+ -1 moreThe termite bait stations did not detect any termite activity during the first year, except around a storage shed. They put the treated bait that the termites take back to the colony to kill it at that location. Since the first year I have paid for their annual contract renewal to keep the monitoring traps in place to make sure no termites show up. They monitor the traps monthly, and move or install new ones if foundations plantings or other changes around the house make new traps necessary. The Sentricon system is not cheap, but I believe only putting out poison where and when necessary is preferable to putting it everywhere. Also the idea of using a minimal amount that the termites take back to their colony where they feed it to each other to kill the colony seems to me the most effective and environmentally responsible way to deal with them.
Description of Work: Brown installed and monitored a Sentricon termite detection system around my house.
