Twinscapes was one of the best experiences I have had dealing with landscapers. I called about 6 companies off of Angies List. Only 2 responded and 1 (Twinscapes) came out. From the start they were professional, polite, and creative. They kept in constanst communication with us. When I asked about possibly moving the job up a week, they were very flexible and completed the job within a day. My wife and I were very pleased and would definitely recommend Twinscapes to others.

We had a dilapidated deck, and hardly ever used our backyard space, but were not really sure what type of patio we wanted. We got several estimates/proposals from well-known landscaping companies in town. One of the contractors was "too busy" that season, and referred Twinscapes to us. We were extremely lucky to get the referral, because I don't think I would have found the company otherwise. There are many things that impressed us about this company. Not only were the guys professional, courteous, punctual, and efficient, but they delivered on every promise that they made. I am usually very critical about things, and am very vocal when I believe a job is not done right. Nate and Sam own the company and were there every day not just "on site", but DOING THE WORK. Also we were quite impressed with Nate's originality in design. Nate's design talent and horticulture background completely transformed our outdoor space into something special. Designs proposed from other companies offered nice symmetric patios with straight lines and edges. Nate's design incorporated curves that fit in with our existing plant beds and trees, and was best suited for true outdoor living. He also added plantings, sod, and lighting to the entire backyard. A pergola was built over the patio as well, with a hanging outdoor fan. We couldn't be happier with our new space. Shortly after the patio was built, we hosted a couple of events that speak to the versatility of our space-- one was an outdoor party with 70 guests and a live rock band, and the other was a journal club with 30 participants (with seating for 12 on our existing patio furniture, the rest of the guests were able to use the seat walls to listen to the lecture!).

Perfect from start to finish; started with creative ideas and options; quick, efficient and thorough removal of old patio and creation of new patio with fire pit and created an awesome water option. Also provided a new flagstone front walk up with steps and lighting. it is completely fabulous!

We were exceptionally pleased with the work! Twinscapes reviewed their proposal with us in detail, and we made a few changes. They started work on schedule, about 3 weeks after we agreed on the proposal. Originally the estimate was 2-3 days to complete the work, but they managed to finish everything in just 2 long days, working from before 9am to about 7pm. All the transplants and removals took place the 1st day, and the lawn for the new sod was cleared and prepped. Planting was completed on the 2nd, along with all the mulching and laying the new sod. The brick walkway was completely redone, and is now gorgeous. Additionally, Twinscapes dumped some rock into a ramp going into the shed, since they noticed that the rock content was low. We inspected everything after the 1st day, and made some minor adjustments. We asked that an overgrown tree be removed and replaced with some additional plants, and added 2 shrubs to help disguise the A/C unit. All was completed the 2nd day as agreed. They even mulched some shrubs at the edge of the property that we hadn't expected to be mulched. Overall we could not be more pleased with the result, and would readily recommend Twinscapes for landscape work.

Fabulous! Nate designed a stunning backyard for us. He listend to my wish list then came up with the perfect design. We wanted to have a water feature, but I couldn't imagine how it would fit in. No problem for Nate and Sam. They have incredible ideas and the skills to turn the ideas into reality. Nate and Sam were both on the job every day - punctual, responsive, neat, professional, courteous. We love our patio, and we are so happy we hired Twinscapes Landscaping to do the job. We absolutely would highly recommend this company. Superior service and quality work.

This whole experience went better than we could have imagined. Sam McDowell came out and gave his opinions after listening to the few requirements we wanted. He was great to work with and we appreciated his suggestions. Their quote was very reasonable. What we liked about Sam was that he was very easy to work with, his quote was easy to understand, only included exactly what we wanted (other quotes we more weighted towards the plants/bushes....things we didn't want to deal with right away) and was very clear and concise. Once the work started, it was amazing how quickly they finished the patio and walkway and mulch beds. Sam, Nate and two other guys worked extremely hard and finished it within a day and a half. I figured it would take a week. They cleaned up when they were done. We have received many compliments from our neighbors and friends on the patio. One of our neighbors was amazed at how quickly they did it. They then came out a month or so later and spread the topsoil and grass. The grass is now fully grown and looks great.

We had started the lay a paver walkway in our front yard. We thought we could do it in a weekend, but the excavating ended up taking the entire weekend. We were not able to finish the project due to time issues. I emailed several companies for estimates on finishing up the project (we had already excavated and we already had the pavers. The contractor needed to provide the paver base material, edging, joint sand and labor). Nate was one of eleven contractors that responded and provided estimates. His price was by far the best. Nate was able to work with us to squeeze in our job in order to have it done by our deadline.

We were very pleased with the procedure and pricing of this company. Twinscapes arrived on time for both the estimate and the work. The job took them 3 days and each day they were here on time and worked about 10 hours each day. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. Both Nate and Sam were very professional in both presentation and work ethics. We had used this company a year ago and were so pleased that we called them for this job. Their estimates are always fair and competitive. Many of our neighbors have also hired them to do landscaping projects for them based on their performance here.
