About us

Price Heating & Cooling is a small 3rd generation family owned business that has been serving the Mahoning Valley for over 79 years. We specialize in the repair, maintenance, and installation of residential and light commerical heating, cooling, zoning, and geo-thermal systems. We have 14 employees with a combined 205 years of experience. We maintain licences in all communities, counties were needed, and through the State of Ohio. Our local licence numbers are available through the counties and our State licence number is 33376. We provide service on a flat rate basis and have a service fee of $65 for residential and commercial service. We offer 24 hour emergency heating service with a service fee of $98 evenings and Saturday and $130 Sunday and holidays. We offer a prepaid maintenance agreement for as low as $23 a month that includes service discounts and a loyalty program that accrues points towards new equipment, (2) equipment checks as well. Description of Work: Our furnace stopped working, and we called them to diagnose the problem. They ordered the part, and replaced the electronic control board (which I call it), which caused the furnace to work well. This price also included the service agreement, which also gave us the 10% discount. The service man was named Tom, who explained everything that we wanted to know, well. We rate their service very, very high. Glad that we found them. We were happy to have a comfortable home that was warm!😊

Description of Work: Serviced furnace first (recently bought home as foreclosure) and found about 10 gas leaks . Second day came back and repaired all gas leaks, about 3.5 hours.

Description of Work: Price did a tune-up on our furnace preparing it for winter. The service man replaced 2 hoses and cleaned out the interior of the furnace. They called the day before to remind us of the appointment (the window was between 11 am and 2 pm). Our service man called us when he was on his way to our house and gave us his name. When he arrived, he handed us his calling card and covered his shoes! He was friendly, quick and efficient. We will definitely use Price for our heating and cooling needs in the future. Job well done!

Description of Work: Air conditioning did not work. I called and they came out the same day and arrived almost exactly when they said they would. The person/persons were very polite and helpful. They went the extra mile and checked other things that could also cause problems. They did the work and everything still works with not problems.

Very well, no problems whatsoever.
Description of Work: Installed a new gas 95% furnace and a 13 seer airconditioner. Removed old oil furnace and installed the gas line from the meter to the furnace. Installed a new thermostat and explained in great detail the use of it.

Description of Work: He repaired a circuit board and saved me $350. He could have replaced it like most service people but was able to find a cold solder joint and re soldered it. He also fixed a leak in my condensate hose. He did this within an hour of calling him on a saturday night....all for just over $100. Great guy...great service
