We contacted Groover for an estimate for roof replacement. He came out promptly, but took over 2 weeks to get back to us with the estimate. Then, it needed to be redone because he forgot to include the skylights. We also requested info on siding replacement, which we wanted to have done in the spring. They never sent it or contacted us after they mailed the contract which we did not sign.

It was a pleasure working with Groover and they did a first rate job in replacing the existing roof on my duplex. They showed up with a large team and were able to complete the entire job (Including tear-off) in one day.

The workers performing the work were good and polite but the company was not honest with me.

They are more expensive but they come when they tell you they will, bring the crew when they tell you & clean up everything when they’re done. You have to know that it’s going to cost you more money, but it was definitely worth it to not have to worry about calling to check on them, or worry about whether they’re doing the job right or when they’re going to show up. I’ve never had to call back for a leak or shingles coming off. They didn't cover up old wood & actually showed me what plywood & boards needed to be replaced before they covered everything up. I really appreciated that attention to detail. I had no headaches when this was over. I’ve seen his work since my job & it still looks good. They really do do quality work.

They showed up very promptly and had the whole job done in 4 hours. Clean-up was done in a very thorough manner with minimal damage to landscaping. Workers were responsive and worked without breaks.

they replaced my roof in fine fashion. the entire job took them five hours but i had to hound them for four months after i contracted them to come and do it. i don't like to have to beg if i'm paying. while they were at it i had them replace my spouting. they screwed up the one stipulation i had--that i expressed to four different people--and they had to redo it.. the guys doing the work acted like i was trespassing on their property. after all was said and done, the job was completed satisfactorily, i guess, but i imagine i could have had it done with less stress by someone else.

We agreed upon a price of $13,000.00 for the project. They came out to have me sign the contract and the price jumped up to $19,500.00. I asked them 5-6 times about the price, I thought we agreed upon the price of 13 several times. I told them I was planning on having sidewalk work done, siding and windows as well, they still were not willing to budge on the price. The owner called and said it was an honest mistake and brought the price down to $17,000.00. I felt like they were trying to take advantage.

COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, THEY WORK LIKE A WELL OILED MACHINE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

Groover honored the estimate that had been provided to the previous owner before we bought the house. They assisted us in selecting the right color for our roof, to match the part that was not being replaced at this time. As other reviewers have said, these workers were fast and professional, and left no mess whatsoever. My house is very close to my neighbor's driveway and she was concerned that there would be nails or debris there, but it was clean as a whistle. We did discover a few months later when we were having the gutters covered that the guys left a piece of equipment on the roof! But they came right away to get it, and we all had a good laugh. I would not hesitate to recommend this roofer.

I was very satisfied with quality of work, the price and the overall professionalism of the Groover organization. I will use them again for any work on my home.

This company was very honest with me in telling me that they do not clean out gutters. I would not hesitate to call this company in the future.

The experience could not have been better. They found the color I wanted ......did the job on the day they said the would - roof looks great!!! I was extremely happy.

They did a very good job. Roof was torn off and complete new roof system was installed in just one day. There was a foreman present at all times to see that everything was done correctly. The quality of the work was excellent. Gutters and downspouts were replaced the next day. There were a couple minor issues I noticed after the job was done. They came back the same day I called them to take care of the problems. Excellent roofing company. Well worth the cost.

They are local and they are close to my house. The estimate amount was about $3750.

This company was wonderful! We have been trying to get this problem solved for quite a while. Nobody else could figure out what the problem was or how to solve it. They diagnosed it immediately. Now, when it rains, water isn't running down the house and against the foundation. They were beyond competent, quite courteous, and entirely professional. I would definitely recommend Groover to anyone.

They were very good, prompt and friendly. This company left absolutely no mess, came on time and finished at about the time they said they would. From the time I signed my contract it was only days before they were here to finish the job. I did not have a long wait. I will use them again in the future.

salesman arrived promptly; prepared a proposal, we said it was over over budget. the owner called us to discuss. we came to an agreement which included new gutters with leaf guards (a bonus). the weather did not permit the job to get done before Christmas which was what we were hoping for. But as promised as soon as the ice melted the crew came over & got the job done efficiently.

Very prompt and profession in quoting and scheduling the job, and getting a crew out to perform the work. One member of the crew was delayed, but the others kept at it to complete the job on schedule. Two concerns keep me from giving an Excellent rating: First, the new gutter looks to the naked eye a little off-center. However, that may be a trick of perspective, and we haven't had enough rain since to tell whether it works as intended. Second, when mowing the grass my son nearly mowed over one of those long aluminum spikes that was left in the lawn -- scary! Overall, though, at least Good and maybe Very Good work.

They wanted me to leave a check when I wasn't home and I wasn't very comfortable doing that. I ended up leaving it in a back grill and someone from the company came and took it without telling the other person. It was terrible for a while. I thought someone had taken it. They apologized but they were not overly concerned. It was a considerable amount of money. Their billing was very professional. It wasn't their company that did the chimney work; they hired somebody to do that. I wasn't happy about the lost check and them really pushing me to leave it. I was really uncomfortable with that. They are a quality company.

We had to have them come back because they left leaves all over the gutters. When they called back they were extremely polite. They came right back and everything had been gone. They were very good.

The job itself was terrific , there were 12 - 15 men there i think, working on different angles of the roof at the same time, they really know what they're doing and it went very smoothly. We watched in awe as they were working because it was sooo speedy, and knew exactly where everything was to go without hesitation. ( It really was amazing since the last time we had a roof put on the same house, there were maybe 3 or 4 men and it took days and days and they'd come and go. We never knew when they'd show up) but these guys were true professionals they had it done in 1 day, which is what they advertise. They were very considerate , polite and cleaned up everything. We were very pleased. . . The owner of this company however , was another matter . He was nice at first, when we contracted for the job, but due to a 'typo error' on the final paperwork, we thought they had put on the wrong color of shingle than what we ordered because it was a different color name on our copy - we were stunned so we called him . We didn't have the 'samples' at that time, so we weren't sure if it was exactly what we picked out ---- and the roof had already been completed!!!! So we were understandably upset. After calling him, the problems began, he was abrupt, rude, and both of us talked to him and it left a REALLY bad taste in our mouths. In the end, after a worker came out and after looking at the roof, against the sample, and we were there to see it, we all decided it was the same color after all , but we wanted to make sure. If you pick a certain color, you want that color . So when you see something different on a final work order, it doesn't sit well. The worker called his boss to tell him it was the same color, even tho this man kept telling us on the phone it WAS the right color ( no ifs, ands or buts, he was blunt) but obviously he wasn't even sure otherwise why would he send his worker out later to check it out just to make sure?? He kept telling us his company doesn't make mistakes, well EVERYONE could make a mistake, no one is perfect. . He just talked down to us on the phone and we were very upset with the way we were treated by him!! I guess we insulted him. So all in all, that last telephone call with the owner was the downfall of what was initially , a great job in our eyes . We were taken back at his arrogant attitude towards us. . since in the beginning he was sooo nice!!!!! We hope we never have problems with this roof as we don't want to deal with this owner again. We had planned to put another roof on our present house but we have 2 other companies we're talking with at the present time. They will get our business, not Groover. We gave them a C rating. If it was just the workers, they would get A++++.'s. Not a pleasant experience in the end. . You don't treat your customers as rudely as we were treated and hope to get good recommendations.

While we were away for a weekend, a storm blew a tree over on our garage. The tree tore off two rows of shingles and demolished the rear gutter. We received a timely estimate and the work was done for that estimate. The only problem we had was that they could not tell us until the day they were coming to do the repair when it would be done. We were told that because it was a small job, the repair could not be scheduled and we would have to be "fit in" whenever they had time to do it. Otherwise, a terrific job. Very professional.

Unbelievably smooth!! These roofers were like a well oiled machine, and were spot on with all of their jobs. The clean up was incredibly thorough!!! We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an affordable, professional roofing company.

We got a number of estimates and one company wanted more money than we paid Groover just to do the roof. They cleaned up really well afterward. They are punctual and do really good. Their prices are very reasonable.
