Stan Hibler

Stan is like a family member now. He has always been courteous, professional, neat and detailed. Paint work is flawless and will fix what you don't like without hesitation. Paper work is terrific. Painted wall corners and changes from one color to another are expertly done.

Stan did a wonderful job--the portions of the house he painted look much better than the rest of the house, which was painted a few years ago and never looked as good as Stan's portion does. He carefully filled and sealed cracks (and pointed out to us some places where we were starting to get water problems), and then applied the paint. It's neat as a pin. Very pleasant to work with. This was an outside job, and we've had a lot of rain lately, so I can't really comment on punctuality (it was impossible to predict when this would get done), but I can say that Stan kept us informed by e-mail every morning as to whether he was going to come out that day.

Great! I had Stan do a lot of painting and wall-papering for me about 15 to 20 years ago, and it was always excellent. Then when I needed a painter about ten years after that, I couldn't find his listing anymore. I was *thrilled* to discover his ad again in the local suburban paper a couple of months ago, and immediately hired hired him for painting the guest room, which he did today. Ours is an old house, with a lot of issues such as hair-line cracks, chipped plaster, etc., so it wasn't easy to make this room look great, but Stan succeeded. His ceiling lines and very straight and overall the job is the neatest of any painter I have ever hired. He's polite and fun to talk to, and very neat. I imagine that he hasn't shown up on Angie's List before because he lives outside of the Columbus metro area, but he is very willing to come into Columbus and its suburbs to give estimates and do the work. (I live in central Worthington.)
