Description of Work: Downey's Carpet Care of Granville cleaned 2 area rugs in my home that had been soiled by a very bad dog. There was a strong smell of dog urine on the wool rugs and John Downey, president of the company, indicated they would do their best to clean the rugs. His sons, Sean and Jake, did a fantastic job on both rugs. The spots from the urine are gone and the rugs no longer smell. They told me if I smell an odor when the rugs dry, to call them and they would return to clean them again...no charge the second time. It has been over a week and there is no odor and both rugs look great. I also received a follow up letter from Mr. Downey a few days after the cleaning was completed to thank me for using their company. This is a family owned company that I would highly recommend...first class service all the way!

+ -1 moreThis was a completely wonderful experience. he day was perfect for having carpet cleaned, warm and dry, and the carpet was dry by that evening. John and Kevin were a delight and got my carpet cleaner than it has been in years. They were even able to get out a couple of stains that previous carpet cleaning companies had not been able to remove. I have been considering having the carpet replaced soon but after this cleaning I'm sure it will serve for several years to come. I highly recommend this company and always plan to call them in the future for my carpet cleaning needs. They do not charge for travel and offer a 10% senior discount. These gentlemen are people you will be comfortable having in your home.
Description of Work: John and his son Kevin cleaned the carpet in the great room, master bedroom, bathroom, 1 flight of stairs, plus a foyer, hall, and stair landing.
