Twinscapes stood out from another bid we received because of the attention to detail. Nathan examined our yard and addressed its shortcomings with his design _ such as a lack of privacy due to it being a corner lot. Our late-season project was done earlier than projected because the weather cooperated and Nathan had extra workers available. The result is a beautiful patio that still receives compliments from our neighbors. Nathan was prompt and professional. His crew was fabulous. We have recommended Twinscapes to others.

Nate and Sam are first class. They drew up a very extensive and elaborate patio & pool hard scape plan for our backyard. At every step, they both were extremely professional, courteous, creative. The value proposition they offered stood apart from the four other competitors we had bid the job. Their crew was fast, meticulous, and highly capable. They worked long hours and made sure every detail was perfect. The job was completed on time, within budget, and all of our friends and family are now enjoying a wonderful outdoor backyard oasis thanks to Twinscapes. They have done many jobs in the Upper Arlington area where we live, and we have referred them to many friends. There is no doubt they are among the very best at what they do.

Very pleased with the overall service and results. Initial communications were sometimes difficult due to the availability of the (working) owner. However he always responded as soon as he was able and was extremely thorough in regard to design development and material selections. The work was scheduled to occur approximately two months out but was completed roughly one month after we came to agreement. We were contacted a week in advance of when the work was to begin and were told the project would take four days. I felt this to be very very ambitions but it was right on schedule. All materials were delivered on time, the crew was extremely professional, left the site clean every day and included us as the project took shape to suggest minor design changes or make suggestions; none of which impacted the agreed upon price. They even cleaned up some shrubbery and added appropriate flower beds, exceeding our expectations. We are extremely happy with the final results and have received numerous compliments from our neighbors. After the project was competed, Nate returned to fully inspect the patio and corrected imperfections which we had not even noticed. I strongly recommend Nate and his team.

The job went smoothly overall, with one exception: the moving of a light post caused it to not work now possibly from moving it. I told them however, that I would take care of repairing this item after they spent the good part of a day trying to figure it out.

The entire job was completed in 1 1/2 days including demo, installation and clean up. Clean up was very through.

Twinscapes is a credible landscaping group and I am very happy with my patio that they finished. A neighbor recommended them to me. The actual co-owner, Nate, met with my husband and me to create a plan of action. He was happy to explain what he could provide for us and explained his visual concept very well by speaking to us in non-layman?s terms. A week after the project was finished, Nate returned to evaluate the patio. · Vision? Nate showed visuals of his projects, as well as stonework ideas that made it easy for us to imagine what our patio would look like. · Collaboration? I felt included with the whole process and the finished product was incredibly personalized. · Realistic budgeting? The project cost was itemized to provide explanation of the plan and Nathan made sure we had clear understanding of the project before proceeding. There were no hidden costs. Impressive Performance: · Persistence? Nathan is joined with a hard working crew that stayed with the project daily, showing their productiveness as the project developed. Nathan and these men show strong work ethic. · Timely? The group of men scheduled long work days to get their work finished, and budgeted their time according to the original timeline.

Twinscapes came to the house, reviewed the site and came up with several proposed designs for a new patio and landscaping. The designs were suited to various cost levels. There were a lot of options, and Sam was a true professional -- he didn't try to sell or up-sell anything, he provided his expertise to help us make the right decisions. After we selected the design, Twinscapes (in this case, Sam) provided a detailed estimate along with an architectural drawing that we were able to submit to the homeowners association for approval. We got added to the schedule quickly. Sam and his crew came and started work, taking good care not to cause unnecessary damage to the lawn when moving heavy equipment and gravel. Despite the stifling heat Sam and his crew made great progress. Each evening after completing their work for the day, the crew put everything away, covered the materials as needed and made sure everything looked neat and organized. The work was completed as planned. Overall they did a terrific job and we could not be happier with the end result. All the stones were cut to tight tolerances and everything came out exactly as we'd envisioned. We would not hesitate to recommend Twinscapes to our friends, and we'd definitely use them again.

This company put in a stone fire pit area with fire pit, leveled a stone walkway in another area and fixed a retaining wall. It involved moving a lot of dirt out and bringing a lot of stones and base products into the backyard. All the projects where completed in one day and they clean up their work area very nice.

Went GREAT start to finish. Lawn looks super almost 4 weeks out. Have had to mow new sod 2 times already. Green, healthy and growing like crazy! If you want landscaping done, hire these guys. Worked with Sam...would hire again.

We couldn't be happier! We worked with Nate and he was outstanding! He was able to come over within a couple days to provide an estimate. He was patient and professional as we talked through the options. Once we had gotten estimates from a couple other landscapers we chose Twinscapes and they started within a couple weeks. They completed the work in one day! I couldn't believe it. And it looked great! We were amazed at how good the work was and how quickly they were able to do it. We've gotten many compliments from our friends, family, and neighbors. What really impressed me though was that Nate was so patient with us and he really went above and beyond. We had never had landscaping work done before so we had lots of questions and he handled it really well. He gave us great answers and made us feel really comfortable. Not only that, but after the job was done I asked him about filling in some small cracks with some paving sand and he came over the next day to correct the issue - he even left the rest of the sand bag for me to fill in any more that I wanted after he was done. THEN when I asked him about using a sealant and he recommended a sealant - he actually dropped off a gallon for me to use free of charge! I used the sealant and it was awesome - really helped make the patio look nicer. We were floored by the service! Also, I wanted to share that he recommended a carpenter for us as we were having a wooden staircase rebuilt as part of our backyard improvements. After gathering estimates we used Nate's recommendation - Brian McDowell - and were thrilled with the results. Price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Brian! And the recommendation only made the experience with Twinscapes that much better. On the whole, Nate and Twinscapes were everything we wanted and more. Their estimate also came in well below the other guys so we were amazed at how well things went. We will definitely use them the next time we need landscaping work done!

Working with Nate was a very positive experience from start to finish. We live out of state but own a tenant occupied house in Dublin so we had to work with Nate mostly via phone and email. His response was good and he arrived on the job when he said he would and finished in two days. We trusted Nate to choose the layout, pattern and color of the patio and steps because I got the sense that Nate is as much of an artist as he is a contractor. I trusted his vision for the patio. We had a relative in the area who is a civil engineer do a final check on the work and he said that it was excellent work. We received estimates from three different contractors. What set Nate apart from the rest was price, professionalism, communication and the little extras that he offered the the others didn't. Nate gave me a detail explanation about how he would do the work and what to expect. He laid the pavers at an angle which looks great. The stairs are beautiful and he prepared flower beds along the entire length of the house beyond the patio as well as beds around the edge of the patio at no additional cost. The beds are filled with soil and mulch ready for whatever you want to plant. Or Nate can probably plant for you at an additional cost but since we have renters in our house we opted not to plant anything that might not be taken care of by the tenants. Being a landlord on the other side of the country from your house is always difficult when it comes to hiring contractors to do necessary work. We have to rely on the information received from tenants and contractors which isn't always reliable or honest. This was one of those times when dealing with a contractor was stress free. Thank you Nate for the excellent service and work.

Due to these guys' reputation here, they were a little jammed up in the early summer with a lot of business, but Nate did a great job of keeping me informed on availability based on how current project backlog was going. Job took 1 day as estimated, and work was extremely professional and clean looking, no debris was left whatsoever. In addition to plowing thru an additional step of concrete removal, Nate also hauled away a huge pile of ripped up sod I had from an entirely separate project for free. Have and will recommend these guys to C-bus friends. Thanks for a solid job, guys!

The whole experience was great. We had originally contacted Twinscapes last year but put the project on hold. This year we expanded the project to include the patio. Nate had a lot of great ideas about the design. We had a few conversations to iron out the details and once we decided on what we wanted the project started within a week. Nate and his crew we're amazing. They were fast, efficient, and friendly. The whole project was done in two days. The first day, they worked in a rainstorm for three hours! Their work was exceptional with attention to detail and they went way beyond our expectations. We are thrilled with the results; our neighbors and friends have raved over the way it looks. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

The McDowell's and their crew were great. They went to great pains to make the patio exactly what we wanted. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Nate drew up preliminary plan which was a bit more than we wanted to spend and he downsized the plan to fit into our budget. They cleaned up the area at the end of each day and work hard in the heat. This was our second job with TwinScapes. The first was a beautiful paver patio and planter box with a seating ledge. Perfection. This job was a circular retaining wall and a planter bed. With both jobs, Nate took the presented idea and with his imagination and skillful eye created landscaping features that are beautiful and functional. Nate and his co-workers finished the job quickly, on budget, and completely cleaned up after themselves. Nate even planted the trees we had purchased saving us the hassle of doing so. The TwinScapes brothers really know what they are doing, take the time to listen, are knowledge, and a pleasure to work with. Honestly, I can’t believe you’ll find a better group to work with.

We called Nate at Twinscapes to get an estimate on leveling and grading for a patio my husband wants to put in himself to save money. I wanted to leave a review for these guys because Nate was very responsive, picked up the phone right away and took the time to talk to my husband on a Sunday. We appreciated that - although Nate said he'd be happy to give us a quote - he gave us some excellent advice on how we can accomplish the leveling without the need to use their services (since we were trying to save $). I think that says a lot about their integrity.

Things went quite well. Nate was here several times, beginning last fall, to assess the setting and its challenges and to consider what plants to add in what spaces, so he had thought through the process before he and his crew began work. We had stressed that we wanted low-maintenance plants, a variety of color and texture, and a look that complemented our natural, wooded setting. The guys arrived on schedule and worked diligently on a very hot day for almost ten hours straight, coming back the next day to mulch and add the final touches. The final product was stunning; we couldn't have been more pleased. There were a couple of plants in Nate's selection that we thought were a bit too formal for the look we wanted; he worked with us and found other plants that were better for our setting. Other than his trip to the supplier to pick up those plants -- and he called us from there to consult with us before making the purchases -- Nate was here the entire time. He did not leave his crew to work without supervision, although it was evident that all of his employees were hard workers and experienced, as well. Since the installation, one plant has died and some grassy weeds began to come up at an alarming rate; Nate came back within few days of my call, pulled the weeds and advised us as to how to handle future ones, and agreed that a replacement plant was needed for the one that died. He will be replacing that plant within two weeks and asked us to call if we had any future concerns. Neighbors and friends have given us many compliments on the huge improvement in our entire back yard and driveway area.

I originally found Twinscapes on Angie's List with great reviews. I sent an e-mail over a weekend and Sam came out for an estimate just a day or two later. He provided a written plan and estimate in less than a week. It was a bit larger/more expensive than we wanted, so I revised the plan and he was very amenable to our requested changes. He originally told me the work would likely occur in the second or third week of June, but was ready early. Of the estimates I received, his was the least expensive. Sam and crew did the whole job in only 2 days. Sam arrived early on the first day and immediately got to work unloading materials and cutting up the sod in the backyard. He had 3 other guys working with him on the first day and they were able to finish the entire patio except for the step on day 1. They cleaned up as much as they could before they left the first day. They did leave some equipment in the backyard, but it was tidy. They arrived early again on day 2 and finished the mulched area and step in the back yard and completed all the hardscape in the front yard. He was even able to revise our plans on the fly and add a bit of stone work to the original plan. We are completely happy with all the work - Sam and crew did a beautiful job. They really cleaned up after themselves - both my yard, a bit they got in the neighbor's yard, and the street and sidewalks. Sam and all his crew were very professional and pleasant to work with - I would recommend them to anyone looking for landscape/hardscape contractors.

This is the second time working with Nate/Twinscapes and my only regret is we don't have more projects for this business. Nate is creative and came up with unique, complementary, designs for our house. He really listened to what we wanted and designed the perfect patio. The whole team is super professional and hardworking. They finished the project in 3 (long!) days and left everything clean and in perfect order. Twinscapes has fair prices and the work is top notch because of this Nate is very busy but well worth the wait.

The experience with Twinscapes was excellent. We worked with Sam who was very responsive and helpful. He met us at a showroom to go over difference paver options and designs and provided us with great suggestions/drawings for what would look best in our yard. The work took less than 2 days, and we are very happy with the way it looks. I would definitely recommend Twinscapes.

Nate and his brother, Sam, were a pleasure to work with; they were on site every day (except one rain-out) and the job was done in less than two weeks. We are thoroughly pleased with the result and are enjoying the new space -- I also find myself just looking out the window and smiling at it. Our property backs up to a local park and bike path, and multiple times I have noticed people stop their walk to stare at Twinscapes’ handiwork.

Nate and his two employees did a great job. I made a lot of changes to the patio after the initial estimate and Nate was super patient throughout the whole process. The patio installation took six days total and the end result was amazing. I'm hoping to have my landscaping around the patio and in front of my house redone in the spring and will definitely hire Twinscapes to do it.
