Accurate Chimney & Fireplace

Saw Accurate Chimney do nice repair @ neighbors. Reviewed website and contacted for inspection. John & Matthew answered my questions & provided pamphlets of sealing products. Inspection & quote 5/18/23. Primary work on 6/1. Thoroughly removed black growth, repaired cracks, & applied appropriate sealers. The sealers are guaranteed & will protect for years. John & Mathew communicated well & stayed on schedule.

They were able to come earlier than expected which I was placed on the waiting list. They were in and out within 30mins which was skeptical. John & Tylor were the technicians who showed up and one of them was in training. I tried contacting them today due to the uncleanliness of my chimney. It was not a good cleaning and they patched the cracks with refractory cement. I let it cure for 48 hours as they requested and started a fire. The next day I went to clean up the fireplace and you saw the cracking of the cement pealing away & have come apart from the insert. I called them this morning and nobody returned my call. The have taken my money. This is very unprofessional of them and I will be seeking a lawyer while reporting to BBB for bad service. Also I still have not received any video of drone to inspect before and after pictures.

Went very well. The work was paid under insurance claim and they worked with me on getting all the necessary information to the insurance company. Work was completed in a few hours. Very satisfied with the work. Charlie was great to work with as with all the other workers.

The Accurate Chimney rep was friendly and professional. He inspected and cleaned our chimney. He was very careful to not leave anything dirty and was respectful of our property. We will definitely use this great company again!

Charlie and the guys were great! From the time I called until the inspection, cleaning and repairs were done it was less than a week - they scheduled me quickly. The guys took the time to explain thoroughly what needed done and why. The pictures they took of the top of the chimney were helpful to see what the damage was. They wore shoe covers and masks the entire time while in the house.

Accurate Chimney sealed the leak and since all the recent rain our fireplace has been been totally dry. We just enjoyed a nice cozy fire. They were clean and professional and guarantee the work for 10 years.

Accurate Chimney & Fireplace have done a couple jobs for me. Charlie & Kevin did my chimney/crown work & then Charlie & Charlie Sr. did my fireplace work. They're all great guys & are very knowledgeable, professional, friendly & have very reasonable prices. I was very happy with the work they did. Charlie offered great advice & recommendations. Two people were sent out and they did a great job. One person inspected outside while the other cleaned inside. Price was very reasonable and I would recommend to others.

The owner Charlie and his dad came out. Very customer focused, listened to our concerns and questions. Excellent job at sweeping out the fireplace and chimney. Took pictures, showed us what they were seeing. Made recommendations, gave tips and ideas. No pushy sales, just shared info and did the job very well. Very nice family team. It was a pleasure doing business with Charlie. Inspected the chimney and explained the repairs needed without a sales pitch to replace items that didn't need replaced. Did make the necessary repairs and managed to find a brand new ash dump door for a 30 year chimney that definitely needed replaced. We only addressed the exterior this time around, but certainly intend to use this company again for a good cleaning. I contacted this company to get a sweep & inspection of a 28 year old chimney that had never been service before. Upon inspection they noted signs of water leakage on inside of fireplace. They discovered loose flashing & some missing bricks from chimney shoulder and suggested that these areas needed repair to prevent further water damage. Estimate of repairs seemed appropriate & the work was completed timely.

Charlie and two of his employees did all the work over several hours. They paid attention to detail, were very professional and polite. Replacing the chimney cap was an added bit of work that we requested, and they graciously did it on the spot. Our chimney looks new again! Proof of insurance was provided by Charlie when requested. We will absolutely use Accurate Chimney again, and will definitely recommend them to friends if asked.

He did a good job and found some minor problems he said he could fix. He took pictures and went up on the roof to check that as well. He was very thorough and our experience was good.

It went well. They offered to tuck point other chimney while they were up there as part of original price. They removed all the fallen bricks from the roof and all the detritus that caused water to collect and leak through. Very satisfied with the work they did.

The chimney cap was installed and other services (flashing, crown repair, and waterproofing) were done, as well. Everything was done in one visit.

Due to water leaking, the bottom of the fireplace needs major repair. I called quite a few companies, but very few companies working on this issue. One company even suggested that I needed to rebuild the whole chimney which cost several thousand. Charlie came and did a thorough investigation including going up to the roof. He found out that the company (Kicking Ash Chimney service) replaced my chase cover last year but did not screw 2 of the 3 chase cover screws! Charlie and his team called before coming to fix all the issues. They work very hard in a hot afternoon for several hours to complete all the issues. After finishing the work, they clean up everything well and showed me the tasks they had done and sent me photos of the work on the top of the chimney. I was very impressed by the quality of the work. I will definitely hire them again.
