Chris and his team are the most professional, helpful and detail oriented company I have used. The kitchen had a few hiccups along the way and did take longer than expected, but Chris kept in touch and kept me informed every step of the way. He worked hard to get the situations resolved. My kitchen looks amazing.

Made suggestions for temporary and long term fix on my immediate need: a shower door had caused the tile/grout to separate at the threshhold to the shower stall. Most likely the shower door was not original to the home, but installed later. The house was built in 1945. Chris is someone I would do business with. He said the best way to fix this was to gut the stall and replace it. I don't know if I want to do that yet, so I am getting some other people to look at it. Thus far, I haven't found someone. Tile people are not appropriate for this job. Chris' company would be however, his schedule is not compatible with my immediate need to do the work.

Provider was punctual, confident, and ready to get to work. This Provider made extra efforts to address granite dust resulting from cutting the granite by installing a "Tent" around the cutting area, and by using a professional shop vac. This Provider completed the job very quickly (one hour). Upon completion, the cook top fit perfectly and did not require any additional cutting. Thank you Cobblestone Construction.

It took a tad longer than we expected, but Chris was extremely upfront, cooperative and very professional the whole time. His tile work is absolutely the best - - extremely detailed, careful, neat, and everything looks great. He helped us find an excellent painter who did some custom work for us, and we are very happy with the results. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

The company and owner were VERY responsive. I had some water damage due to pipes freezing during the winter and decided to create a master bath. Chris provided a plan and an estimate and we started demolition. Several things were found during demolition that triggered additional costs adding to the original estimate. Some of the changes involved creating an opening through a brick wall in what was previously the back of the house that had had a built on added to it. So supporting structures needed to be inserted to support the roofline. This caused a slight but manageable addition to the timeline and what I found to be a very reasonable addition to the cost. Chris and his team were super responsible and very good and professional. Everyone took such trouble in keeping dust dirt and messiness to a minimum. Everything ended up looking fantastic and being very well made and placed. I worked with Chris for designs of the flooring and paint color and the look and feel of what I was going for in a bathroom. Chris took that information and ran with it. I trusted him and his team to have free reign of the house and never once did they abuse that trust. I would wholeheartedly use Cobblestone Construction in the future without reservation. GREAT WORK!!

Chris and company were talented, punctual, professional, well-spoken, and incredibly trustworthy. Due to scheduling quirks, we actually wound up having him do the bulk of the work on our shower during a week when we were out of the country. While this is probably a fairly common setup for a disaster of summer-blockbuster proportions, we couldn't be happier with how things worked out. Before we left, Chris was in constant contact with us, allowing us to finalize the details of the work to be done, establish guidelines for dealing with surprises, and even arrange for him to call in an exterminator to deal with some possible termites right after the demolition, when the structure of the shower was exposed. When we came back from vacation, we returned to an almost-finished shower and a bathroom that looked surprisingly clean despite a week's worth of destruction and reconstruction. In the days following our return, Chris and his crew quickly finished up the project and left us with a solid, attractive shower. Furthermore, despite going a bit over budget due to some unforeseen issues with the shower, Chris only charged us the price that he originally quoted us. While we'd be perfectly happy to never have to deal with another project as large as a shower replacement, if we find ourselves faced with such a thing again, we won't hesitate to call Chris.

Chris was in communication throughout the project. Workmanship was excellent. They were not the lowest bid; however, they seemed to understand the project better than 2 other Angie's List providers.

Cobblestone did a great job. The entire team was very knowledgable and extremely professional. They kept me informed through the entire process. Our shower looks great. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Outstanding expereince

He and his company were prompt, neat, trustworthy/honest and adjusted plans to suit my ideas. Kept to his estimate. Always listened and was courteous. Did his best to finish on time. The only negative? He is now too busy to help with small projects. Too many happy customers with new kitchens/baths, etc. !

Chris and his crew are some of the most professional experts I have ever dealt with. Chris communicates extremely well with regard to project expectations, unforeseen problems, product choices, etc. and will work with you - not against you. Their work area is cleaned to spotless perfection at the end of every day before they leave. Cobblestone also uses another Angie's List provider, McHugh Plumbing (whom I have used several times in the past with excellent results), for that portion of the project. I obtained estimates from four different Angie's List providers and Cobblestone, while being 2nd lowest, came out far ahead with regard to professionalism, communication, and their ability to listen.

Cobblestone Construction LLC was very good. The crew was very diligent about leaving the house in tact. The workmanship was top-notch. They made sure to do a good job. They were one of the best contractors I have worked with.

Chris Spear and his helper were at the house when they said they would be, paid attention to detail and did good work. I hired a plumber to install the tub and shower and found Chris and his helper through him.

They removed all the tile and installed marble throughout the bathroom, very meticulous job. He also rebuilt a balcony in the back of the house, another very well done job. So he can master all kinds of jobs. The marble job was $3000, and the balcony job was a very big job and costs $5500.

Chris Spear, the owner of Cobblestone, is a consummate professional with an eye for detail. My husband and I are extremely picky, both from a workmanship as well as a professionalism standpoint. Chris did such a great job that we asked him to continue work during further renovations of two adjoining rooms.
