew would come out to put up the new shutters (they had not been ordered yet). On 8/15, since we were not informed that the gutter work crew would be onsite (and I was out of town for work), my wife left to run some errands that morning. When she got home in the afternoon - we had new gutters over the old flashing/fascia. The result was a complete mismatch of colors - the new gutters were musket brown (matching the new metal that the owner of AIS had told the crew to install in certain locations), while the original flashing/fascia was a lighter brown color. Also, the gutter crews had climbed over our 6 foot fence to gain access to our rear yard without permission to do so. When installing a downspout in the back of the house, they did not put it into the existing drain - but rather directed it out into the yard with a 2-3 foot section of pipe. This was due to a clog in the drain of mud and debris - but we were not informed of this by the gutter installers. Had we been informed of when they would be onsite to perform the work, we would have been home and could have addressed the clog. I called the AIS rep to see why the gutters were put up before we figured out what was going to happen with the older (original) flashing/fascia - was it going to be covered to match the rest of the house. I expressed my dissatisfaction very strongly over the phone, as the whole purpose of the new flashing/fascia was to "make things look good" according to the AIS owner. So, I questioned why there were portions of the original flashing/fascia that were not covered. While I was still out of town, my wife informed me that the AIS rep left a message at our house (instead of calling my cell as requested) stating they could paint the original flashing/fascia to match the new "free" metal that the owner had installed. I originally said "No" to the idea of painting, as I wanted to make sure everything matched - and my thought was the best way to do that was to cover with the same new metal. I again expressed my dissatisfaction on what was done, and I wanted it to be corrected so that everything matched. The day after I got home from my out of town work assignment (8/20), the AIS owner and rep showed up at our house. The owner stated that if I did not like the free stuff he had put up, he would just take it down. I stated that I just wanted things to match since he authorized work that was outside of the scope of contract, but I didn't feel that the job was complete. I also pointed out the gutter downspout not being in the drain. The owner stuck our water hose in the drain and worked the clog out. We then discussed the painting option, and I agreed to look at a sample of painting of metal to color match the new metal that had been installed. The owner said that the painting would be $861 - but did not specifically state that he expected us to pay that. We were also told that our shutters would be installed the following day (8/21). The owners son would correct the downspout to put it in the drain at that time. The shutters were not the correct shutters - we had ordered louvered shutters, but got raised panel shutters instead. Also, the owners son fixed the downspout by putting on elbows and pipe that was a different color brown than the rest of the gutters and downspouts. After some thought of the discussion around the cost (and the different color downspout fix), I phoned the AIS rep - and he confirmed that the owner expected us to pay for the painting to make the color of the original flashing/fascia match the new musket brown flashing/fascia that was put up in certain sections. I expressed my dissatisfaction again, stating that I should not have to pay for painting to match the color of the new metal since the new metal was never discussed with us ahead of time. I finally negotiated to split the cost - but they had to include the painting of the soffits as well. End result - the painting was acceptable at best. I am not completely happy with it, and will probably get another contractor to come out and put up new flashing/fascia to complete the work that AIS started. I agreed to completion and paid only to be done with AIS. I will never again do business with them, as I found my dealings with the owner to be poor business practice, bordering on breach of contract. He attempted to bully us into extra payment - to the point that I feel I was extorted to make my house look right after he installed "free" add-ons. Later, I spoke with others who have experience with dealing with the owner - and they had similar experiences. The statement was made that as long as the owner does not get involved, the homeowner is usually happy. If the owner gets involved, there is usually complaints (per the person that I discussed this with). This was a horrible experience, and makes me shy away from using contractors in the future. My only hope is that this was a singular experience with AIS that does not reflect other contractors.

I am completely satisfied and impressed with the quality of the work.

I called on Tuesday; they were here on Wednesday. The repair was done quickly, and I honestly can't tell where the hole was initially. Shawn is a great guy and more than fair. I will definitely use this company again! Thanks again to Shawn and Hank.

We went with another company because they were able to get us a partial insurance claim.

I was very pleased with A.I.S.' work. They did some other things and no extra charge such as: painted around the fireplace and fixed lose siding. They had six men crew and took less than one day to removed and installed Atlas roof system. They also did a great job cleaning up afterward. Their rate was very reasonable and I will surely use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone I know.

It was an amazing experience! Parks did the design work himself after spending time with us getting a feel for what we really wanted. The permitting was timely and work started the week we were told it would. AIS crews began work immediately doing the framing and included items we didn't even discuss such as framing the windows. Plumbing and electrical was next. Bathroom was pre plumbed, but changes needed to be made to fit our design elements. Electrical took about a week due to the extensive additions we requested. Drywall and drywall ceiling occurred next - incredible attention was given to match up ceiling to upstairs design and follow same lines. Bathroom was mold proofed and tile was added. Painting, doors and trim to match the upstairs was added as well as a door was crafted to cover the electrical box. Windows were encased and window openings were encased in the theater room as a design element. Through all of this we were in constant communication with Parks - he even met workers at the house when I couldn't be there. Quality assurance was conducted throughout the process. Carpet was laid and home theater contractor installed all of the equipment. Inspections were passed first time throughout. Turned out great!
