Description of Work: Install Unilock Patio, Fireplace, Seating Wall, Pillars, Grill Surround,Vinyl Pergola, Lighting,Landscape Materials and Beds. It went very well, as the workers are extremely knowledgeable, and did a great job.

Description of Work: I bought a $50 consultation, was hoping for a computer rendering of what they had in mind. Didn't take pictures, no computer, suggested we take out what we already have and replace with new. It definitely should have been free. Very disappointed. I waited almost a year to write this, because I didn't want to write in haste.

Description of Work: Was a bit pricey for the proposed work, however he was willing to 'work' with us on the price. The work he presented in the form of a drawing was very impressive and exactly what we were looking for and unfortunate we could not have the work completed.

Description of Work: I was very impressed with the design for my front yard, and I have hired 1st Impressions to do the recommended landscape work.

Description of Work: We paid for planning and evaluation of landscaping through Angie's List from 1st Impressions, and decided to have the actual work completed by them as well. I'm happy to report that they did a fantastic job redoing the landscaping along the entire front of our house. They were very clear in the design drawings, and the results match exactly.

Description of Work: I paid 50.00 for what should have probably been a free estimate. I was told that I could spend 3000.00- 4000.00 for my backyard drainage problem. He explained in detail what could be done to solve my problem . All very expensive. He was at my house for about 20min.

Description of Work: I needed design and installation work done on the front and side of the house. John did a fantastic job explaining what would work and what wouldn't and drew a sketch of what it would look like. He was very open and honest about the cost , they came when we had scheduled and it looks beautiful. I was also impressed with his follow up and care information- that was very helpful. I've recommended them to others and will probably use them on other areas of my property.

Description of Work: We purchased an outdoor living space evaluation. Jake came out and was prompt and thorough. He conferred with us for an hour, and later submitted a proposal of what we discussed. We did not move forward with it, because it was out of our budget range - no big surprise. It seemed like a good deal for the price. Although we did not go ahead with the it, what we learned from Jake was so helpful. He gave us suggestions and pointers, and a quick education on what we could reasonably do. What he told us really motivated us to do it by ourselves, and we are thrilled that we did. We got every penny out of the evaluation he gave us. We will definitely call 1st Impressions when we are ready to move to the next level!

Description of Work: I paid for a consultation and plan. I met with the contractor. I have heard nothing since and never did get a written plan. I am not sure what I paid for.

Description of Work: The agreed upon shrubs were installed after removal of dead ones. Works was done quickly. There was no written plan beyond the description of work to be done.

Description of Work: Company rep Jake thoroughly examined a lousy backyard and came up with a great solution. Measured, took pictures and gave a rough cost estimate. Is following up with a computer-generated concept drawing and a formal estimate. Also gave us a rough timeline as to when work could start. Jake was pleasant and professional. It was an enjoyable experience!

Description of Work: Tried several times to contact them but they did not return calls or reply to email contact. In fairness I suppose they may just be fully booked but it would have been nice to have them tell me that so I didn't waste time waiting for them. It's a shame too since it seems like they generally get good reviews and I have quite a bit of work they could have done.

Description of Work: Patio & sidewalk stamped concrete: Pattern was not straight, they hit a sprinkler line but they eventually repaired it.

Description of Work: We had four large Lilac shrubs transplanted into beds that John and his crew established and landscaped. They also then landscaped the large bed in front of the porch adding numerous boxwood shrubs and flowers etc.. In order to give the best possible outcome on transplanting such large bushes, John completed the job within four days of our 'good luck' in contacting him. They did an excellent job, also transplanted a Rose of Sharon tree in my backyard . .
