He took $4000.00 from me and did not complete the job, I have to hire other people to finish off the job. he threw everything, and rubbing in the yard and did not clean up the yard after. He did put the railing on the front porch as he is supposed to do. I paid $600.00 for a glossy paint but he put flat paint in my house instead, he took the glossy paint and replaced with a flat colored paint. He did not put the spindles in my door and the staircase. I bought the linoleum but he threw pieces of linoleum all over the place. The linoleum in the bathroom was not installed so I have to buy a new linoleum $250.00 myself. This guy too 2 months to finish the job, the counter top on the sink which was supposed to be cut in circle, he cut it in squares and tried to hide by caulking it. The crew that he brought into my house were crackheads, smoked marijuana in my house and let them sleep in my house. The last day, when I paid the $4000.00, he forced me to sign the contract and told me that I won't be able to move in unless he gets his money, without finishing off the job, he asked for more money after I already paid $4000.00, he claims that I still owe him money, and keeps on harassing me. He kept threatening to bring me to court and put a lien on my house.

Tony Scarboro came and quoted me for painting several rooms, patch drywall, and repair sagging soffit. He quoted me $3200 for all of the repairs, and requested 50% deposit (cash). He came on Monday July 15th and collected $1600 cash. He wrote up a contract that we both signed, stating work would begin no later than July 18th. Today is the 20th and Tony hasn’t showed up to do the job, and he’s not answering any phone calls or text messages.
