I could not have wished for the process to have gone smoother or with more dedication. The ground needed to be dug out and leveled before the installation of the two front walls could begin. Although they were not very high 2" in general, they were long, 25' on the one side and 15' on the other. The front beds were an additional 20' apiece to be aligned with natural stone. All in all over 4 ton of stone needed cut and laid out with another 3 ton of pea gravel behind it. Sam did an excellent job in organizing and installing it all. I had some specific ideas and requests in the beginning being familiar with landscaping and Sam addressed and worked with me on all of them. I trusted him for a final stone decision as I wanted the new stone to be as close as possible to the existing stone on the outside face of the house when the home was built 70yrs ago. It came out beautiful and all of my neighbors (including ones I did not know) have given me great praise. Sam's dedication, attention to detail and pride in work showed consistently throughout the project till completion. He and a small crew managed to get this done in one very long day. I will definitely use his services again and could not recommend Twinscapes higher.

Nate McDowell is one of the owners and it is Twinscapes because they are twin brothers who own it. I got several estimates. They had full time staff and the owner said that he himself would be here during the day. They came out and were very careful. They were timely. They didn’t do the job until the last week of July because they were so busy, but we were okay with that. They were very efficient and did it in two days. The owner had some good ideas when he gave us an estimate. He himself did the estimate, which I thought was good. Then he himself came out and worked with the crew. We were very pleased. We got nice comments on the work that was done in the front of our house. They charged us about $1950 for their services. The price was even higher than that, but I did some preliminary work by digging up the old pavers. I asked them as to what I could do to reduce the price. So, the owner was easy to work with. He was a very professional and a very personable young guy. He is under 30. He and his crew did a great job. They saved the grass after they dug up the area. Then they put the grass pieces back together. So, it almost looked like they didn’t do any work. They didn’t leave a big pile of dirt or anything. They had a trailer type thing and took away the dirt, debris and stones. Once they put the pavers along the driveway, they put all the grass back. It looks pretty good and I appreciated their attention to detail. I dealt with the same guy all the way through. So, I was willing to wait. Originally, the price was like $2200. He told me that he would lower the price if I paid him cash; so, that was good.

Everything went well. They were prompt, friendly, and accomodated any change that I wanted. I plan on using them next year, too.

After getting two estimates I went with Twinscapes because Sam was on the same page as me re what to plant and he gave me the lower estimate. The job was scheduled quickly and was done in one day. It looks fabulous!

We are so happy with Sam. Unlike the previous contractor, he does what he says he is going to do. He is reliable in every way. When I email or call he gets back to me in a timely manner. He starts the work when he says he will and, in my case, he finished early. The results are fantastic. Sam is very friendly and encourages questions. My husband and I plan on continuing our relationship with Twinscapes. We plan on using them for our fall and spring clean ups. And eventually, have Sam redo our front yard. We are very excited that we have found a landscaper that we can trust and rely on.

Twinscapes/Nate was very responsive during the estimate process, and turned out to be the best estimate we got. Once scheduled, the whole team arrived about 8am the first day and worked hard. Nate and his twin brother were onsite the whole time and worked with a team of about nine guys. These guys were amazing - hardworking and dedicated to doing an absolutely professional job! By the end of the first day, the front walkway was done! We've never had an experience where a contractor actually finishes ahead of our expectations! The backyard took another day because the buffet/bar was reinforced by iron bars underneath and the pavers had to be cut to fit onto the bars - truly lasting work! Also, plants were removed and moved around to other parts of the yard and the front was re-mulched and looks fantastic! Unbelievably, they were cleaned up and out of our hair in under 48 hours! We couldn't believe it! Nate was very professional and answered all our questions. We were very pleased with our experience with Twinscapes and plan on calling them again when we have other landscaping/hardscaping needs.

Nate, Sam, and the rest of the Twinscapes crew did amazing work! They had the majority of the job done in 4 days and worked through most of the following weekend putting finishing touches on our patio. At the last minute we asked them to landscape the beds and put in new plants (this was Saturday evening and Nate had everything ready to go by Monday morning!) They relocated three trees in the process. In addition to the patio area, they built stairs leading to a new sunroom and built a grill/smoker island with a backsplash. Nate included lighting in the hardscape and ran extra conduit under the patio so an outdoor music system could be added after they finished their work. These guys are unbelievable! Nate was passionate and really showed a lot of care in ensuring the aesthetics of the project were done right! We'll have them back to do other projects and would recommend them very highly! You wont be disappointed!

These guys are amazing. Where to start? (1.) When Nate showed me his original game plan for the patio, I can't say I fully understood it -- it was complex -- but I trusted him. Glad I did. Wow, it looks awesome. And they banged that sucker out QUICKLY. (2.) Nate and his team worked tirelessly. They did the whole shebang in 3 days, which is amazing, plus it was 90+ degrees on two of those days and they still worked non-stop and got it done. I can't believe how much they got done in 3 DAYS! I told my wife, "It's like one of those HGTV shows where they completely redo a backyard in just a few days." I still can't believe they got it all done so quickly. They brought a lot of people, they started early and worked late, and no one was ever just sitting around. These guys worked hard. (3.) The whole thing looks awesome. The backyard has been transformed from something that was overgrown and looked small to something that is actually quite large and looks amazing. (4.) Nate's a really nice guy. Very easy to deal with. I had a great experience with Twinscapes and would definitely use them again. In fact, I'll probably have them come back each year to do the mulching, trim things back, clean things up, etc.

I have a paver patio that was being washed away by the rain and require repair. Nate and his crew removed the pavers that were washed away and corrected the problem and replace all the paver back in place. They then added a wall to keep the problem from coming back. They also place pavers along my driveway in my front yard. My wife and I are quite happy with the work done by Twinscape. Even my neighbor was impress with their work.

Nate gave me the best estimate of the 3 providers I chose from Angie's List. He was great to work with from start to finish, and now a year later, I am still thrilled with the results!! They worked long hours in the boiling heat and were pleasant throughout the whole experience.

I can’t say enough about them. When you talk to them, they will take your ideas and transfer them for you. They listen to you. One of the twins is very knowledgeable on plants. Some of my ideas he said would over power my back yard, so he suggested and came up with some better ideas. He was very good. They are superb. They keep you well informed. They clean up every night and it’s really beautiful. The price they gave me is the best price that I have come across. The others were charging a higher amount. The quality is superb and stupendous. They are very responsive. They kept in touch through emails and phone. They are very good. They are very punctual. They come in at 9 in the morning and they usually leave between 6.30 and 7 in the evening. They are super professionals. They really listen to you. I would use their services again in the future.

Nate answered my email inquiry over the weekend and came out immediately to meet us. He listened attentively and came up with a patio and landscape design that was exactly what we wanted. The patio area is about 500 sf with a natural path and rock garden flower bed. Once we told him he got the job, he started almost immediately. He and his crew worked all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning and finished the ENTIRE job. We have never been so impressed by a contractor. Nate, Sam and the whole crew worked so hard! They were professional, considerate and very neat. We would hire them again in a second and highly recommend them.

this monday monday i emailed to remind him of it. he called right away to discuss the job and came out on thrusday to do the work. he called me at work to make sure he knew what i wanted (one long flower bed beside my house) and i told him to call if there were any issues. i didn't get any calls and when i came home i planned to use some extra dirt i had to fill in the areas where the cement had been. it looked amazing. not only had he taken up the cement, he saw the extra dirt i had in the back yard and put it in the space. he also cleaned up the area around this new bed. can't wait for warmer weather so i can work in it.

In the Fall of 2010, we decided to contact Twinscapes as a result of a bad landscaping experience with another local company while lining up our future new build project activity which included a new patio and some landscaping activity. With the help of our local land developer, neighbors, and Angie's List, we found the perfect company to provide us with our patio pavers and misc landscaping jobs. Twinscapes was quick to respond to all questions, provided a timely and comparative estimate and excellent design ideas, met with us to pick out our paver stone selections, and completed all related work within five days. This included working in less than desirable temperatures and rain. Their customer service and workmanship skills are outstanding and we will definitely use their services again.

Everything was great from start to finish. Quick return of initial phone call, estimate and design plan within a few days. Nate and his brother did the design and installation, so they were around for any questions, last minute changes. Nate has excellent plant knowledge and a great aesthetic for landscaping. They began the project just a few days after they submitted the estimate. They worked all day and finished the project in only 1.5 days. They completely transformed our landscaping into a very eye-pleasing, clean look. They were even able to move sprinkler heads as necessary. They get an A++ for their excellent customer service, quick turnaround time, design, and ability to modify plans on the fly.

Came up with a great design, worked in frigid weather to complete the job. Nate will come back in the spring to finish the landscaping. A very nice guy, a hard worker, very professional.

Even though his price was a bit higher, we chose to work with Twinscapes. They finished the job in early September. I made him order the brick from a company he had never ordered brick from previously, but I wanted an exact match. The brick company I had him use gave terrible customer service. He had offered to cut the price on the patio and even make it bigger, just to get the project started. I was planning a large outside party, and he wanted to get the job done in time, but it wasn't his fault that we were behind schedule, it was the brick company. He and his brother did a great job in 2 days once the brick finally arrived! They did a beautiful job and cleaned up well! At the last minute they added a few extra details for me, and they were very accommodating. I am hiring them again to do some work in the spring.

The process went very well. Both Nate and Sam were a pleasure to work with. They and their team were polite, clean and very hard working. They completed all of this work in just 3 days. We went to speak with three customers prior to hiring Nate and Sam, they all had very nice things to say and the quality of their work was beautiful.

This company is prompt, courteous, and cleaned everything! He had a portfolio of prior work examples. He also removed a bush by my house since we made the area larger, and they did not complain about the long digging hours. The 3 man crew worked all day. I really liked how one of the the owners, Nate, was on-site at all times instead of someone else. He was also very involved with the project.

We found Twinscapes on Angie's List a few weeks ago. Nate promptly scheduled an appointment with me and we spent about 15 minutes together walking through my general interests for the project. Nate brought along a few great ideas to shape what I had been thinking and we were off from there. He explained that work would begin about 2 weeks out, which seemed very reasonable. Sure enough, the team scheduled the project when they said they would and all work was done with in 1 day. Eve more impressive than the work itself was the service. Nate was great with sending emails to keep me aware of the start date, tips such as keeping the driveway clear for them, and he even offered to haul away a pile of branches and gravel that had accumulated during our home renovation. Outstanding team! I highly recommend their work.

I like everything about them. These guys are fabulous and I would tell others t use them. I spent $4380 on that work.

These guys were flat out awesome! They showed up early, worked like crazy, and did a phenomenal job. Sam's design was very creative, utilizing many of our existing plants and shrubs, yet added new elements and accents to our landscaping that really makes our landscaping stand out in our neighborhood. Twinscapes did more than they promised, were very flexible and accomodating, and the end result is absolutely spectacular. Twinscapes was the first to respond to our quote request (we contacted 20 different landscape firms), delivered their quote right away, nd while not the lowest priced, was very competitive. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping design and installation and hardscape work!

We had researched many companies at the Home and Garden Show and had some ideas of what we wanted. Two of the companies we spoke with placed a bid on the project; however, we were not impressed with their responsiveness or price! Then we were referred to Twinscapes from our neighbors - they had their patio installed last year and we had been impressed at how quickly the work was done and the quality and look of the job. We met with Nate and discussed what we wanted to see in the space and what was important to us. He really LISTENED to our needs and what was important to us, and gave us suggestions and recommendations based on his experience! A week later, he came back to us with a great design and worked with us to tweak it to accommodate our budget. Three weeks later the project started! We were very impressed at the communication, promptness, professionalism of everyone on the job, and especially the quality of the work! We had our new patio and pergola in under a week...no hassles, no worries....it was a very smooth process! Our neighbors were extremely impressed at how quick and how beautiful it looks! We are thoroughly enjoying the space and have said many times "we don't think we would change a thing"....it's PERFECT! I highly recommend Twinscapes! We will be using them again for "Phase 2" of this project!

Nate arrived promptly for estimate, offered a quick turn around from estimate to actually doing the work. arrived when he said he would to start project and completed in one day as promised. and my patio/walkway look AMAZING! i'm thrilled with how it turned out and i would recommend twinscapes to everyone. i'm in the middle of a 15 month (for a job estimated to take three months) nightmare w/ another contractor, so Nate's professionalism and responsibility was truly appreciated.

As stated before they were professional and courteous. They showed up on time and pretty much finished the project in one day with minor details the next.
