DUAL PAINTING

Dual Painting is Joe Perone the elder, and his nephew, also named Joe Perone. Uncle Joe provided the estimate and work began and ended as planned. Nephew Joe did an excellent job with a difficult wallpaper job. The job was made difficult, though, because Uncle Joe did not advise us that a vertical stripe paper was not a good choice for the room. This work was done in winter '06 and there are no gaps at the seams, so we're very pleased with that aspect of the job. The painting is another story. Uncle Joe's eyesight seems to be failing, so the painting, particularly the work done in the bathroom, is really sub-standard. Nephew Joe offered to fix the mistakes. I identified the obvious problems right away but continue to find evidence of sloppy work two years later. He painted around everything; even the breast exam pamphlet hanging inside a built-in! Painting in the bedroom was just so-so and seems to have been done hastily.
