This roofing was done on 6/21/14. I have called and called spoke to PARKS several times over the years. The metal roofing came with an excellent extended warranty, and the company is LIABLE to come repair this problem. They just keep telling me the problem is elsewhere which i know to be false, i have already had another company look at it. So A.I.S. is not following through on anything and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. FIND SOMEONE ELSE.

I was happy with the estimate but it went south from there. I wanted a stone look for my vinyl flooring and when I got to the show room all they had was a wood look that they tried to pass off as stone. The whole consultation was very fast paced to create a high pressure sales environment. The total price for the estimate was above my budget, but I still wanted to have half of the work done. I just needed a night to look at something in my bathroom which would determine the scope of the project. Just after I left the show room parking lot Matt called me and said he needed to know if I was really coming in the next day because he didn't think I was. It's the next morning and I'm sad that I had to pass up on having work done by them. The call was the icing on the cake. Had he not made that unprofessional call, I would of had the work done. Strange and unprofessional.

I was very happy with my initial meeting with Parks Davis, AIS Regional Field Manager. He returned to do a complete assessment of the situation—it was VERY thorough—AIS was on my roof, in my attic, and drilled a hole in my wall to assess mold damage. I loved them SO much, I asked them to do estimates for some additional work I planned to do. I couldn’t wait to move forward. Unfortunately, Mr. Davis missed an appointment without calling. 3 days later, he murmured apologies, made another appointment and AGAIN, neglected to arrive or call. I tracked him down several days later, asked for the estimate (more than 2 weeks after the thorough look around) and suggested we schedule after I received it. I was clear about my unhappiness, but kind and cordial. Unfortunately, more than 4 months later, I’m still waiting for that estimate. I couldn’t have been clearer about my eagerness to get the work started. My home is clean, we are nice people, there was absolutely NO reason not to follow through. What a terrible business model. We’ve hired several contractors in the past—we’ve always worked well with them. I’m so sorry that this encounter ended so abysmally. I have no doubt that the work, had it been completed by AIS, would’ve been well done.

The person that did the work was friendly and professional. The gutters look great and work great. I would recommend them to all.

They did an entire renovations on the inside of my home. It was completely transformed! They are professional and they work was done for a reasonable rate.

We went with AIS due to trying to stay local. I worked with Parks Sr and Sean came out everyday to watch over the project. There was great communication between everyone and our family. They did an AWESOME job and were done before the time frame that they gave. Looking to do business again with them in the near future.

I don't know how this could have gone any smoother. The paperwork was handled well, the roof looks great. Heath went out of his way to make this easy and did a couple of things around my house that were not related to my roof for free. He made sure he was there when my insurance adjuster came out to inspect the roof even thought the adjuster wanted to come on a Sunday. You will not find a better guy to do business with.

They did an outstanding job and it was great to work with them.

All 3 jobs went perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better company & family to work with. Parks & Sean are class acts. They gave me an estimate for each job & they were dead on. They also completed ahead of schedule every time while leaving the place cleaner than it was before they arrived. And more important, the quality of work was top notch. I will not use anybody else for my home improvement jobs. I know that I will get affordable, high quality work with AIS/Parks/Sean.

Things with AIS started off well. An estimator came by on a Saturday morning to assess the damage a few days after I called. Although he was nice, he made the issues seem much bigger than we suspected they really were. He said that his structural guy needed to come out to evaluate it better. The following Tuesday, the estimator and the structural guy came out and the conclusion was that the issues were definitely not as bad as we were originally told. (The structural guy actually helped cap off our water lines without charging us when he was out which we really appreciated. This was the only redeeming aspect of our interactions with AIS.). The estimator told me that he would get a quote to me by Thursday or Friday at the latest. Come Monday afternoon and I still hadn't received anything. I called him and he said he was still waiting on the structural guy but would get me an estimate on Tuesday. Nothing. I left a message later that week at the office number and nobody called me back. I decided to call one more time (now 2.5 weeks after the estimate) and spoke to someone who said they had just been talking about our job and would make sure the estimator called me. Again, nothing. This is utterly unprofessional and inexcusable customer service. Our job included a roof estimate so it wasn't going to be a cheap one but apparently AIS does not care about respecting its customers.

We are hard folks to please but we were indeed pleased in the end. Along the way we ran into some unforeseen issues such as rotten wood under the siding of our three seasons room, a 5 foot tall bees nest that needed to be removed and fiber board replaced, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Parks came out each day to assess the progress and we would do a walk through to see if we were on the same page. If there was something I didn't like, parks tended to agree and they would make the change. If you are like me, I recommend you are clear on your asks and assess every so often. It's important to remember that I can ask for someone to build me a green box and 25 builders will build you a box of all different sizes and 25 different shades of green. I learned a long time ago, if you want a 5x5 box with Sherman paint code 43562, 2 feet tall, made of hickory, that needs explained. The job can only as good as the decription. If you make your wants these, these guys will delivery.

We called AIS and set up an appointment for a representative to come out and give us an initial estimate... 1) the gentlemen missed our appointment and I had to call to see what the deal was. I spoke with who I believe was the owner who then said I would be hearing from someone soon. The gentlemen then called and stated he was sorry and he would come by the next day. Not off to a great start I am thinking but hey things happen. The gentlemen came the next day and walked through what we wanted done, did some sketches, and then told us that we would be hearing from him within a few days. 2) we never heard from him ever again. Strike two I guess. I then called about a month later and spoke to I think the owners son and told him what would happen. He then told me all about his company and how they do these types of renovations all the time. After giving me his resume he said that the gentlemen that came to our house would be contacting us the very next day. 3) what a surprise this never happened and I have never heard back. Like I said at the beginning, they never did any work so I can't speak to that but I would never trust them to do any work for me ever because they clearly have an issue keeping their word.

We have used A.I.S. on several occasions over the last 6 years. We have been very happy with the owners, crew and our lead contractor, Dennis King. Dennis is prompt to return calls, is courteous, and trustworthy and highly valued. We feel our money was well spent and will use them again for any future jobs. We highly recommend, A++ for A.I.S. !

Best family-owned company and work done was excellent and very professional. The owner Parks Davis is very personable and oversees all work done. He , his company,demands excellence ! Parks, Shawn, and their crew were fantastic! They got started immediately and my house looks like a brand new home. Parks was always very quick to answer any questions. I am not good at interior designing but Parks worked with me and helped me pick things that would coordinate great together! He definitely knows what he's doing! I highly recommend Parks and his crew! Everyone loves my new kitchen, especially me!

After a hail storm, I took the opportunity to change up the look of my white/white/white house. It was bland, to say the least. AIS made it easy. They worked with my insurance company, so basically all I had to do was the toughest part of it all: deciding a color. I was pretty indecisive, but the guys at AIS patiently sat with me and showed me color layouts on an app until I found the right combination to really make my house look fantastic! Seriously. It's like a different house. I had the roof, siding, gutters, and shutters replaced. The work itself was done quickly, professionally, and with care. They also did a great job on the cleanup of the house debris from my yard, which was a concern as I didn't want my dog stepping on any stray nails. :) (Please note, in the photo the new gutters hadn't been hung yet, so it looks even BETTER now!)

This review is a continuation of one I started in March. That means we have been chasing this company for THREE MONTHS. They do not return phone calls, emails, etc. They came out to our home about 5/6 times to take measurements and talk about layout and design. Mind you, one of these visits was unannounced, we came home to them walking around our yard. When the time came for the architect to start the drawings all those measurements magically disappeared and the poor architect showed up to our home not even knowing the layout that had been discussed (and drawn actually). We have now left 4 voicemail's over the last 3 weeks and heard NOTHING from them. Avoid them or they will end wasting your time too.

We worked with Parks Sr. who told us this would take about 3 days, maybe a week. It took almost a month. I felt like he was pushing what he wanted on us and not what we wanted. He built a dummy wall to hide our water lines, etc. We kept telling him that it would not work and that we would have no room to open our dryer doors. He kept saying to wait and we would like it. They had to tear it out because it did not allow us to open our dryer door. There are two holes in our family room where they ran screws or nails in the laundry room and out the family room. Did not notice until we moved our couch out. They used some kind of weird paint for our trim that looked like rubber. We did not like and they were upset about it. Our whole house trim was done by my husband but to get them to follow suit was hard. We finally gave them our trim paint to use. We had a cabinet hung that originally we had hung to high, so when they moved it they moved it so low we could not open the washer lid. We added a small closet to house our softener and the door sticks everytime we open it. They did hang an entrance door and that seemed to go OK. The doors were not painted The cabinets they painted and hung in January already have nicks and scratches. The owner was Parks Sr, Parks Jr, and Shawn. The most helpful was Parks Jr. Sr. was very nasty when you state a concern to him. Shawn used language that I felt was very unprofessional when we requested that they remove the trim and replace it so it could be painted correctly. We were not 100% satisfied but paid them so they would just leave. They would show up some days and other days you would have to call and find out where they were and if they were coming. They always had an excuse, but after awhile it was getting old. I can honestly say that almost everything they did was done twice. They were very argumentative if you asked any questions about their work. We had planned on using them for our bathrooms but after the laundry room fiasco, there was no way. We make sure to let anyone we know that is looking for renovations to NOT use AIS. Very unsatisfied with their work, professionalism, and customer service. Last complaint is that their works smoke in the garage and in the yard leaving their cigarette butts behind. Yuck.!

quality repair, professional employees, fair price, superb materials

I am not sure how construction would have gone, since I didn't get an estimate in four weeks.

We have a townhouse with an adjoining roof. My neighbor and I agree to pay for a porch replacement together. She found AIS and I was pleased with the price of the estimate at $700 for 150 sq ft porch....but the estimate stated that 65% was due PRIOR to any work being started. I called Dennis King (who provided the estimate and was very nice) & explained my surprise at needing to pay this large amount prior to any work being completed. He said he would try to get that reduced or waived and understood. This was a small job and a job that would be done in a few hours. He called me back and the company was still requiring 65% OF THE MONEY PAID IN ADVANCE...of even materials being on the job site. This was a HUGE RED FLAG!!! Something like what you hear about on the new warnings about companies that requires such a huge amount up front!! I understand they may get people who don't pay but that is an absurd policy. I own many properties and have and would never pay this amount in advance. In over 20+ years in real estate I have never seen a pre-payment with a percentage this high in advance. Just thought others may not want to waste time and know this company policy in advance.

We never had a chance to use their services because they blew us off.

Called on Monday regarding a leaky roof. AIS was out on Tuesday and fixed the problems.

When replacing roof on my house, they covered up rotten plywood when they were told directly from me,(the owner) to replace all rotten wood. The wood around the chimney is so rotten that it crumbles. The replaced the flashing around the chimney where the rotten wood is. They saw it and covered it up instead of replacing it. I saw the rotten wood myself when I was doing something to my chimney. I walked on the roof. There are several soft spots, again more cover ups. I called the company and spoke to Parks Davis who is the owner. He pulled my file and said the wood was not replaced which I already knew that. He really didn't believe what I said. He was making up excuses. I told him I had several roofers look at the roof to verify the damages and he said, "why didn't they fix it". I told him it was his responsibility. They covered up rotten wood instead of fixing it properly. Now 11 days later, Parks Davis, the owner, has blown me and the problem off. I called everyday since Aug 1st, I've documented everything. I have left messages and the few times I did speak to him, he blew me off and said I'll call you back. Never has he called me back. Horrible company to use. I have pictures to prove that I have rotten wood and it was covered up. A sorry pathetic company!

At first, everything seemed fine. Fast responses, lots of "can do" commitment type. It was extremely painful to get information. I was told several times that "they would be in contact" to discuss the house. No calls, ever. I tried to follow up four times but it was clear I was not taken seriously. The property was visited twice and after 10 weeks I still have no quote or even a personal call to update me on the situation. At first I was told they would quote it, and wanted to do it unbiased so they did not ask for my budget. Then a week later, they said I need to say how much I have to spend in order for them to quote it. Communication lacked, and they missed on every commitment they made. This was discouraging and I am frustrated on this entire ordeal.
