Twinscapes landscaping design tore up a rotting deck and replaced it with the patio of our dreams!!! There was not only the deck but a retaining wall, privacy wall and shrubery to rip up. Sam drew up the design but was VERY open to any and all changes we wanted. Him and his crew were punctual and professional! They were also extremely quick the entire project only took them 3 days. Once the patio was done they reseeded any lawn that had been damaged and helped us with a few other issues we had been having around our yard. We highly recommend this company!

Nate from Twinscapes designed a gorgeous patio, retaining wall, landscaping and stairway to give us a larger, more useful outdoor area. He suggested materials, allowed us to go see them and make final decisions. He was very creative and financially responsible in designing the space. His team was hard working, considerate to neighbors and us, and took pride in their work. Even when flat tires on their truck happened repeatedly (due to the heavy loads of stone and railroad ties) and the summer rains downpoured on the project--they got the work done well and in an amazingly short time. I am telling all my neighbors, family, and friends about this awesome company/people.

He was about a half an hour late to the estimate appointment, but he called ahead. He gave me the estimate in less than a week. I asked my friend who is a gardener if the price seemed fair. My friend said the price was good for the work. I asked him if there was any work I could do myself to bring down the price. He has not replied.

The job went beautifully. The patio looks like a new patio and the steps are a definite improvement over what we had. Sam did a nice job matching the pavers in the new steps to what we have in the patio. Sam had suggested that we could put lights in the steps and we are glad we did. They add beauty and safety. We are very satisfied with the work Sam and his crew did and are enjoying the patio again.

Nate was very easy to work with. He had great ideas and was able to make them look wonderful. He didn't want to make a turn around all pavers but was able to make our patio look nice yet still make it usable as a turn around in the winter.

I was looking for a company to put down pavers on a relatively small walkway in front of our house we are updating. I had already taken the old path out and wanted someone to put down the new path as well as haul away the old concrete. It was difficult to find any company that wasn't booked a month or more out. When I contacted DJ at Twinscapes, he was excellent from the start. He was able to work my project in on the weekend, was very informative throughout the process, and quick with the job. The end result was very nice, the cleanup was good, and the price was more than fair. He was easy to work with and I would definitely use him and Twinscapes again.

Sam responded to my inquiry quickly and came out within a few days to check things out and provide an estimate. His estimate was the lowest I received, and I was comfortable with him as a service provider because of professionalism and existing reviews and photos of his work online. One of the other service providers who estimated my job actually gave his own endorsement of Twinscapes' work, too! I am so thrilled with how the new walkway turned out. It blends very well with the existing (few years old) patio, and is gorgeous and flawless! I was also impressed that the grass seed used was a high-quality, moisture-managing variety, to give me a better chance at successfully growing grass in late July. I am so happy with the work that Sam and his crew did and would call on them again without hesitation.

Nate and his team are professional, workhorses, timely, and very responsive to questions and concerns. We were also impressed by Nate's experience and vision, which influenced the design and resulted in an end product that looks great. We would highly recommend Twinscapes and would definitely call upon them again.

Sam and his crew did an OUTSTANDING job. We couldn't be happier. We obtained 8 quotes and Sam was able to give us the most for our money. He was always responsive to my questions and had our best interest in mind all the time. It took 5 days to complete the project working at least 8 hours each day. It was hot that week yet that did not slow them down. They always cleaned up very well at the end of the day. Sam provided us with great tree and plant suggestions and everything looks AMAZING! Our neighbors love it too!! If we ever move again, Sam will be doing the landscaping and patio for sure. Thanks Sam!

Nate and his team gave me a great estimate and put in a really nice patio that looks like flagstone. They were all very neat and so nice to my kids who wanted to watch. Everything was done quickly and professionally. I thought I knew what I wanted but Nate's ideas were way better and came in cheaper.

Sam was very professional. He demonstrated a vast knowledge of plants and trees and created a beautiful landscape around our pool and patio area. He was there throughout the project working right alongside his crew. He responded to calls immediately and completed the project faster than projected. I would definitely use this company again for both hardscape and landscape needs.

After waiting two weeks for an estimate, which Nate indicated would be forthcoming, I left a voice mail for him asking for a status on the estimate. No return phone call came so I after several days I sent an email to the address published on their website and on the business card left with me during the estimate appointment. 10 days later there has been no response. (I should also mention that last fall I attempted to contact via phone for another landscaping job that I was involved in....they did not return that phone call either.) As a previous business owner, I am dumbfounded by these sloppy business practices and can only translate this behavior to a potentially sub-par work process. If they were not interested in the job, which is a sizable piece of work, a display of respect would call for at least informing me that they were passing on the job. My attempting to involve them in this project was a waste of time and a source of frustration by assuming in error that I was reaching out to professionals.

When we were first interviewing contractors we were impressed with Nate McDowell's enthusiasm and vision for our project. We had a rough idea of what we wanted, but not sure what design was actually possible. We wanted a curved edge patio with a separate area with a fire ring. After seeing pictures of some of Twinscape's other projects, we decided to add the curved seating wall with capped end pillars. Although we couldn't imagine all the design aspects, we trusted that Nate would not disappoint us. He and his crew knocked out our patio in three days and we couldn't believe the end result. We have always wanted an outdoor area to enjoy, and Twinscapes delivered! It is probably the best investment since buying our house. We highly recommend Twinscapes and have a few other projects that we will be calling them back for.

Nathan and his crew were wonderful. Arrived on a Sat. and completed all the work in one day. I was amazed as were all my neighbors. I would highly recommend his business to do your next job. Nathan has an eye for accessing your space and coming up with the right plan.

Twinscapes came to me as a referral. I had received estimates from 5 different landscape companies and went with Nate at Twinscapes based on my referral, Angies List rating, and his promptness in getting me the estimate and starting the work. His price was very competitive but I was more concerned with the work being done right. His team showed up when they said they would and put in 10 hours on the first day alone. They had the entire patio installed within 2 1/2 days total and the entire job was done insluding the landscaping after 3 days. I am confident that this wouldn't have happened with any of the other companies. Twincapes will be highly recommended by me to all family and friends looking for a paver patio. They do a great job from design to final clean up.

Everything went great overall. Sometimes we might have to wait a bit to get an email back from Nate, but he always did what he said he would! The workers were all very professional and worked very hard and continuous (except for breaks of course). They also were very nice to our two young boys who were fascinated with the project. When they arrived Nate told us he had been thinking and wanted to change a part of the original design. We told him to go with his idea They even went above and beyond with putting some nice stone (but different to add nice character) to frame in our salsa garden that is right next to the patio with top soil. Nate had suggested in his original plan to make the opening to our existing deck bigger (he was the only one who suggested this). THey also built beautiful steps off our deck.

I called and reached Sam and asked for an estimate. He came out promptly and discussed the design with me, making some very appropriate suggestions. Sam promised to get back to me with an estimate and in the mean time I got two other estimates from highly rated companies. Sam got back to me within the timeframe he promised and gave me the lowest estimate apples to apples. I chose to go forward with Twinscapes due to Sam's knowledge, demeanor, price, and enthusiasm to earn my business, as well as price and rating on Angie's List. They got the patio done on schedule and the results were beyond my high expectations. The attention to detail and overall quality of work are second to none. Sam made sure I was 100% satisfied before I paid him. As an example of the way he does business and how important customer satisfaction is, after completing the work Sam noticed some very minor scrapes in the surface of my driveway. He pointed them out to me, explained what happened, and offered to knock $200 off my bill to pay for driveway sealant service. I would never have noticed the scrapes but he couldn't live with the knowledge that he left something like that and insisted he have the chance to make it right. I have and will continue to recommend Twinscapes to anyone looking for hard scape work.

Our friends and family cannot stop talking about the unique design of our patio. They have never seen anything like it. Instead of doing the standard "square" installation of the pavers, Nate takes his special design and applies it to the patio to form an interesting pattern and arches look great on the ground. The rounded steps are a must, and trust us when we say our dog now has the top step claimed as her favorite resting place. Please be patient with these guys, as they work non-stop and may not be the quickest to respond. But attention to detail sets them apart, and you will not be disappointed.

A great company with great workers. Nate had lots of ideas of what would look good as to the design--very talented. We also were surprised at the reasonable price we were quoted. Part of that was because we chose a paver style that Nate let us know was on sale at the time. We felt we were dealt with honestly and with integrity. A very good experience.

I have been talking to Nate for last couple of years for this patio. Finally this year I decided to go ahead and build it. His price quotation was extremely competitive, better than couple of other companies i spoke with. On top of better price, I just felt like he was very upfront and transparent about everything, so I decided to go ahead and use his company to build our patio. He gave me a date when he would start building (5 days from when we signed up) and that morning the paver guys drove in to drop the pavers. I was very happy to see the punctuality. Everything went extremely well after that. Nate and his team worked on the patio for next 5 days and got it done looking better than what i had expected. He is very committed to his work and i could tell that him and his team enjoyed doing this. Throughout the building process, he was working with me to make sure they were building what i wanted. I asked him to add some color pavers and made some changes here and there in the middle of the project and he was very accommodating. Nate definitely knows customer service. He has a good sense of design too, added some curves in the layout to make it look better. I There were few places where he had to put in extra material to make it look better and he did it without charging me extra for it. I could feel that it was not all about profit for him, he really wanted my patio to come out perfect and it did. I am extremely pleased with the patio. The look, quality and design, everything is just perfect. I will highly recommend him.

No work was performed because no one showed up at the scheduled time to do the estimate.

Twinscapes is BY FAR one of the BEST companies I have ever used for anything home related (which is saying a lot as my husband and I are fixing up a 130 year old house that had not been maintained for a long time!). Sam from twinscapes suggested sitting walls for our retaining walls (which we LOVE), gave us a good itemized quote and drew up a sketch of our patio. He scheduled work for the following week. Sam and his crew arrived exactly when they said they would, coordinated with the hot tub company that we had hired to remove and replace the tub (it was in a very tight spot), and got to work. They built the hot tub platform first so that the hot tub could be hooked up quickly (it was below freezing at night), and called the hot tub company. At this point the hot tub company said that they couldn't hook up the hot tub despite agreeing to do it earlier and not mentioning anything the day before about not being able to do this work. Sam was incredible. Instead of sitting back and saying it was not his problem (which is wasn't - we had scheduled the hot tub company to do this!) he noticed that the breaker had tripped for the heater that was keeping the hot tub warm, turned the heater back on, and then called me to tell me what had happened. He asked if he could hook up the tub, put the tub back in place with his awesome crew, and hooked it up for us free of charge. He then asked if it was ok if he filled it up to make sure that the pump was ok. He completely saved us, he didn't charge us anything, he is just genuinely a wonderfully kind and talented person. If he hadn't taken the time to check on the tub and taken the initiative to hook it up we likely would have lost our brand new pump to the cold weather. Aside from this, the work that twinscapes did was some of the best I have ever seen! They cut every brick so that it fit perfectly, they installed a soldier course around the patio to help define the space, chose brick colors that complimented out yard perfectly, and Sam has an incredible eye for shapes. The flow of the paths and curves of the retaining walls are all very elegant and fit perfectly with the feel of the rest of our yard! If I ever need work done again I will definitely call twinscapes without hesitation! Best company ever!

We have a somewhat small yard, but it became overgrown. The birch tree was planted too close to the sunroom and needed to be removed. We have a nice paver patio but wanted to add a fire pit so expanded the patio to accommodate this. One of our spruces had died and that was replaced with a beautiful new old. My perennial garden was cleaned and several plants were replanted elsewhere throughout the other beds in the yard. Several overgrown bushes were removed and new ones planted. Twinscapes worked throughout the 5 days to complete the job, working closely with me, as I'm an avid gardener. The rose bed was relocated, hostas,in a new location, and a new setting for my swing. The yard now looks larger, more open and a beautiful place to enjoy the outside, play, and have a roasted marshmallow.
